Went
to
the
eatery
after
a
gap
of
nearly
5
years.
On
previous
visits,
it
was
one
of
the
best
restaurants
for
delicious
food
in
Rajpur
road.
But
the
experience,
me
and
my
wife,
had
was
pathetic.
Since
Shravan
months
are
running,
we
opted
for
vegetarian
food.
For
drinks,
we
ordered
their
special
cocktail,
which
the
steward
was
highly
recommending
turned
out
to
be
one
of
the
hopeless
drink
we
have
ever
had.
On
the
food
front,
we
ordered
vegetarian
platter.
It
consisted
of
veg
kebabs
like
hara
bharat
kebab,
seekh
kebab,
paneer
roasted,
mushroom
kebab,
and
one
more
variety.
It
was
to
be
served
with
dal
makhni
&
lachha
paratha/
butter
naan.
The
food
arrived
sans
dal
&
bread.
Kebabs
were
not
piping
hot
but
seemed
to
be
ready
and
kept
in
the
kitchen
and
served
after
a
gap
of
15
to
20
minutes.
The
taste
was
bland,
and
we
could
not
understand
what
we
were
eating.
We
had
to
remind
them
more
than
once
that
our
dal
and
bread
were
not
served.
They
came
after
we
finished
half
a
plate
of
kebabs.
The
taste
of
dal
was
as
usual
like
kebabs
but
far,
far
better.
Nowadays,
for
5
to
6
years,
they
are
serving
liquor
there,
and
people
flock
to
have
them
with
snacks.
Lots
of
our
favorite
items
in
the
menu
have
disappeared
&
there
are
very
few
choices
left
in
vegetarian
food.
All
in
all,
our
evening
was
wasted
as
it
was
my
wife's
birthday
that
day,
and
we
were
at
Haldiram's
on
Mussoorie
Road
and
decided
to
take
dinner
here
as
it
was
raining
very
heavily
since
morning.
We
shall
definitely
not
visit
Aangan
restaurant
again.
