A good place to spend the early hours of the morning.. or the evening time.. Can take the children also.. Due to open space, follow the Covid-19 protocol.. Lighting is not good in the evening.. so better to leave after it becomes dark.. Evening view i love it with fountains. And in morning you get a free gym experience. A quite place to rest and have a chit chat with friends. Some peoples birthday celebration destination. Easy to get snacks around and conveyance to city ends.

A small park at Azad Chowk in raipur where you can rest if you are having free time like I had my lunch there on exam day during ESE exam (2 papers).

It's not recommended for family since it have no area to walk or play area for kids. If u want to kill time can sit and relax. Once we misunderstood this with other Gandhi Udyan (located near Civil lines) which is better.

This location of gandhi udyan is not real one. This is just a small open gym ground.

The park has a lot of greenery and is also quiet big. There are swings for kids, open gym, and walking tracks apart from the lush grass lawns. It is right adjacent to the beautiful Gaurav Path and is an iconic garden. In the evenings of weekends, it is usually crowded. I used to come here when I was a kid and I used to enjoy the toy train ride a lot. It will be nice if they bring the toy train back.
