Beautifully found within the lush vegetation of Texolo in the state of Veracruz, Mexico. Vista point is mildly step to climb down to really appreciate the waterfall's true beauty, but very well worth the effort. The oxygen is so clean, rich and fresh it might help clean sinus issues as one of my colleagues found out. More than anything there is no quote or admission fees and there is some local artesan souvenirs shops at the beginning of the entrance trail as well as small regional eatery in case of cravings. Will definitely visit again if in the vicinity...

It's a wonderful natural area that's free to enter. Taxi costs MXN$60 each way from Xico and you can call radio taxi from there. Not a lot of stalls and the road down wasn't well paved, however.

The location is beautiful. Although the easier walkable footpath and lookout is closed. Of course they didn't mention that... The only available natural footpath is extremely dangerous if wrong weather.

Amazing! The waterfall carries a huge amount of water. Make sure to stop by and take a look at the coffee plants along the way.

Really beautiful, and inexpensive, just have to pay the parking, walking 10 minutes downing 100 steps

The way down is a bit long and rocky, so wear comfortable hiking/walking shoes. Going back up is quite a workout but it's worth it. The place and view is majestic and impressive!

The falls were stunning. Very steep walk back up though. Take your time because your legs get tired. Still highly recommend!

Beautiful large waterfall. We visited from the Santa Rosa side. The waterfall is stunning and hiking around and finding more waterfalls is really worth it! Entrance for the hike downstairs was 20MX pp. No option to swim on this side

Spectacular waterfall but final pathway ver slippery so only my husband actually went down to it. We were told by a restaurant server in Xico that it was only about 15 minutes "camino" outside town. That would be by car. We walked. It is a long walk in the heat.

What a great experience to see and to be admiring this majestic artwork of mother nature. It is a walk distance from the main plaza in Xico, 60 pesos for a cab if you dont want to walk but if you do, you will be rewarded with a path full of lush greens, the bigest banana treesI have seen, coffee plants, friendly people, local liquor vendors that offers tastings and the ocasional field worker with a machete going to work.

Great recreational area. Just wear non slip shoes or watch your steps.

I walked there. For someone who is 65 years old, and used to a lower altitude, going down to the waterfall and back up was difficult. Had trouble catching my breath. Very beautiful, interesting birds to be seen in the area, and coffee farms along the road. If you are a tourist visiting from Xico, I would recommend hiring a taxi if you aren't used to the altitude, so you don't have to walk back to Xico.

👍 The Museum is a very nice place. They only needed to include in their information the history of the modern clown mask created in 1960 by the master mask maker David R. Tepo Tlaxcalteco who effectively implemented the cardboard technique in the 70s. I consider this data to be very important and sho...
