So many bedbugs!!!! Staying in this hotel during our trip was the biggest mistake. The room was full of an unclean smell. When you enter the lobby, you will think that the hotel is relatively new, but in fact they were remodeled in an old hotel. When you enter the room and observe carefully, you will understand what I mean. The whole family was woken up by bedbugs bites in the middle of the night Forced to change to another room, the hotel manager didn't apologize until we left. I do not recommend this hotel for everyone, especially families with children.

Beware, you can not turn left on that red light by the close Burger King. Dont remember the direction, but if the Home 2 is on your left, you can not turn left coming down the highway. The staff here is great. The rooms have all the amenities from microwaves to the gym. There is not much diversity in the restaurants around here.

My review is long overdue. My family and I stayed at this hotel for over a year while our house was being renovated (we never imagined we’d be there that long!). The entire staff is fabulous and went out of their way on many occasions to help us out and make our stay a pleasant one. I can’t say enough about how great they were to my family. During our year there we had a few minor issues which were expeditiously corrected without any hesitation by management. The hotel itself is in a wonderful location, close to the train/turnpike/parkway, many stores and some great restaurants (the best pizza in NJ is right down the street). There’s ample parking, laundry facilities, a small but well outfitted gym and and an excellent little outdoor area with grills and a fire pit to hang out at. The entire place is extremely clean and well maintained. The rooms are a nice size—have cranking air, comfy beds and a kitchenette well stocked with many basics. While I’m happy to finally be home, I miss my buddies at the front desk, Lina and Maria. Don’t believe the negative reviews because they are wrong! Thanks again Nader for the hospitality.

The rooms are nice and comfortable. The staff are nice. We stay here every time we visit. The only issue is that their pool has been out of service each visit whereas everyone else has opened their pool back up but they want the same amount of money. They should offer cheaper rates if they are not allowing people to use the pool.

Let me start by saying that the staff are amazing - very professional, attentive, and hard working. They were amazing. But the building needs updates. I've stayed in Home2Suites in other locations and expected the same Hilton quality but was disappointed in the state of the building. Hopefully this location will get some updates soon so that the building matches the amazing quality of the workers.

I wanted to give a little peace and quiet on Thanksgiving so I booked here. I absolutely loved it and will stay there again. Everything was super clean and the front desk staff was absolutely beautiful. I loved the rooms and how courteous and hospitable staff was.

I do like this hotel and location, however the state of the bathroom was disturbing this trip as far as no cleaning in the weekend, the raggedy shower curtain and dead bugs inside the light in the shower. The personnel are always great, and no reflection on them. I think overall the hotel needs to make an investment to do better with the things so mention that would matter to most people. Kitchenette was great, but no roll of paper towel (which I thought every hotel provides-like the 1 extra roll of toilet tissue). It’s the little things that they can fix and make me give them a 5….easily.

Upon checking in right at 3pm, we noticed the room was unusually hot. We tried to adjust the AC unit, but despite adjusting the temperature and turning to the "high" setting, very little airflow was coming out. The heat in our room was made worse by the wall AC unit in the hallway right outside our room blowing what was clearly hot air (despite it being the middle of summer). The bathroom also smelled like a dead rotting animal or something. I called down to the front desk and asked them to switch us to a different room, and they put me on hold for quite a while. Instead of answering my call that was held, they sent a technician to the room who basically just tapped on the AC a couple times and said 'it's fixed". Well, it wasn't, and I let him know that. In the meantime with my call to the front desk still on hold, my wife went down to the front desk at which point they tell her there are no other rooms available, and that everyone else is all checked in already. I knew that was a lie because we checked in right at the start of check in and saw no one else in the lobby. After we both argued with the front desk, they finally said they could move us to the room right above us (guess they did have other empty rooms after all), and the reason they didn't want to move us to a different room earlier was because we booked through Priceline, and that "3rd party websites get the worst rooms". Fortunately the new room had a working AC unit and no dead rotting animal smells, but we only got to that point of getting a new room after so much unnecessary arguing and added stress for my wife and I. The kicker is when we were eating breakfast in the morning, I noticed they have a big sign hanging up with their "Home 2 Guarantee" stating "We guarantee an engaging experience and clean, comfortable accommodations. If you aren't completely satisfied, let us make it right or that night's on us." Doesn't sound like the staff is abiding to this guarantee, especially when they blatantly lie to their guests. I can't stand liars. It's so disrespectful and unappreciative for the staff here to lie to their guests. My advice: If you're staying in the area, avoid this hotel like the plague.

