A two-story bunker where you are free to walk from room to room. Several interactive displays suitible for children and families. You will get a feeling of how it was to work in this environment, but there is not much left of the original equipment or installations. Many rooms are probably adapted for school classes visiting and learning about the cold war. A good choice for a short family trip, the dedicated history nerd will perhaps feel that there could have been more.

We loved it! The museum staffguy was amazing, he walked us along the exhibition, filled us with interesting insider info. The exhibition is interactive, detailed, nothing is broken or missing. We brought 2 hours there, but we could have used another 15 minutes. We also made a 30 minutes walk in the surroundings to look at the armateries and magazines.

Not very big, but very interesting exhibition inside the original fortress from The 1st World War. Experience life conditions in the fortress and the outside world during The 1st World War and The Cold War. Interactive games for children and youngsters/adults. Not for claustrophobic people. Poor air quality. Live reenactments once a year.

We were at the Krigshistorisk Festival (Festival for history of War) that portraits 2000 years of history from the Roman legionaries to modern soldiers of 2019. The festival uses the old fortification of Copenhagen city (Vestvolden) as a scene for displaying different groups of "actors" dressed as people from different periods of time. E.g. vikings, knights, WWII etc. My son was very impressed and all the participants very glad to talk and share knowledge about their period of time. There were fights against different groups - also across time periods. I recommend going there next year in 2020 - at least I will be there

Interesting place to visit especially if you have kids 4 years and above. The way the bunkers have been converted into a sheep farm is a great way to preserve the trees and the form of the landscape. The kids also get a chance to feed the sheep. We haven't visited the bunker yet where we could learn about the history of this place. Really enjoyed the walk along this place.

A hidden gem of a museum. It's an actual bunker which had been decommissioned. Good interactive exhibits.

I wasn't expecting interactive games and videos in a museum. They were fun and interesting. Also, the lady at the entrance made it even more memorable, thank you for the amazing welcome and friendliness! :)
