Amazing experience from a past time! Great food and cocktails. The stuffed pork chop was out of this world. Restaurant is one of the only spots you can dine directly on the water of Lake Michigan.

I went her for my birthday and nothing disappointed. I made a reservation beforehand and got my coat checked at the door. I was seated right away even with arriving early for our reservation. We had the Filet Oscar and White Fish and both were delicious! The twice baked potato and the spinach salad with bacon was heaven. Everything down to the sesame dinner rolls was enjoyable! We also had their Brandy Old Fashion Sweet, which they are know for, and it was strong (wish it was a little sweeter though)! For my birthday, that waitress gave us some ice cream with chocolate sauce, a wafer, and a candle! I will be back again to the Hobnob!

My boyfriend and I dined at this restaurant recently for a special occasion. The prime rib was delicious. However, the pepper sauce on steak au poivre was too over powering and a little too salty. The spinach salad was ok. I was expecting the spinach salad to be freshly cut given the price we are paying, but it seems like it was from Costco. The atomphere and service was great. The waitress was very friendly. The food is pretty good overall, but not amazing given the price.

The Hobnob is one my wife and I's favorite restaurants. Not only is the food delicious and cooked to perfection... the service is incredible. The second you walk in the door and are greeted by the hostess you feel special. The waitresses are attentive, super friendly and answer any questions you may have. The best part of Honob is the food! I have never been disappointed. I would highly recommend eating at the Hobnob... especially for a special occasion.

Atmosphere: this place is great, step back in time, classic Supper Club feel. Service: good service, timing of food was good, slow paced in purpose I think. Food: Supper Clubs often come with a Relish Tray. This one does too, for $12. It was ok, but nothing special. I had the Spinach Salad which was very good, loved the dressing. For dinner I had a Petite Fillet and Baked Potato. The steak was cooked well, but was barely warm and didn't have much flavor. The baked potato was also barely warm, wouldn't melt the butter I put on it. My friend got the Fried Shrimp and Au Gratin Potatoes. The potatoes were steaming hot and looked good, and she liked the shrimp. She also had a Brandy Alexander that she liked.

It really is the best Super Club left in this area! The escargot are in garlic butter, they have baked French onion soup, prime rib, lamb, weiner schnitzel. The menu has too many wonderful choices to list! Frozen brandy Alexander or a grasshopper drinks for dessert, piled high!Just the best service. Live music on weekends. The decor is beautiful and just brings you back to another time! Located right on Lake Michigan with beautiful views! Highly recommend a reservation. One of my favorite restaurants that I will continue to cherish!

Upscale 60s formal dinner club with white table cloth includes soup and salad And a old school vibe atmosphere. It’s like going into a Time Machine And coming in to the 60s less the smoke. Very good food.service and circuses.

Stunning views of Lake Michigan, retro old world decor and some good old American food is what makes this super club a must stop if you are in the area and a regular stop if you live in the area! Food was a bit salty.. Which seems to be case with most superclubs but it's delicious. Service was super nice and prices are fair.

I heard all the great things about this place and finally got a chance to visit. Service was great! We came for a Tuesday night (around 5 30pm) dinner, our dishes were served relatively quick. I think I was expecting food to be a little more unique...french onion soup was very salty, spinach salad with warm balsamic dressing and bacon was interesting (bacon wasn't freshly made but rather some tiny wet soft pieces), bread rolls were fresh and warm but nothing to blow your mind with. Butter - plain ol' butter (I'm not sure why I was expecting a unique twist of some original spices added to that butter..). Main course - I had salmon. I was expecting to try some unique flavor I can't get at home, but it was the quality of salmon I make (some Dijon mustard, baked salmon). It was good, but nothing special. My husband had steak, which I thought lacked flavor also, he seemed to like it. Overall - good food. Will I be back? I doubt it...

