The Gandhi Park is a charming retreat for joggers and fitness freaks. The Park is located on the main Rajpur road, hardly half a km from Dehradun’s Clock Tower. It is opposite to Astley Hall and can be easily accessed from any part of the city. Benches are placed at various corners of the park, where many visitors sit and relax. The park also features a kid’s play area which has swings, slides and the newly introduced toy train. Health and awareness camps are also held here from time to time. Location: Dehradun (Near Clock Tower) Timings: 7 AM to 7 PM Distance from ISBT Dehradun: 7Km It remains open for all 7 days of the week without taking any entry fees.

Huge spacious park located at center of city. Its spacious, clean and well maintained, only thing its lacking is strictness towards public, anyone littering the place should be fined and harassed in public so that they keep this in mind that we should keep parks as our home and we can litter our houses but not the park. Its good.

Oldest park in dehradun. Gandhi ji statue will welcome you when you enter the park.ballon wala is standing near main gate . Water show is available during evening hours. People can walk and sit here. Lots of people come here to enjoy picnic with there family. Yoga activities are done by few people during morning hours. During weekends place is full , you have to search parking near road or parking area. Separate play area is available where toy train , trampoline, Mickey mouse is there.

Really nice for place for evening and morning walk. One of the best park in dehradun. If you park your vehicle outside the park you'll have to pay 20 rs for parking and make sure that you collect the parking receipt from them as well.

A green area in the heart of Dehradun which has become a popular destination for fitness lovers who come here for morning and early evening walks. There are vendors for juice fruits and other health drinks who come to the park early in the morning In the afternoon and early evening there are sellers of eatables balloons, toys etc. The park is closed in the evening. The park is often used as an assembly point for protests and political rallies.

It's a beautiful little park. I'd love to give it 5 stars but the prettiest places are fanced and thus unavailable. I liked the Gandhi statue.

The Gandhi Park is a lush green large garden with several trees and beautiful landscape. The park has an outdoor gym, a jogging track and swings for children. There is a separate paid entry (Rs 20/person over 5 years) to kids zone where kids can enjoy train rides, Mickey Mouse bounce, trampolines, merry-go-rounds, aeroplane and toy train rides. The train ride, trampolines, merry-go-round, etc have separate fee charged. (Approx Rs 50 per ride) There is a small cafeteria where you can enjoy snacks, tea and coffee.

Gandhi Park is located in the heart of the city, has a fountain and has been renovated over the past. Inside the park, by paying Rs 20 you can access small amusement park for your kids. Also there is a racing track near the fountain. Good place for morning walks. The only drawback is you have to pay parking charges for parking your vehicle and visiting the park. Opens at 5 A.M in the morning and closes at 7.30 PM in the evening.
