This must have been the best holiday accommodation I've ever visited. The family who runs the hotel is super nice and you can ask them all your questions about the island. They are so hostile that they don't even allow you to clean up your own plate after you finish your breakfast. The rooms are clean and comfortable. There is a minifridge in which you can keep your water cool. There's a goodworking airco, so even if it's stil 30 degrees at night you can still sleep comfortably. The busstops are close, which is ideal if you can't rent a car. In short, worth even more than 5 stars!

Quite poor breakfast, standard room a bit small. If You can take bigger one. No place for parking.

Port View is the cleanest hotel I have stayed in anywhere. The room felt as though I was the first guest. A comfortable bed, pillows and linens, very spacious, plus well supplied with towels and toiletries. I was very pleased with the welcoming bottles of wine and water. The location is about a block off the main street of Marsaxlokk, making it much quieter. My room had a limited port view. The breakfast room is lovely with a grand port view. I did not have breakfast, I had to check out early before service began. I never met or spoke to any employees, but I do believe they were on the property. My only negative - the outside lighting was bad. The steep stairs were a bit scary at 5 AM in the dark. I recommend this place and would definitely stay there again.

We have had a very nice stay in this guest house. The contact with Andrew and his father was warm and helpful each time we needed it. The location is perfect, the terrace for the breakfast very enjoyable. The premises very clean, the bedding very comfortable. Very quiet place not far from everything. If we come back to Malta we'll choose Port View Guest House again. Highly recommended.

I needed to leave the luggage before check-in and even if the host was not there that early, he kindly let us in and I left the luggage. There was a free upgrade and the view from the terrace is beautiful.

The mattresses were a bit soft for our taste, this however wasn't a major problem either. Otherwise everything deemed great. The family run guesthouse is a great choice for a holiday stay. Everyone is welcomed us with exemplary hospitality, was helpful and made sure our vacation goes smoothly (airport transfer, late check-in, providing information etc.) Location is great, the restaurants are nearby just as well a great beach, Peter's pool. AC worked fine, so did the free wifi.

Extremely clean and spacious room for 3 people; complimentary welcome drinks, namely wine and a bottle of water. The breakfast room is situated at the rooftop with an amazing view over the historical harbor. The owner was really lovely and jolly, he prepared cappuccinos for my mom 3 times in a row ;) the airport shuttle can be arranged for a reasonable price; and it was also possible to store the luggage after the check-out!

Everybody was so kind, and everything was awesome. We had to check out early, and they managed to get us an early breakfast. If we are coming back to Malta, we are going to chose Port View!

Has changed. Not what it was 1 year ago. Unsafe to park. Leaking shower and toilet. The wine is a nice gift. Would be great to put a bottle opener as well.

Great location, big room, clean, and friendly staff.

Charlie and his team made us feel at home. We would definitely recommend you stay there if visiting Malta. Beds were very comfortable , breakfast was on point and set us for the day everyday, not to mention the lovely cappuccinos and hot chocolates made with Smiley faces.
