Guchu pani

Tourist attraction

πŸ‘πŸ‘ I recently visited Guchu pani waterfall in Dehradun and I was completely blown away by the natural beauty of this place. The waterfall is surrounded by lush green forests and the sound of the water falling is so soothing to the ears. The water is crystal clear and you can even take a dip in the pool... People often mention cave, water, visit, Guchu, Dehradun, time, entrance,

Small space but crowded. Traffic jam due to conjested roads. Better to visit early morning or in evening during lunch time it is full of crowd and hot weather also. Better to park cars before the entry point and walk so that you will save your time. Food quality of Robber cafe is okay not good. Entry fees is Rs 35 per person

The road to reach Guchu pani/Robbers cave is very narrow so it's better to park your four wheelers (car) outside the entrance as it will waste your approx. 1 hr to reach the entrance of Robbers cave during crowded time... If you see too much visitors as you plan during holidays opt for two wheelers or cover that approx 1 km way by walking..... Now comes the question if you have to wait for long for entrance in Robbers cave ....Nooo at the entrance you will get tickets easily . It's a natural cave inside which at the end there is a waterfall you should wear shorts & slippers as water level sumwhere in cave comes near d knee level.. Water was not clean & at sum points it was stinking... It will take hardly 30 mins to go & back from cave... People were taking bath but i didn't find it's water suitable for d bath..... Only worth visiting for once.

My visit to Robber's Cave in Dehradun was a delightful experience. The natural beauty of the cave left me awestruck. The gushing water flowing through the cave, creating small waterfalls, was a sight to behold. The cool and serene ambiance added to the charm of the place. The trek to reach the cave was enjoyable, and the well-maintained pathways made it convenient for visitors. The cave formations were intriguing, and the guides provided interesting insights about the history and legends associated with Robber's Cave. Overall, it was a memorable and enriching experience, and I highly recommend visiting Robber's Cave to anyone exploring Dehradun.

Great natural location, poor cleanliness & management. Robber's Cave / Guchu Pani is the number one tourist attraction at Dehradun as it offers a scenic spot, however it's overrun by tourists, who have littered the entire place with trash. If the management is charging money for entrance, atleast they should keep the place clean of trash & develop it properly for everyone, but if so many tourists are thronging here anyways, who cares!

Worth visiting place in Uttrakhand, Dehradun. You should take your own vehicle to visit here there is walk 1-2km and take your slippers. Natural place, you can clip pictures with nature. Near food and toilet is there but charge as per area, Ticket should be required to visit. Very old Caves is there sometimes water is running though caves.

Nice little trek to falls. It can be called as mini Narrows of India. (Narrows is similar place in Utah, US, much bigger compared to Guchu Pani.)

Firstly, don't believe if anyone says there is a snake in guchu paani. Just a bluff πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ. I went there and found nothing even though people were continuously saying don't go there is a 🐍. There is a canteen also in cave if go deep down. Better to wear zip sandals. Had lot fun. 30 to 35 rs ticket.

A must see place for family. Very safe for young ones too. Remember to carry a set of clothes in a waterproof bag. Avoid jeans. Shorts r the best. Don’t worry about shoes. U get slippers on rent for few bucks. They will come to u for that. U may spend 2-3 hours while climbing uphill alongside the water stream. However, Total time required to enjoy this place is half an hour max.
