The service and the environment were pretty great. However, I couldn’t say the same about the food we ordered. Weird and poorly made beetroot soup with dumplings, dry, stiff and overly flourly potatoes pancakes. Strong feelings of regret just after finishing the meal. And , of course, waitresses don’t speak English, which is not surprising- we’re in Poland afterall!:) Maybe it was a wrong meal choice, but I would definitely look for an alternative place to eat on the way Warsaw-Krakow…

Food quality has gone down since the days before S7 opened here bypassing Dobrut. Huge portions with mono glutamine enhancing your umami in most dishes are served here at pretty low prices by friendly but a bit bored staff. The place now feels more like a forgotten food joint on way to/from Warsaw than a proper, good local restaurant once visited frequently. Still, sadly this may just be the best place between Radom and Skarżysko... There is a playground outside and a kids corner inside. Payment by credit card no problem

Our favorite journey food stop for years. However sometimes one need to wait few minutes for food but the starters and the soups to attract first hunger are served within minutes. All portions are big and filling. The quality are generally above average for such journey food stops.

A place we passed by many times while frequenting the adjoining route no. 7. Parking lot always filled with cars, seemed like a popular place, and we finally stopped by for lunch. Inside it looks like what you’d expect judging by the outside - heavy wooden seating, tables and lots of artifacts to make it resemble a peasants’ hut - not too overwhelming. Pleasant and kind service, we ordered at the bar - they do speak some English and take card payments - and received our orders pretty quickly upstairs. Portions are very large, not unexpectedly, and for the amounts we got, prices were very reasonable. Well prepared meat, soft-cooked cabbage, tasty white borsch with a sizable piece of sausage inside. Only the bread that came with our pork fat (smalec) could’ve been better, while we got pretty plain, white bread there. Overall, we left satisfied and if that’s your type of cuisine and setting, you should be too.

Best place to eat en route Warsaw-Krakow, I like the soup and the foods and also the atmosphere as well. It can get very crowded for obvious reason

Typisch einheimische Küche, deftig aber gut und günstig. Bestellt wird an der Theke, dann aber von KellnerInnen an den Tisch gebracht. Sehr beliebt bei einheimischen, also keine Touristen-Abzocke
