Pretty ok food but no fireworks. It wasn't food to lick your fingers! Cutlery thrown on the table top without any napkin with a plate. Terrible... Fish submerged in oil / butter bland. The soup was over-salted, inedible. I found black hair in the dessert. Terrible impression. A waitress with a mouth offended as if she were a punishment, bad attitude towards the customer. She was very haughty and unpleasant. Overall impression too expensive to go again and eat badly and look at poor service. The guys waiters were more pleasant and gave us a free drink of strong alcohol. Overall, I do not recommend it...

The starter was good, but the main course and the dessert were not. Although looked good, the fish was dry and the dessert was a disappointment. The service wasn't great either and waiters pay very little (or no) attention to the guests, and the vibes were not welcoming. It was my birthday dinner, I expected a good experience, but unfortunately, it was a bad one.

I sadly have to change my review as this restaurant, that I have loved for years, has declined significantly in quality over the last year and a half or so. It will still make money it's not a tourist trap or anything but it is just not up to the quality it has been before. They clearly have a new chef and/or new management and they are not even attempting to keep the standard.

The staff are lovely, and welcoming. Decent selection of wine. However the food is somewhat off. Some dishes were much too salty, and some completely tasteless Wouldn’t rush back there. Soz!

Horrible skate wing which was off and sent back after first bite. Treated atrociously and insulted by the manager, who refused to offer any solution.

We had a dinner on 21.10.2023. A 4 meal course we ordered was the biggest disappointment. The first two dishes were simply bad, we could barely eat them... The fish was bitter, plus it sunk in oil that had strong smell and weird taste. All the ingrediantes seemed to not complement each other. The main dish was OK, though nothing special, (I could cook that at home); however, at least it was eatable. The dessert was the only dish we liked. I had an important call, but the waitress asked to not talk loud.. I would not recommend this place.

Aesthetically Pleasing, But Beware of Oysters at Fishmarket I recently had the opportunity to visit Fishmarket, a place that came highly recommended by friends from Mexico. Always eager to explore new and exciting dining experiences, I eagerly anticipated my visit. Upon arrival, Fishmarket's beautiful and inviting ambiance immediately captured my attention. The well-designed interior and tasteful décor truly set the stage for an exceptional dining experience. Unfortunately, the reality fell somewhat short of my expectations. Arriving at around 5:30 pm, my party and I found the restaurant completely empty. We were not particularly hungry but were excited to sample a variety of entrées. However, we felt somewhat uncomfortable, as the staff seemed to expect us to order main courses. Their demeanor gave us the impression that our decision to only order entrées was unwelcome. The most concerning issue, however, was our experience with the oysters. Several of us decided to indulge in this popular delicacy, only to fall ill later that evening. It was clear that the oysters we consumed were not of the highest quality, putting a damper on our overall dining experience. While Fishmarket boasts a stunning atmosphere, the service and food quality left much to be desired. I sincerely hope they take the necessary steps to improve these aspects, as the potential for a great dining experience is there. Until then, I would advise potential diners to approach with caution, particularly when it comes to the oysters

Ordered delicious seafood platter followed by Skate Wing, which had a strange consistency - took one bite and sent it back, chef refused to replace it, we ordered dessert. Bill arrived and we were charged for the Skate, asked for it to be removed from bill, the manager called the POLICE. To avoid the stress of a POLICE matter we paid the full bill and left. Terrible bullying by manager.

Taste it’s not deserve the price, the cleanliness and most of service was just so-so. They treat guests differently with some snubbed. Then when I was checked, a waitress “Choose to tip for me”, I feel like a forced. I don’t really enjoy in this restaurant. And the details and culinary skill make me feel bad. I‘m sure some good taste just from the food self. I’m really disappointed my birthday dinner in this restaurant.

Everything was great and even a couple dishes were excellent. But, some dishes just were not great and it confused me. The service was perfect and gracious. The atmosphere is also great as well as the location. I definitely recommend an early dinner here.

It’s our first evening in Kopenganen, we had nice evening, the food was damn great. Not so many options but all of them amazing. It was difficult to choose the most delicious 😋The oysters are the most fresh which we ever had. Aleksander helps us about choosing the food and also advises about some nice places for visiting

I believe the prices are too high for the taste...some dishes at least and there's not a big menu to choose from. It was ok for the first and last time. The drinks were average and I didn't really liked the service plus they've put a bottle of water on the bill and table, without us asking for it... The grilled small lobster was super tasty but only the lobster and not the pasta with peas and sage. The fish of the day super good but not the peas and the fish soup was not good and very expensive!

A fine tasteful experience. The atmosphere was what one should expect from a good designed space. We have tried the four courses meal and chablis to accompany our dinner. The bathroom was clean and the waiters were kind. Suggest to book ahead to avoid disappointment.

Food is uneven. Some great (lobster bisque), and some mediocre (langoustines) but the issue was that we waited 1h15min for the oyster starter at lunch time, when there were only 4 other tables with customers. We then waited another 20+min for the starters. Also 15min plus for a 2nd bottle of water, while the staff member we asked was on the phone and had forgotten. Staff was not particularly kind, and one member was unprofessionally blunt. There are much better alternatives in the area.

Absolutely famous restaurant. That porched pulpo was the best starter I‘ve ever had in my life. Big applause to the kitchen.

We had lunch here today. I had the smoked salmon with radishes, cream cheese, and wasabi. It was very good without the wasabi being overly spicy. My husband had the fish special which was hake with parsnips and cauliflower. It was a very delicate white that was surprisingly tasty. The server was extremely attentive. The only downside was the portion size. It was quite small, but then again, we Americans have been spoiled by supersizing.

A delicious seafood meal paired with wine. The service was also on point. A great experience.

Sad to see the negative reviews because we had a wonderful experience! Our host was attentive and took the time to explain the dishes and accommodate our requests. The chef himself came out and served the main courses to us which was a nice surprise. The food was very good as well. I would return on my next visit to Copenhague.

What can I say, tonights lemon sole dish was sensational! With a rich, buttery sauce containing not one but two types of salty, unctuous fish roe and the fish cooked to perfection to keep it moist. The potato side also delicious, combined with soft cheese & radishes, a wholegrain mustard vinaigrette and tiny potato chips on top. Even the fresh bread enhanced with salt & rosemary was a real treat. My thanks to the welcoming hostess who offered me a seat at the bar even though they were fully booked. Great to see a limited menu choice which clearly focusses on the freshest seafood available.
