Beautiful park and historic district. The park is across the street from the Ohio River. Definitely has the feel of a town that has retained it's French origins.

This was the most magical, beautiful, and mesmerizing display ever. Definitely worth the drive. Traffic is extremely heavy but not bad if you get near the park by 5:15 or so.

My family and I have been to Gallipolis City Park many times for their Christmas lights display. Every time we go, we feel like we've stepped out of a Christmas story. It feels so magical! It is definitely an experience of a lifetime, and there is nothing like it. My family and I are extremely thankful for the volunteers who put together this truly magical Christmas light display. Absolutely amazing!!

What a beautifully set up light show with music and many unique light displays! I definitely will be adding this to my list for Christmas stops each year. Also, the pub right up the street has some great food and service too!

We stopped here on Christmas Day on the way back from visiting friends. I've experienced several light displays through out my 55 yrs and I can honestly say that this was the most beautiful I've ever seen! The trees were lit timed with music and it was on perfect timing! Everything from the moment I stepped out of my car was absolutely breathtaking. I smiled more during that walk through the park than I had all day! It was drizzling rain but even that didn't stop us from walking the entire park beginning to end and front to back. GREAT JOB to the city of Gallipolis.

The christmas lights did not disappoint. Spectacular job by a small town! I saw the segment on The Today Show featuring Gallipolis Christmas lights so we drove over for dinner and a walk through the river front park. This is a must see on every Christmas list!

Beautiful setting in a quaint little town. Set on the banks of the Ohio River, it is a perfect place for a picnic or just a walk to enjoy a beautiful day.

We went here to see the lights in the park. Driving from Huntington w.v it was a beautiful drive. I was so surprised to see a cozy little town with a southern feel. It was like being down south in Nolo or Alabama. Much colder! The park is decorated like a wonderland. Food trucks were off to the left of the park ( depending on entrance) Porta Pottys are down over the bank close to the river. It was all beautiful, over the bank is memorial trees. Decorated by families and businesses to honor people. Such a nice finishing touch to it all. Highly recommend

The lights here are so great! Very cute city with what seemed like lots of business around. I’d like to go back for a visit.

It was a wonderful experience. The lights were beautiful and very magical. If any family wants some entertainment that's free go to the park to see the light show. Santa has his shop all set up and is ready for the little ones.

I went to see the Christmas lights in the park with my family and it was beautiful! The park was easy to walk around and had multiple benches in case anyone wanted to take a rest. There was also opportunities for children to be able to get their pictures taken with Santa and the Grinch!

This was the first year my family and I visited Gallipolis in Lights. It was absolutely amazing. We were all in such awe and giddy of how extraordinary the Christmas πŸŽ„ Light display was. We've never seen anything like this before. The trees are huge and very well decorated. Seeing the Christmas bulbs/lights hanging in the trees was mesmerizing. The gazebos were absolutely stunning. We had a blast and we highly recommend visiting. You won't regret it. There are food vendors as well, and Santa πŸŽ… walks the park too. There are so many places to capture the perfect holiday photo. Just WOW!!

My husband and I love to stop at the park watch for the barges to come through. When we are passing through. I didn't see any this time. But we still enjoyed seeing on the swing.

We traveled down from Columbus for a car show. I will have to say it is a very beautiful park. I really loved and respect the military monument that is on display. Worth the stop if it is just for it. Thank you to all gave all.

Well maintained park with plenty of trees for shade. They always have street vendors nearby on the weekend. And events happen all the time. Unfortunately no playset but still a gorgeous space.

We enjoy going to Gallipolis in Lights each year. The people who set this up do a tremendous job. Lots of lights for all the children and adults to see. Lights in motion with music to seeing classic Charlie Brown. The awareness and memorial trees keeps growing.