The hotel is fine. Nothing special, but nothing bad. The staff is friendly and very kind, for NJ standards. The room is spacious, the furniture is in good condition even though old fashioned black, maybe too many colors all together, but it's just a matter of taste. Still carpet on the floor... . Why leave a one star review? Mattress zero (you will dissppear into its sinkhole) + plastic sheets zero( Great for wrapping food but not to sleep upon.) You pay for sleeping... good luck with that.

My kids loved the hotel and we found it spacious with 3 kids. It allowed us to store food and reheat. The breakfast was of great quality. The staff was awesome as well. Very professional and very nice.

Love this place. It's clean and welcoming. My husband and I went to a funeral and needed to book a room. He chose Home2, and I wasn't disappointed one bit. From the parking lot to the entrance, up the elevator to the room was clean and smell refreshing. It is close to a lot of restaurants and gas stations, Walmart is just a few blocks away. This will be our spot next time we visit NJ.

Nice hotel, I needed somewhere to stay for a couple of nights when my flight was canceled. I had a good sized room, great amenities in the room. The hotel is in a decent location, I was able to walk to a nearby mall for supplies. The breakfast was substantial and tasty. The staff were nice and polite and the hotel was clean and quiet.

I stayed at this location for about 2 weeks while working in the area, rooms were nice , spacious, amenities great. Staff was wonderful especially Victor he was extremely helpful from providing take out food options to booking my cab to the airport when I was leaving. Means a lot to have helpful friendly hotel staff when away from home for work. I would certainly stay here again.

Overall, I was unfortunately unimpressed with my stay here. The room is quite large with a good sized kitchenette, but the bed and bedding (pillows, sheets, duvet) are old and worn, leading to unrestful sleep, and the couch was very worn and old as well. There was also green toothpaste left on the counter from the previous guest that had not been thoroughly cleaned.

The staff at this location are the absolute best. Vic greeted me with a huge smile, and he was very very friendly. The evening staff was just as friendly and helpful. My room was clean, but it wasn't worth the amount I paid for a one night stay, it was over $250. Unfortunately, my stay wasn't the best due to children being on the top floor running around until 3AM. The evening staff was very helpful, but I was unable to sleep and the hotel was booked. The location is off of a very busy highway, so the sound of cars didn't help my situation.

The hotel is like any other Home2 Suites EXCEPT... the color scheme had me feeling like I was starring in a horror movie! The decor is kind of dim and dark. I kept checking king behind me as I was walking to my room! The floor in the shower had a massive air bubble under it. So, showering was rather noisy every time you take a step. The mattress on the bed could have used replacing. The buttons on the television remote are rubbed off so it was difficult to know which buttons were which. Overall, my stay wasn't bad. My room itself was clean. Hopefully the powers that be will see this review and consider brightening up the place!

I checked out today after my extended stay with my son. I very much enjoyed the time spent here. The service at the front desk was amazing. Everyone is very lovely. The room was spacious and clean. Housekeeping was great. My only issue is not the hotel itself but sometimes other guests may be too loud late night. The front desk will definitely reach out to them.

I had a very pleasant 3 night stay as I was there for business. I tried to extend my stay but there was no availability as their rooms had sold out. I will certainly be looking for availability in the future when I'm in the area. My suite had everything I needed, the room was cleaned very nicely, all of the linens were clean, all of the common areas were bright and welcoming and also clean. They also offer a nice breakfast every morning For grab and go or sit down which I appreciated. The front desk lady was very nice and accommodating accommodating and all of my needs were met promptly. I would recommend This hotel in Rahway Jersey.

The room in this place is horrendous. We had a long day driving from Boston and decided to stay in New Jersey for the night. As we first entered and open the room door a baby roach came crawling out into the hallway from under the door. We thought that maybe there was just one in the room, but decided to sleep with all the lights on and we had to close and open our luggage’s every time we needed something because we were afraid to let one hitchhike home with us. Also making sure to seal/close all purses and bags we had. Big hassle and a big inconvenience. Well late into the night my daughter had to use the restroom and found another baby roach. Disgusting. The blanket and pillows are pathetic. This place doesn’t even have a safe. The room is very spacious and well laid out. Also plenty of drawers. I give them that. I would never ever come back to this place ever again. I’d rather sleep in my car next time. Owners need to do something to deal with this problem. Or at least change the name to a motel because it’s not up to par with home 2 suites by Hilton.

