game is dying, and coming to this store you can see why. Staff know nothing about gaming, computers or accessories. I was really disappointed. So out of touch they started to sell board games and warhammer lol

i love this place, was my last stop to buy pokemon items and found so many!! also the security worker isn’t a security worker for no reason, watched him tackle a shoplifter running at full speed and me and my friends were shocked LOL

Horrible customer service, They didn’t let me refund a keyboard after I paid 50£ and my son said the keyboard was faulty . I don’t understand the return policy it’s awful. Never going back, workers are disrepectful !!!!

If a company should go bust, then it's this one. Stupidly overpriced, terrible uninformed, consently given misleading information, lies and awful customer service every time. If you employ unprofessional idiots and treat customers with no respect , don't be surprised when it all goes bust. Good riddance

Good selection of games, toys, collectables to be had given the size of the shop. Some good offers available on the Star Wars figures to be had at the moment. Really friendly and helpful staff

Have game cases on display despite them not being in stock, incredibly overpriced too. Wouldn't recommend whatsoever.

Recently purchased an xbox series X from here, I like to buy stuff in person so that was helpful. Staff were friendly and helpful. I pre-ordered the last pokemon game and got some cool extras. But apart from day one preorder games and physical consoles I can't see much need for Game, it increasingly just feels like a toy shop.

I shouldn’t have bought anything from here. Spend nearly 20£ for a faulty item. Went there to exchange the young looking staff didn’t let me finish kept on going. I didn’t want to say anything i just said thank you and left. The lady there was nice and friendly tho.

Nice little game got a good selection of items. Staff are always friendly and helpful, stock is easy to find and though it can get cramped at times its not the worst ship I've been in. Just wished items were a little cheaper as a lot of titles seem way over priced for what they are. I miss my local one and its no replacement as that one had far more options to choice from. Its not the worst game ever the staff more then make up for where the shop is lacking ive never had an unfriendly member of staff.

Game seems to have gone down hill recently. Instead of turning to pop culture items they've filled the shelves with pepper pig and other children's Hasbro toys. Pointless visiting anymore.

Just went into your shop to sort out my boyfriends 21st birthday present and was met by lovely staff who helped us find what we needed right away, specifically Heather who helped us out at the till and gave us some great advice on games and memberships! 💗💗

What's the point. Just give us a automated kiosk to trade in and order. Went to buy Guardians of the Galaxy ps5 preowned. Found on the shelf. Queued up for 10 mins. Told they don't actually have it. Must be on the shelf so we can imagine what it would be like to play it. The only reason Game still exists is for trade in and discount. If you can't do that, might as well pack it in. No apology. Utterly useless. Avoid!!!!

Our trip to Liverpool a few weeks ago was amazing anyway due to seeing bullet for my Valentine but was made even better due to the amazing staff especially Heather and Tom who were extremely helpful and lovely to get to know

Staff are really nice and just a typical GAME store. Came here to purchase a PS5 but we were lucky and signed up for the waiting list which only took about 2 weeks. The staff will try to upsell you things but that is just business!

Dont buy from this store! I bought new alien game, took the PS4 box to counter and they gave me the ps5 version instead. I didn’t notice. Took it home cost me £35. Then took it back 3 days later. They said they ‘cudnt take it back’ even tho I gave the reciept. Said it had been Opened’. Didn’t even come in a cellophane wrapper! All it had was a little sticker on the side! Told me they cud give me a £25 voucher even tho I payed £35 for it! Seriously joke! Buy off Amazon they will accept returns if THEY make a mistake or go CEX next door. Better value for money. Game is a rip off and that’s just not on! Joke is on me tho. I KNEW I cud get it cheaper online but went in to help my high street stores! Get lost!

Most if the staff are kinda rude tbh, and push on making a sale way too hard, like if you just want to buy what you want in for, be prepared for 200 attempts of them selling you something else and for your visit to take alot longer than expected/neccesary

Terrible service, draconian returns policy - "If you've opened it, you can't swap it." Except the item in question was an Xbox controller that happened to be appalling quality, and the only way to discover that fact was to - you guessed it - open it and use it at home. Game know exactly what they're doing with this policy, too. The only way to find out the quality of a controller is by using it. If you've used it, you can't exchange it. Disgusting.

Ok range of games and other merchandise. We went just a few weeks before Christmas so expect some long queues and busy store.

Everytime me and my boyfriend go into and find a game we really like, we pick the box up from the shelf and take it to the counter, and I swear to god everytime it’s “we don’t have it in stock” or “this game is discontinued and won’t be made anymore” if that’s the case WHY IS IT STILL ON THE SHELF?! Also staff are rude and snotty.
