In February, during the carnival, it is a place where for several days it shows the world of colors, characters and loud music. Great show with countless platforms and hundreds of those involved. Fantastic time definitely worth coming here at this time!

Very nice open space, especially for children to play as they can run freely. Pope's visit was a magnificent experience

Floriana is a historical place full of beautiful gardens: Argotti Garden, St. Philip's Garden, Sa Maison Garden (also known MiLorda garden) and others. The Sarria church is a place to visit with priceless paintings. The beautiful St. Publius church is a must visit.

Yesterday on the eve of St Publius feast a fireworks festival was organised at St Publius square after a break of two years because of covid. Today Sunday 23April ,a high mass was celebrated by the bishop in honour of St Publius. There will be many food kiosks and people in St Publius square ,to celebrate the feast.

After parking our car, we walked through the granaries and admired the open space, but we found there wasn't much to do. However, it's a popular meeting place and the starting point for many activities, like the carnival or scout events. To enhance visitors' appreciation for the historical value of the place, I would recommend providing more historical information.

Ate at San Giovanni in St. John's Sq. The rabbit was interesting and quite tasty, although different from what I expected. The helpings reminded me more of prime rib than my expectations of Little Bunny Foo Foo.

Beautiful square. Imposing church faces the granaries. Very close to Valletta

This is a public open space, more of a large historical square, used for many national events, such as political rallies and Carnival activities.

According to the Biblical account, Publius was a Roman ruler on Malta when the Apostle Paul was shipwrecked here, and was converted to Christianity through Paul’s ministry. Tradition holds that he later became the leader of the church here, and the main square in the town of Mdina is named in his honor, though the cathedral here is named for St. Paul himself.

Fully refurbished after some years of reconstruction this move garden has been renewed with a nice fountain, the sculpture of the Maltese Independencia celebrating the 21st of September in front of the main entrance from la Valette. A must see garden, next to la Valette and main bus station

Quite nice place near to main bus station, but empty, just with closed church. Stop there, if you're nearby.

St. publius' square (the granaries) floriana - The largest public square in Malta is the one in front of St.Publius church in Floriana. The Granaries sometimes are turned into a venue for mass events.

Best place for large gatherings. Very centrally located, only 1 bus ride away from all around the island.

St Publius Square was a great open arena with unusual flooring, known as The Granaries. It was a great occasion of welcoming the great Pope Francesco on our Island of Malta and Gozo. This square is not the first time to welcome large crowds, both religious and of entertainment.

The place where Valletta ends and Floriana starts. Nearby you'll find the station of the hop-on hop-off busses. The nearby churchbof St. Publius is also worth checking