Not what we expected. Never being to a super club, didn't know what to expect. This has that old charm feel and seems kind of dark and dated. We got one of the best seats in the house though, with an amazing view of lake Michigan. Down side was it was also right by the piano, so that was really loud and we couldn't hear each other talk. We did go earlier, but it was during the derby, so it was pretty busy. Ended up waiting for over 30 minutes before anyone came to our table (and only because I went to find someone). They were very apologetic. My favorite part was the salmon which was delicious, but the rest of the food was OK; nothing to rave about. Maybe we just caught them on an off day, might have to try again?

Wow great experience.. we both lived here never been here because we had to go for our 10th anniversary and it was worth it!!! The atmosphere was great, if it was light out would had a great view of lake Michigan our server Andrew was phenomenal! My old fashion was good My wife loved her French martini! She ordered the filet mignon and said it was one of the best she's ever had ( I tried it I do agree with her) I had the stuffed pork chop which was amazing I couldn't eat the whole thing! Crab stuffed mushrooms were delicious, Spinach salad was great as was the French onion soup and the prime rib potato soup. And to top it off New York cheesecake and a cup of coffee! It was a bit pricey but well worth it for the experience..

Had dinner with some friends. The atmosphere was great and it located next Lake Michigan. In December it is definitely decorated very well. All the food that I tried was very good. Starting with the appetizers, the were all good. The fried onion rings came out as a loaf and was delicious. That was enough to feed the whole table. The stuffed mushrooms were incredible. The crab cakes were delicious and we used the garlic buttery that came with it for the bread. Then we moved on to the cesar salad and spinach salad which were wonderful. I was able to try the Lamb Shank and Steak au Poivre. Both were wonderful and had great flavor. I was pleasantly surprised how good the black pepper was on the steak and was a great touch. The lambs shank and butter parsley red potatoes had the perfect taste and texture. Then we finished it off with all the desserts. My favor was the Strawberry Schaum Torte and Creme Brulee. Worth a stop for me when I was in the area.

Awesome old world supper club on the water of lake Michigan. Great food & drink. The decor takes you back in a classy way. Old Fashions & Brandy Alexanders are a staple. I personally love the chicken or steak Oscar. My husband loved the ribs, and the Weiner schnitzel was delicious.

Great location with wonderful views of the lake. Service and staff were great. Highly recommend the mussels, make sure you stir to get the excellent sauce, and the prime rib was delicious. Make reservations several days in advance if dining in weekend evenings, they do fill up.

First time at Hob Nob. Enjoyed the patio with the lake view. The indoor seating was nice, our server was Linda she did a great job. We tried many appetizers. The cheese bread was ridiculously good, We also had stuff mushrooms, snails, and calamari. Mushrooms were my second favorite. I had the French onion soup, which I liked, and my main dish was the chicken with lump crab and asparagus. Hubby had a ribeye which I didn't get a picture of, another person at the table had a filet which I did take a photo of. My meal was ok, not much flavor. His steak was good. We had dessert drinks, they were very large and different. The liquor was poured over them, not blended through. They weren't bad, just different. 3 stars on the atmosphere because of a refrigeration mishap that was happening. We know this because the bar tender scolded our server because she wasn't picking up our ice cream drinks fast enough. As a business owner myself, I would not want my staff doing that with a room full of customers. We would return to try different entrees.

Food AMAZING!!!! View AMAZING! Service needs improvement. Went 1/2 my meal without ANYTHING to drink even though I asked waitress for more water early on….never received til after dinner was done.🤷🏼‍♀️ Waitress overcharged on several items and she clearly did NOT understand even though manager removed charges. Fish fry comes with soup. I ordered additional baked onion soup for $7 from appetizer menu (as well as the clam chowder that came with meal). She charged me $7 for baked soup(totally fine) but also charged for $3.50 up charge for same baked onion soup. My husband just wanted to deduct $3.50 from her tip BUT since she new… I truly just wanted her to understand her confusion. Nope…big mistake…she still didn’t understand; she still insisted I was wrong even though manager understood. Could truly care less about $3.50 just thought it was a teachable moment. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Yikes…. Also overcharged for twice baked potato even though potato came with meal but didn’t even attempt to explain that to her. Not worth the effort . Thanks for amazing meal and view. Will be back…just hope for a more astute waitress.

