My wife and I set up a hotel block of rooms for our wedding at the Holiday Inn Clark on July 16, 2022. We worked with Lori, who went above and beyond to ensure all of our needs were met for all of our guests. She was always available to take our calls when we wanted to change/ask questions. The check in process went extremely smooth and quick. Cecilia the bartender of the hotel restaurant was absolutely fantastic for our hotel after party. We even did a group breakfast buffet the next morning in a private room that was absolutely delicious! If you are looking to stay at a hotel in the Clark area we highly recommend this hotel!!!!

The best hotel and staff!!! You can’t get any better, from cleanliness from an amazing housekeeping staff to friendliness and professionalism from front desk. Do not hesitate to stay here. The area around is safe and with plenty of shopping. It is a short distance to a main airport hub and train stop by car! If you need a hotel near airport but not in city Newark itself , this is it. If you need a hotel right off the highway, this is it. If you need a hotel to visit the city but not pay NYC prices, this is it. If you need a hotel in NJ that you can trust, this is definitely it.

I've stayed in this hotel about twice year for at least a decade. As always, the hotel is clean and fresh and the staff is polite and helpful. In the past the service in the restaurant had been good, too. But not this time. Included in my room rate was a hot, cooked-to-order breakfast in the restaurant, and I've always enjoyed a fresh cooked omelet seated comfortably at a table. This time, on Sunday there was only the barely warm food on the buffet available: scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausage only. Not the best, but at least a meal eaten comfortably at a table. But on Monday, although there was a buffet set up, I was not even allowed into the restaurant. I was told I could take a pre-wrapped sandwich out of the hotel store back to my room. Maybe to reheat in the microwave? Really? That's not what I paid for. And ... no decaf K-cups or creamers available in the room. Had to go back down to the lobby to get them. Disappointing.

Stayed here for 1 night for an event. The hotel is decent, not the most up to date but not horrible. The front desk staff was pretty friendly. The comforter on the bed was heavily soiled and they seemed a little surprised we asked for a replacement but they did oblige. My biggest issue was housekeeping knocking on our door starting at 8:30am well before checkout and coming back an hour later. We had to ask them not to come back until check out. Otherwise decent stay.

My room on six had been updated with new, very tall, beds, new vanities, new furniture and new carpet. The location for Clark businesses can't be beat, especially when you exit to the north, bypassing the traffic entering the Parkway. Breakfast buffet was good, and see if you can get a breakfast voucher when you check in, but leave a tip for the staff at the restaurant. Wedding party on the first floor, but room was quiet.

The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. I wasn’t able to take advantage of the pool or exercise area but both looked good. The breakfast was a typical continental breakfast, pre-prepared and warmed pancakes, eggs, sausage, and hash browns; apples, oranges, and yogurt. Apple juice in containers, coffee and hot water for tea - but this was provided at a cost of $15 (incl taxes) per person, which I find exorbitant. In the room there was not hot water at the sink, but the shower was warm. The room was clean and comfortable. The TV worked. I read a review that indicated there were wood floors in the rooms, but mine was carpeted. The lock at the door was repaired from what looked like a forced entry. I would stay again but I would not pay for that breakfast.

Nice hotel. It is very big and has the space to host functions there. It also has a bar and outdoor swimming pool. There is also a restaurant located there. The only downside is that the breakfast is not included and you have to pay, unlike some other Holiday Inn's. The room was very spacious and comfortable. Although it could use some updating. The wifi service was great.

Cant say enough great things about our stay at the Holiday Inn in Clark for the weekend of my high school reunion in September. The room was beautiful and Lori had even left a welcoming handwritten note. As we passed staff in the hall they were so friendly and accommodating. Wish all hotels and their staff could be this great. Truly a home away from home!

Our stay at this hotel was amazing. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. After we had a ton of airport and baggage issues, the staff did SO much to help us out, even though none of it was their responsibility! This was seriously the kindest hotel staff I've ever experienced. And the hotel itself is nice, too! The rooms were clean, the bar and restaurant was great, and everything looked modern and nice. The staff did so much to turn our terrible airline experience into a really great time. Thank you all!

I stayed there this last week and it was a very pleasant stay. I got the room on the first floor that I wanted, it's has a small fridge and microwave, very comfortable furniture, my room had a great bathroom, great water pressure in the shower. The staff was awesome the night clerk Maria is so kind and friendly. They have a small cafe on the property with a great choice of food and snacks and drinks. And a bar and restaurant if you want. It's right off the Garden State Parkway and walking distance to shopping and food stores. There is also a golf course with a great restaurant right by the shopping center. You can drive to dairy queen or a card smart for half price greeting cards. I will definitely stay there again when I'm in the area.

Me and My Husband spent a Weekend at Holiday Inn Clark, N.J . For Starters the Location was Perfect! The hotel is Extremely Clean & Comfortable . Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the Amazing Manager Kathy ♥️ ,She made our stay more interesting with her advice & tips about the Town,Supermarkets,Shops ,Restaurants and Bars that are within walking distance. It's a true sample of excellent hospitality. Me and Hubby soaked up some Sun Poolside, followed by some drinks by the Patio. We had such a great time. Thank you again to the Manager Kathy and Front Desk Receptionist Sunny for going just that little step extra to make our stay Amazing! Would definitely recommend this hotel to Everyone! 5 Stars!

A group of 25 of us stayed here while on a tour. Sonny, the night clerk was super friendly and helpful. The chef and staff were always attentive at breakfast. Breakfast was delicious. It was better than typical hotel breakfast and the chef made a delicious Peruvian sauce to add a special flair to it. I was amazed to see the commercial kitchen and was told they have 2!! They do a lot of weddings and events here. The rooms were clean and loved the choice of pillows. Would definitely stay here again, if in the area.

I give this hotel a solid 3. I stayed two nights. The staff was very friendly and even came upstairs to help me with something. The amenities (outdoor pool, outdoor guest patio, and lobby area) were nice. I also liked the fact that they had a microwave & fridge in the room. It was also relatively quiet, I barely heard any noise my whole stay there. However, I was not able to use my fire stick for the tv because the hotel remote & tv weren’t able to change the input. The tub was clogged before I even climbed in, and the water stayed like that (up to my legs) until I checked out the next morning. I had to use my hand with a towel for about 20 minutes to unclog it for the next person to use it. I do however like the location of the hotel, being that it’s around a lot of food and department store options. “Ok” hotel for maybe one night, but they do have things they need to work on.

Some of the most incompetent people I've ever dealt with. Nobody who works at the hotel knew what they were doing, they were completely clueless in every scenario possible they were unhelpful as can be. You guys really need to get your stuff together it's uncomprehensible how you're running a successful business. I waited in the lobby for almost an hour so they can get a manager to come reverse a charge that was accidentally charge on my room at 12:00 midnight while I was asleep. I have status with this Hotel chain and I tell you I will go and exclusively never stay in IHG properties because of this EXPERIENCE. DO BETTER GUYS!!

This hotel was in a great central location for a trip. It was clean and the staff was friendly and very helpful. The breakfast had a great selection and tasty. The cafe staff were very helpful but late opening up on Saturday by 10 minutes and on Sunday by 20 minutes. The bartender helped my vegan spouse find something to eat. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. May need to pull some of the furniture away from the wall to clean behind as we saw some ants and debris back there. They need to move the smoking area away from the front door as the smell permeates the lobby. While the rooms did not smell, the 1st floor hallway reeked of cigarette smoke. Assaulted us every time we left the room.
