I
went
to
Sri
D.K.K.
General
&
Dental
Hospital
Kanchipuram
after
seeing
all
5
star
584
Google
reviews
hoping
that
they
are
well
made
for
the
problem
of
food
stucking
between
molar
teeth
I
lower
left
side.
After
examination,
I
was
advised
to
have
crowing
of
two
molar
teeth
to
solve
the
problem.
In
general
investigation,
the
dentist
suggested
to
have
crowns
on
upper
right
molars
also
as
they
may
develop
problem
soon.
He
further
told
the
bases
of
teeth
are
fine
and
no
need
for
root
canal
just
fixing
the
crown
will
solve
the
problem.
The
dentist
shown
different
types
of
crowns
and
I
selected
DMIS
crown
costing
Rs.
5500
each.
So
the
total
cost
of
the
crowns
was
Rs.
27500.
Apart
from
this
amount
In
paid
Rs.
Rs.
4500/-
for
the
procedures
like
taking
impression,
crown
fixation
and
scaling
and
filling.
I
also
paid
around
Rs.
750/-
for
medicines.
All
these
procedures
started
on
18th
July
2022
and
ended
on
29th
July
2022.
In
between,
on
22nd
July
2022,
I
was
contacted
and
told
to
come
to
hospital
as
the
crowns
were
ready.
I
went
but
the
crowns
were
not
fitting
properly
β
I
could
not
close
the
mouth
properly
ad
upper
jaw
teeth
were
not
properly
resting
on
lower
jaw
teeth.
They
tried
several
times
by
polishing
the
corresponding
teeth
to
a
level
it
become
sensitive.
I
was
objecting
to
these
polishing,
they
went
on
just
telling
it
was
only
polishing
β
not
drilling
and
wonβt
cause
any
problem.
Unfortunately,
my
tongue
was
lacerated
during
the
polishing
operations
β
it
took
about
two
weeks
to
cure
β
a
lot
of
pain
and
even
now
I
am
having
hard
tissue
in
this
lacerated
place.
Finally
they
told
me
come
on
the
day
when
the
crowns
were
ready.
Finally
the
crown
was
fixed
on
29th
July
2022.
I
was
very
much
happy
that
my
all
the
oral
problem
was
over.
Alas!
After
a
week,
gum
started
swelling
on
lower
left
jaw
adjacent
to
where
the
drilling
and
fixing
of
crown
was
done.
It
is
still
persisting
with
mild
pain
and
bleeding
occasionally.
The
tragedy
was
that
on
20th
Sepember
2022,
the
three
crowns
fixed
on
the
upper
right
molars
gave
way
and
separated
from
the
base
teeth.
Within
two
days
pain
and
sensitiveness
set
in
making
me
difficult
even
to
drink
water.
I
consulted
a
local
dentist
as
I
was
away
at
that
time.
He
gave
me
some
relief
medicines
and
told
me
to
contact
the
dentist
who
did
the
procedure
as
not
performing
the
root
canalling
the
reason
for
the
medical
failure.
I
went
to
DKK
dentist
once
again
and
he
started
looking
everything
as
new
and
telling
we
have
to
do
root
canalling
in
all
the
previous
ones
and
the
adjacent
teeth
as
they
also
developed
the
sensitiveness
due
to
loss
of
enamel.
He
is
not
taking
proper
responsibility
of
his
failure
to
identify
what
to
do
and
how
to
proceed.
I
wonder
how
this
dentist
had
584
all
five
star
rating
without
a
sing
4,
3,
or
2
star
β
is
it
doctored?
Fortunately,
I
contacted
Dr.S.M.Balaji,
Balaji
Dental
&
Craniofacial
Hospital.
Chennai
and
he
advised
me
for
better.
