Fantastic nature area for walks and runs of (almost) all lengths

Such a beautiful lake. It's really big and always a go to running spot for the locals. You can also have picnics here during the summer.

Gorgeous park and laggons right in the middle between the city and it's northern outskirts. Easy access, a very calm, and full of bird life.

Great green area in the city

Beautiful

Sweet green-blue enclave in northern Copenhagen. If you're in or around Nørrebro, or further to the east or northeast, it'll be a nice half-day walk through Grøndal, then Damhussøen, then Husum, then Utterslev Mose down to Bispebjerg, where the splendid Grundtvigs Kirke is. From there you can take the bus 6A to Nørreport if you wish.

Great nature area, just a few km from the city centre. Comprising three lakes, it has a rich variety of birds, insects, flora, etc.

Utterslev Mose is a body of water consisting of 3 lakes with pedestrian and cycle paths around the perimeters. The area is a surprisingly large pocket of nature within the city, and home to a wide array of birds and other wildlife. The grey geese here are so tame that you can hand feed them, and at this time of year you can enjoy getting close to adorable goslings too! Do not bring bread to feed the ducks and geese here, as the lakes already suffer from an excess of nutrients in the water. Overall a beautiful and peaceful place for a stroll, cycle or run. Lots of spots for picnics and a few playgrounds dotted around for the kids.
