This temple is said to be one the oldest temple where both Shiva and Parvathi are placed together. The temple is very clean, well maintained and often hosts some programmes. The temple is located in a village -Ghantasala which is about an hour and half away from Vijayawada and an hour away from Machilipatnam. This village is set to be influenced by Buddisum ages ago and many remains have been found that are placed in the ASI Museum .

Ghantasala having rich historical Hindu temples, Buddha Stupa and also home town for ancestors of Telugu Legendary Singer Sri Ghantasala. It is the only temple where you can observe Lord Siva and Parvathi are placed on a single "peetam" (panavattamu). Temple and Stupas are well maintained and worth visit. Its very good temple and devine place. Especially Lord Shiva and Parvathi will be there in one place. It's very rare thing and you can't find any where. The Nandhi architecture is simply superb and Siva lingam is in white. Visit when are you are near to Vijayawada.

Temple surroundings are clean, you'll get devotional feeling. Temple opens from 6Am to 12 noon and 2 Pm to 8.30 Pm. Needs lighting a bit better it's difficult for elders.