My stay here was absolutely excellent, Vic at the front desk checked me in swiftly and informed me about all the hotel had to offer with a smile. Room was both spacious, welcoming and cleaned to high standard. Overall very happy with the staff, room, and over all experience. 8.5/10 would absolutely stay here over any hotel in the area come next trip. Will not find better bang for buck….. Buffalo Wild Wings less than 5 minutes away with great deals for dinner!

It’s been very long time I stayed outside of home and felt like I was home. The staffs are highly professional and friendly. I can’t imagine staying 23 nights without complaining of anything. Breakfast is excellent, amenities are functioning right and well maintained. I look forward to stay there again.

The room had some water stains on the ceiling and walls were very thin where we could hear people walking in room above us and talking next door. However, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the bed was comfy, and it was conveniently located off 95 with minimal road noise. The continental breakfast was okay, but not good for kids under 3. We most likely will not stay here again.

The hotel manager and another staff member were very rude to us, accused us of stealing water from the gym, and even prohibited us from taking anymore of it as they were did not order enough to meet the demands of their guests. Besides that, the rooms were fine and the breakfast was nice. There were signs saying that pets were allowed, but only on the first floor. We discovered that this was not the case because we saw pets coming to other floors as well and staying there. This would be bad for anyone with pet allergies.

Great hotel, Very clean, quiet and safe. 2nd time at this hotel ,Vick and the entire staff go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and have everything you need. I travel to the NJ/NYC area on a regular basis and this is my new go to hotel.

The rooms are nice size. Very clean, I like the lay out of the rooms. Almost like a little apartment.

This hotel was amazing. The room had the perfect accommodations for my family of four. The continental breakfast was great every day and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I totally will be staying here again.

The room had a little kitchenette and a couch that allowed for a living room which made they stay very enjoyable. A small pull-out table functioned as a card table and dining table. The gym is nice and they even have laundry ($1 wash $1 dry). The breakfast is definitely on the better end of hotel breakfast and their snack bar had s nice selection as well. All the staff we interacted with were nice. Would absolutely stay here again.

Room, halls, and lobby were clean. Checking in and out was easy and fast. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Location is great - easy access to Rte. 1 and 9 which will take you anywhere you need to go.

Rooms are Hugh, can easily fit five adults with no problem. Clean rooms, staff was friendly. Location was off a major street/highway with not so easy access.

We drove from Indiana to New jersey for a family visit and i was traveling with my 17 year old autistic son who likes things to be static.. I could not have asked for a better hotel. Vic at the desk checked us in and was the best.. The breakfast was only till 9 each day i was there so i went down and brought it back up to the room.. i just wish they had trays.but it was really a good breakfast. the food staff was also really nice. I had the most interaction with Vic and i think her name was maria. they were so helpful with suggestions and help. I bugged them alot and they were really kind. Some reviews said things were dated and oh well cant be perfect. The room was almost too clean. only 2 downsides.. I was in the very back of the hotel and the internet in the room kinda sucked and i needed to do a few reports for work so i did them in the lobby with no problems. and the pool was closed and it was hot the first 2 days i was there. but the exceptional service was perfect and made it all worth it. but the best part was after.. i had a very long drive back and hit storms so i called them and asked if they had a hotel near where i was since i was driving and had no place to pull over. Vic again went above and beyond the best and found one for us 45 minutes up the road and sent over our info ahead so all we had to do was go there. that was one of the nicest things ever.. when i return to rahway i will definetly we going there.. and recomending it to others..

In the room, bed was too noisy. The coffee service in the lobby was not that great. The last refill was at 3 pm, after returning to the room, you will either find the hot coffee finished or its stale/cold. When asked the receptionist to make some hot coffee, you bluntly responded to make it on your own in your room. The coffee in the lobby is finished and will not be done until tomorrow morning. The coffee service should be available in the lobby area round the clock.
