We had been looking for a place where authentic South Indian Veg and Non-Veg food is available for quite sometime. Thanks to the owners, for opening "Samburna". The place is located on the third floor with a scenic view of Mussoorie Hills. The interiors are great. We ordered Ghee Podi Dosa, Filter Coffee, Malabar Paratha and Chicken Chettinad. Dosa was crisp, served with delicious sambar and chutneys. Malabar Paratha was crisp, fluffy well complimented with lip smaking Chicken Chettinad. One can feel the authentic South Indian flavour from the Aroma itself. One might feel the food a bit spicy, but, that's where lies the essence and effect of spices, all brought from South India. I can surely say that the place is a "The Destination" for people craving for authentic South Indian food. A must visit for all. Lastly, i also thank the owners for lovely hospitality.

This place is only 5 months old, but it has made a good name for itself due to good and tasty food. I visited due to a good word of mouth as well and I was not disappointed. Their Veg Meal and Mini Tiffin are a must try. Sambhar, Rasam, Rice chutney, Idly and all other items were delicious and it showed that it cooked with care. The owners are a wonderful couple as well and great at hospitality. Must visit !

I recently tried out this South Indian spot, and I gotta say, it's a winner! The food was top-notch, and the owners were super friendly – the kind of people who make you feel at home. ✨ You know how most places serve sweet sambar? Well, not this one! Their sambar had that perfect blend of flavors. Though I only had the Mysore Masala Dosa, that one plate alone convinced me that this place serves one of the best South Indian foods in Dehradun. The dosa was fantastic, and let's not forget those amazing chutneys. 🧉 I'm definitely making this my go-to spot for South Indian cravings. 🤗❤️

One of the best places in town to savour the authentic flavours of south Indian cuisine Their menu has got a good number of options to choose from. The ambiance here does deserve a mention and the prices are as friendly as one can come across at a fine dine.

I recently tried Samburna and the moment I entered the place I was delighted by the hospitality and how polite and courteous the staff was. It felt like home. We ordered thaali with lots of dishes like rasam, Tomato pappu and podi masala, rice papad and so much more. Everything was so full of flavour and I couldn't help but lick my fingers. The pure joy of eating on a banana leaf and with your hand is unexplainable. The chicken 65 was packed with flavours. We left with the promise of returning for more flavours. You have to try out this place.

Food was amazing . But service could be better . Also we had non veg thali .which was really good . I had a really good lunch ,But i had recommended a friend this restaurant and they said that the food didnt feel fresh and simply reheated in the oven .. i felt quite embarrassed then. I think the owner come up to you to serve you and explained every food item very nicely . But on the other hand they were handling their kitchen issues very loudly and rudely . It was kinda disturbing .

Authentic South Indian vegetarian and non-vegetarian food served in a warm and pleasing ambience. The non vegetarian thali is something one must not miss. Similarly, unique dishes like kothu parotta, biriyani are drool worthy. The crockery, tables and lighting are perfect blend for the exquisite food.

This was one by far my favorite place to have authentic south indian cuisine. The flavors, aroma and the taste was so on point . Its a place that you must visit ! It has such warm vibes . The food , ambience and specially the owners were amazing. Mrs . Shweta and Dinesh made sure that we recieve each and every thing just according to our needs . We had Rasam rice , Chicken kizhi parrota , idly and Sambhar . Thank you for making our meal a memorable one .
