It is a very small smarak with a small garden. It is one of parks that are in Dehradun. People usually come here with children. It doesn't have any swing or other playing facilities for children. But it have a nice view of mountains. It does have some sitting arrangements. The atmosphere here is pleasant equivalent to Dehradun atmosphere. It doesn't have a fee.

This place has two obelisk structure built by the British in memory of the British officers who perished in the Khalanga war and also acknowledging the bravery of the Gurkhas. The inscription can be read on the marble plate placed on the obelisk. There are two marble inscriptions that can be found near the gate narrating the history. One is written in English and the other in Hindi.
