Atrium space was good for our baseball team and pool was decent. I realize this hotel was "under construction" but what we saw was not construction, just laziness. Coffee machine broke for 2 days, no coffee. Breakfast was the exact same for 5 mornings, same biscuits and gravy and muffins. Only 1 ice machine on the first floor functioning, and 1 functioning elevator. Lots of water damage to the ceiling, and a ceiling tile ended up collapsing in the hallway and was left there for 3 days with a bucket underneath and a wet floor sign, so that smelled of bad mold. The last 2 nights, large groups of people would show up to swim and use the hot tub, and then walked right out of the door. Clearly not guests, just came for a nightly hang out spot. Staff friendly but clearly management cares very little about the look and cleanliness. Hotel has great potential but seriously lacks care from management.

Under new management, not sure if it's for the better. Disappointed that the hot tub was closed (again). They tried to update the rooms, but they still seem dated. They have a cool water art thing by the pool, but never refill the water in it, so it's half empty. I love the idea of soap/shampoo refillable bottles in the shower, but the holders for them are cheap and falling apart. Still, overall for the cost, it is a good value and I will stay here again. A couple management tweaks could make a big difference.

We’ve stayed there before, but they have since changed, hands and remodeled. The inside was fresh, new and modern. Unfortunately, the pool was closed and we were there, but they gave us access to a meeting room as a mends. The drain was slow in the tub which is a little gross. The rate was very reasonable.

This hotel was OK. The rooms were so outdated and not aesthetically pleasing at all. The browns need to go along with the gold and maroon curtains. We stayed here for our wedding night, so at least it was cost effective. It’s in a super annoying area in Brookfield… lots of construction at the moment. The pool was nice but so many kids - even at 10pm?? Weird. I was able to use the hot tub Monday night without disruption and it was great. Overall, it’s a place to sleep and the air worked but wouldn’t stay there again. The front desk girl was not friendly to us whatsoever and didn’t even know where the ice machine was located…

Management has a lot of work to do in this facility. The building is in terrible shape. The roof is leaking. Parts of the ceiling are literally falling. The hot tub is luke warm. Equipment is failing everywhere. Half (if not more) of the water fountains don’t work. Few of the ice makers worked. None of the coffee makers work. Most of the normal breakfast items are out of stock. The coffee offered during breakfast was at least 2 days old. Most of the items offered in the welcome area were out of stock. Our room had one decaf coffee k-cup supplied. We ran out of facial tissues the first day and, when I asked for more at the front desk, they where out of stock. The staff is frustrated and not happy. They did their best to do their best, but seemed to be fighting an uphill battle. I would love to return to this facility in a year and experience something better, but I’m not confident that will happen with Holiday Inns current operating model.

My family stayed here Labor day weekend. We stayed in a one bedroom suite. The room was great! It was very spacious and had a wet bar with a mini fridge and microwave. The pool area was great for kids. Their was a strong odor of marijuana in the elevator, but not the hotels fault. There is an electronic safe in the room but it was not working. The lady at the front desk stated she has no idea how to fix it. Since we enjoyed our stay, we decided to book again the next weekend. We tried to book at the front desk but we were told we needed to book on line. So we did. When we checked into our 1 bedroom suite the next weekend, we weren't as impressed as our first stay. The room had a very strong musty odor to it. The carpet in the bedroom was so wet our socks got wet when we walked on it. It appeared the AC Unit was leaking all over the floor. They did eventually give us a different room. That night, there were multiple people smoking marijuana right outside the main entrance. There was a large birthday party taking place that night also. There were about 20 kids that were running around screaming most of the night. The kids were also in the pool past closing time and the staff did nothing about it. The next morning, the kids got into the pool again at about 730am, even though the pool was not open until 9am. Once again, staff did nothing. The kids were very disrespectful and made a mess throughout the pool area and lobby. The parents checked out of the room around 11am but just placed all of their luggage on the tables in the pool area and allowed their kids to continue swimming and making a mess everywhere. Once, again the staff did nothing. After the kids all left, I informed the front desk that the pool area and bathrooms were trashed by the kids. The gentleman at the desk stated, "they need to accommodate everyone." Nothing was done to clean up the mess. This would be a great hotel if the staff would enforce the rules they have in place and not allow a large group of people (who are no longer guests at the hotel) to take up all the tables with luggage and mess up the pool area and bathroooms. My family will not be staying here again.

Overall a very good place to stay for a fair price. Atrium/pool area is great. Especially if you have a group you're traveling with and want some space to get together. Late night check in was a breeze. Room was very nice (appeared recently renovated) and exceptionally clean. My only gripe was the weak continental breakfast. Toast, juice, and cereal were the only options.

I loved everything about this hotel except for the pool and hot tub situation. The pool heater was broken, so the water was freezing. The hot tub boiler was leaking, per maintenance, so the hot tub was freezing. They have IHOP on site, so breakfast was delish, but the wait on a weekend is long.

My experience at this hotel was a real disaster. Not only did I find bed bugs in the room, which is unacceptable, but I am also amazed at the lack of professionalism and care on the part of the staff. I have tried to reach out repeatedly to resolve this issue, and the fact that they have not responded is absolutely unacceptable! This place completely lacks hygiene and customer service standards. I am outraged by the lack of attention to my complaint and expect an immediate explanation. "This hotel needs to take urgent action to improve or face the consequences of a fully deserved reputation!"

First impression was pulling up to the check-in area with some very loud people yelling obscenities to each out outside a car without license plates. Other folks were coming in and out of the hotel to the car for short periods of time. Check-in person was nice. She did her best to find us a room for our party and floor preference. Room type was unavailable and floor preference was good enough. Walking to our room, the pool area was very loud with significant illegal drug odor. 1 of 2 elevators were operational. Rooms were considerably outdated in need of significant detailing. However, the plumbing was operational and the air conditioning was cold. TVs and plug-ins were fully functional. The hideaway bed mattress was absolutely disgusting. There were blood droplets and brown/yellow stains. There was no protective cover or even sheets available in the room. We called the front desk for a different room. Unfortunately, she couldn't move us to a requested room as it "smells like smoke and no one wants to stay in there". They delivered some extra sheets and a blanket so 1 of us could at least sleep on the couch. Morning breakfast was pitiful. I saw bread next to a toaster and a 1/2 gallon, clear water jug 1/2 full of cocoa pebbles! Location was convenient for our needs and staff did the best they could with some obviously terrible management. Otherwise, I would highly recommend against staying here.

No toilet paper in our room, no coffee nothing. The lights didn't work next to the bed, outlet didn't work. There was no breakfast of any kind available, even tho it states they have a Continental breakfast. The pool was freezing and the hot tub was just as cold. The only thing stated on the website was the hot tub was not working and that's at the way bottom of the site. My husband didn't book directly thru them. I've booked with other places non directly and they've informed us of what services aren't available there and ask if we still wolf or to go thru with booking. Not to mention I was lied to and told the hot tub was good just the pool was not heated when I called just after 8p.m. I will never again book here. Family was coming for a funeral and had to redirect about 25 people sadly. I was given a number to corporate but that's not looking to be an accurate contact. Beyond frustrated is a huge understatement. Off season or not all guests should get what they paid for. The Bed was the only decent thing if we only could've been warmer. I had a throw blanket I had to bring of my son's from the car!!!
