We recently visited Castle Czersk, also known as Zamek Książat Mazowieckich, and it was an amazing trip back in time. The castle is in the pretty Mazovian countryside and is like a living museum, showing the history and grand buildings of Poland. When we got close to the castle, we were impressed by how big and important it looked, surrounded by greenery and a peaceful moat. The outside of the castle has cool old details, like fancy bricks and medieval stuff, making me feel like I was in the past. The people who worked on fixing it up did a great job keeping it real and historical. Inside, the castle is like a museum where you can learn a lot about Polish history. They have interesting exhibits about the Mazovian princes, showing their stuff like old tools, weapons, and clothes. The layout of the castle is big, but it's easy to walk around and see all the different rooms. One of the best parts of my visit was the Great Hall. It's a fancy room that makes you feel like you're back in the old days with high ceilings, cool tapestries, and a big fireplace. The attention to detail in fixing it up is impressive, making it feel like the castle's prime time. The castle is in a good spot, and if you climb to the top, you get amazing views of the land around it. It made me realize how strategic the castle was for defense and talking to other places. The guides at the castle were super helpful. They knew a lot and told interesting stories, making the visit not just about looking at things but also learning cool stuff. They were happy to answer questions and talk with us, making the visit fun and educational. In conclusion, my visit to Castle Czersk was like going on a magical history journey in Poland. The careful fixing up, interesting exhibits, and the pretty surroundings make it a must-see for anyone who likes history or just wants to explore. Zamek Książat Mazowieckich is a special place full of culture, and I left feeling really connected to Poland's past.

Mixed feeling really. It is a great location and landscapes that you can see from the top of the tower. However, the castle ruins itself are not using its potential, and so the visit was somehow boring.

An interesting place with a nice picnic lawn and activities for kids. A bit chaotic climbing the towers. Good information boards if you can read in Polish. Not sure I would visit again. Perhaps with a guide who can tell you more about the history.

A very lovely castle with almost all the body intact. It also offers a very great view. The little shop in front also have lots of keepsakes for medieval obsessed fans.

Tranquility in a medieval environment. Picturesque and wide views 😍. Dogs 🐕 allowed, entrance 4 euro. Worthy to visit and only 50km from Warsawa.

Castle ruins with interesting history. You can visit two of the three towers, one is round and the other one is the gate tower just remember to watch your steps in the staircase and don't hit your head. The courtyard is empty because the buildings were burned down by Swedes in the 1650s. Ticket prices are pretty cheap regular is 16 pln and reduced is 11 pln. They also sold some magnets and other souvenirs. I would recommend visiting this castle if you are interested in history / old architecture.

Brings back memories from childhood and in the week it's empty - good for a picnic. I would recommend visiting for one of the events, as otherwise it's 2 towers and grass. The view from the top is quite nice but lacks any special sights. It was a nice day trip but wouldn't visit again, maybe on a weekend.

A good experience for someone who are really into Poland history. It's a quick tour! I really like it and you can explore the entire castle in around 40 minutes. There is cards in English, so if you don't speak Polish, don't worry.

Lovely place to visit. Nice tower and duke’s chair to sit. Exceptionally good German shepherd dog on the entrance.

Nice place for a bike trip. Tickets for cyclists are cheaper ;) and there is a lot of place to lock a bike next to an entrance. You can enter one of the towers and its a perfect view point. There is also a food truck next to the castle if you are hungry after your visit ;)

Nice restored castle. But when I was there there were few activities, and bad parking

Good place to go for a short city break. Castle is closed in certain parts which might be interesting to explore. It has nice farms and a small lake around for a walk 😊

A Castle of nearly a thousand years. The earliest land of the CISFRA nation was in the Polish. It's a very good history museum.

Really great place to visit, you are left alone to roam around those historical walls. Super cool. Highly recommend 🙃

Beautiful historic place, with its genuity in atmosphere and breathtaking views especially during fall, as the leaves change their color 🥰 definitely recommended

Lovely place for family picnic. Lots of attractions during holidays (knight tournaments and so on) can get crowded then. On regular days and weekends is quiet.

A good get away from Warsaw for a day trip. Summer is the best time to visit.
