Went
to
eat
at
this
restaurant
in
Pacific
Mall.
I
had
ordered
patiyala
thali,
which
included
two
chur
chur
naan,
dal
makhni,
chole,
shahi
paneer,
rice,
raita
and
sweet..
Out
of
the
entire
lot
of
variety
on
the
plate
i
ended
up
gulping
down
only
dal,
rice
and
raita..reason?
For
a
person
who
likes
basic
taste
in
food,
nothing
tasted
decent
enough
to
eat..chur
chur
naan
were
brittle
and
needed
extra
pair
of
dentures
to
chew,
chole
were
like
a
watery
dal
(don't
ask
which),
shahi
paneer
was
sweeter
than
the
sweet
(may
b
that
was
the
sweet!),
Dal
makhni
was
overcooked
,
and
sweet
was
like
a
sugar
ball
(apparently
it
was
rasogolla)..raita
and
rice
were
the
only
two
components
which
were
decent
enough
to
be
eaten
without
complaining.
For
a
restaurant
like
Moti
Mahal,
which
has
been
one
of
my
favourites
for
serving
good
tasting
food,
it
was
a
bad
choice!
Moral
of
the
story,
go
for
burger
King
or
KFC
or
Pizza
Hut,
whose
recipies
are
consistent,
instead
of
being
disappointed
in
an
attempt
to
eat
something
Desi!