My boyfriend took me here. We enjoyed 3 drinks, Appetizer and 2 entrees for around $130. It was very reasonable for the portions. He had the stuffed pork chops and I had the prime rib. The prime rib was very tender and cooked to perfection. His pork chops was delicious. We got to be seated near the window to view the lake. The servers were very helpful and fast. I can't wait for my next visit.

We had a great view of the lake, they have amazing food! Definitely not rushed type of dinner. Prepare to spend a couple hours here while enjoying your drinks and food. So well worth it

Lake Michigan views, great food & service that can’t be beat in an iconic supper atmosphere is well worth the drive! Choose a wine from their extensive wine list or begin with an Old Fashions. The garlic bread appetizer comes with the server’s table side presentation. The 13 oz cut Prime Rib was a very generous portion and delicious! If getting an Ice Cream after dinner drink, plan on sharing as they are huge!

Not inexpensive but worth it. A classic Wisconsin supper club experience. Fantastic brandy a bourbon Old Fashioneds. Perfectly done (med rare) steak. Crab cakes that Maryland would envy. Great service. Perfect ambiance

Wednesday night birthday dinner.: We were seated promptly in a booth as requested in our reservation. Unfortunately it was next to a large group of drunk obnoxious men. They were so loud our party could not hear each other speak. We probably should have asked to be moved but didn’t want to make a fuss. The food & service by LILY was excellent as always. Dinners come with soup, salad & rolls. The cup of onion soup was barely warm, yet it was delicious. The chicken rice soup was tasty. Spinach bacon salad was on point. We had two filets cooked perfectly—medium rare with mushrooms, whitefish & tournedos of beef tenderloin—which were exquisitely tender. One in our party had never been to the Hobnob & was quite impressed with the whitefish. After dinner be sure get the Brandy Alexander—get 4 spoons, it’s HUGE. This place opened in 1954 & has still got it!

A traditional "Supper Club" food is always great! On the high price side, but you never go away hungry & more food than I can eat in one sitting. Great French onion soup, & calamari is so tender & cooked to perfection, prime rib is excellent & cooked perfectly, Love this place, been going here for 30 some yrs now, beautiful view of lake Michigan in the daylight, get there early for that view!

Eclectic atmosphere with delicious food and service. Definitely get a reservation and don't expect a fast meal. This is more of a European style where each item (soup, salad, entree) are brought out individually and you aren't rushed. Excellent cocktails.

A visit to Hobnob is always a step back in time - and in the best way. Unique decor and lakeside views give this supper club a warm and cozy 1960s feel, and the food's always a hit. The salmon's popular at our table, and the crab cakes and Friday fish fry are delicious as well. One of the rare places that offer you soup AND salad, so you're guaranteed to leave feeling full! Do make a point to come over the Christmas season as they pull all the stops with the holiday decor in the lounge/bar area as well. Live music on the weekend adds just the right amount of ambiance as well!

It was a special evening. Atmosphere was comfortably elegant. Service was perfect. Food was great. This is not an inexpensive restaurant. Know that going in, but our enjoyment was absolutely commensurate with the cost. BTW, I had the chopped sirloin. It was huge and better than I could have imagined.

Hobnob was a delightful return to days gone by. An old school fine dining atmosphere combined with the casual and friendly spirit of a Wisconsin supper club brightens your spirit the minute you walk in. The view of the lake if you are lucky enough to have that (and they are set up so a lot of people do) just adds to the delight of the evening. The French onion soup was perfection smothered with cheese, My schnitzel was wonderful and a surprise offering to me while Deb's steak seemed to thrill her as well. And the Brandy Alexander, well that was a decadent delight beyond description. I have no idea why I haven't been here before but that streak is over and I will make a point of being back soon.
