I had come to this page to give my review when I found this shocking remark by someone. Both my parents have got operated here and I have been to the hospital several times. No one has ever taken the mobile phones of my parents to give a rating or a review. Rather my parents asked me to post an excellent review as they are very happy. I don’t stay in Odisha but I am so happy that all my family’s eyes are in safe hands. Please stop spreading such falsehoods would be my request.

I read the review regarding Dr. Mishra being rude to his patients before I went in as an attendant with my mother, and for a good 20 minutes I observed him talking and handling the patients in the OPD. And I would strongly disagree with whatever has been put here. He is not rude, he is straight and frank, at times curt with people who deserve it. If a patient has been asked to do something and he or she hasn’t done it or hasn’t shown compliance to treatment or follow up, he gets a little rough. But we as responsible citizens should D understand that the curt behaviour is for the benefit of the patient, because Dr. Mishra is also offering extra chair time for the purpose. 3 patients also gave the feedback that after the doctor’s strict and frank talk in the last visit, the treatment and follow up has been very regular and they also get to see the results. I think a person can be this frank only if he has deep seated knowledge and is confident that he isn’t doing anything wrong. Responding to non compliance amicably may at times be like sugar coated toxic substance and it benefits none.

I had a Cataract operation in this hospital on 10th Jan.24. No doubt Dr.A.Mishra and other staff are very good except TPA staff. They are harrassing and demanding more cash before the last approval comes.
