Please look at the quality of the food you serve to your guests. I did not like any of the non-veg dishes. Thela people serve better food than that. Some problem with the oil (even after repeated complaints), and also the quality of the meat/fish.

Hotel Madhuban needs to make a turn around to itself. In those early times it used to be a pleasure staying here but now few staffs have gone arrogant. Services have become slowest. And rooms don't have all modern amenities. Still 1 best thing with it is its location. Hope reviews matter to owners and management.

Extremely old and dated rooms. Bathroom was filthy to say the least with moss growth along all corners. The room and bathroom have a glass wall with a flimsy white curtain to cover it. All other alternative room options shown to us were equally bad. We had to look for other hotel options unfortunately.

Get place I Had my first visit but service and Sanitation was great 😃. Overall,I feel that it is a awesome 😎 hotel to stay if u r traveling to Mussoorie.

Big comfortable rooms. Excellent staff, polite and well trained. 5 to 10 min walk from various shops and salons. Good food, buffet style and also a la carte. Breakfast menu was a little mediocre. Only indian options buffet. Overall a very pleasant stay.

1. Good food - tasty and hot food is served. Few service providers were showing some tantrums and had some arguments with few other customers. 2. Good and prompt service - Staff is friendly and will answer all your queries with patience. Although you might have to ask for most of the small things like Toiletries, slippers. 3. View from imperial rooms is normal as you will see the raipur road in front and shops nearby. Location is very good and easy to reach however we could not found any good restaurants nearby. Most of famous tourist spots are accessible through personal car with proper parking space, so no need to hire taxis to travel within Dehradun. 4. Currently not suitable for kids as there is No kids area or Game room + only Free to Air channels available on TV (if whether is good) with only 1 or 2 for kids cartoon requirements. 5. Wifi is good throughout hotel but have to login back again and again. 6. Biggest upset was bathroom. The door didn't had locking system. Bath area is full glass and covered with curtains. No rods or hooks to hang any cloth, towel or for that matter even a hand towel.

Ambiance: 2/5, Service: 0.5/5, Food: 3/5 Maintenance was in progress, and I will give them the benefit of the situation. But, way too overpriced given the service they offer and the spaciousness of the rooms and the bathrooms. I have stayed for almost three days, and as per my experience, it could have been better given the exorbitant pricing they are charging. The AC was not working properly, and the TV setup box malfunction persisted until my departure. The breakfast experience was woefully subpar, and the staff's reception and cooperation left something to be desired.

Decent place to stay, beautiful property, old yet classy. It has bar, fitness centre, party hall, pretty lawns, banquet,etc. Decent rooms with beautiful view, basic breakfast buffet spread and less but courteous staff.

We stayed for 2nights. Pros: Hotel location Room size. Cons: Staff service. It is very slow. But the .ajor disappointment is the service of the staff in the restaurant is not good. They consider the job as a burden and doesn't want to work.Doesnt reply properly if asked anything nor serve properly. It definately needs a change. Also I would suggest that hire young and dynamic staff for the restaurant instead of having old ones. Also the breakfast items were not tasty and the menu was same for both the days

I will summarise my experience as under; Location- The property is situated in the heart of Dehradun with ample parking for private vehicles, and public transport available easily the moment one steps out. Reception-The reception gave an unwelcome feeling. No smiles and warm welcomes that one is accustomed to now-a-days. It appeared that the staff, from the security guard to the ones at the reception, are merely performing their duties just because they have to. Rooms-The rooms are very spacious, but poorly laid-out. On entering one has to really look around for the light switches. A typical stench of non-maintenance hits one as one enters the rooms, hinting that the rooms had not been 'aired' for ages. The layout of the rooms, despite the rooms being spacious, is poor. The linen used was old and crumpled. A hard n sagging mattress greeted me when I decided to call it a day. View from room-Mine was a garden facing room the had the view blocked by a broken pot and a mound of mud. Washroom-The same stench of 'non-maintenance greeted me in the washroom. Getting warm water from the taps too was a big struggle that was finally resolved after a few calls and a visit by a maintenance staff. A good property but poorly maintained

Had an excellent stay for 3 nights as a large group. The hotel made us feel good and put up great show. Remarkable service and ambience added to the flavour. Food was great too. All in all, a good property.

I can definitely say the worst 4 star hotel I have ever been in. It would be very hard for me to say that the staff are arrogant but rather brain dead. You have to call them thrice to get something. And I guess all the other negative reviews that this hotel has received are genuine. They just don't care about the guests. We had to pick our own luggage inside the rooms. The receptionists were least cared about anything. The rooms were messy and smelling pungent. The intercom was not working. The geyser was not working. The list can go on and on. Just a humble request to book any cheap hotel available rather than spending a handsome amount on this property. 🙏

One of the best hotel to visit in dehradun. Located on Rajpur road, which gives you an advantage to enjoy the night life of dehradun. Almost all clothing and food brands are very close to it. Hotel staff is very humble and helpful. Rooms are ultra clean and the ambience of hotel is so nice. Breakfast and dinner buffet are the ultimate treat for you taste buds. So better to opt their buffet rather than other option. Ample amount of parking space

Food- 1/5 Rooms 1.5/5 Staff- 1/5 i stayed here for two days n due to the cleanliness issues like washrooms were like hell, uncomfortable mattress, untidy beds and room even… i have changed my room thrice in two days.. what could be worse than this.. housekeeping, hospitality, ambiance everything was zero.. unfortunately wasted my money and trip too 😢spoiled my birthday too😣

One of the iconic hotels of Dehradun now lie in Shambles. Moisture filled, damp walls, dilapidated outdated rooms. Noisy ambiance (renovation work underway according to front desk), completely destroys once peace of mind. Dirty stained linens. Poor hospitality, front desk doesn't repond to requests. GM unavailable for conversation. Need of the hour is a take over by a established hotel chain.

This hotel staff is cheater they asked us to pay 4500 per night but on the day of check out they charged 5000+ taxes..they refused their commitment...Even the receptionist Sangeeta she took a used towel n told us that she got it from our room...Even though we dint use any of it...they are fraud cheaters never stay in this hotel....There are more options with much better facilities in dehradun...

We had asked them to finalise the room for 3 days@ 4500 n they agreed but on the very 1st day of our day there was construction noise we told them we want to check out but they said no n changed our room to suite even in suite room there was disturbance next morning we told them we want to check out.They charged us 5000 n refused to stand on their words of 4500 per night. Not only this a receptionist named SANGEETA suddenly took one dirty towel n said we have got this from ur room you have damaged hotel’s property.That towel wasnt ours we hadnt use it.She did that intentionally to insult us in front of everyone…That was so insulting she was even very rude to us….We told them it is not ours still u r showing us we will pay for it but she said no u pay 5000 n leave…She behaved as if she doesnt want any guest to stay in this hotel..Even RAHUL TIWARI was fraud….This hotel is cheater n fraud…

Hotel staff was humble and property is around 46 years old. Rooms are spacious with good hill view.

First hotel where I have tried all the numbers of front desk shared on their site and no one picked the call in past 2 days. Wonderful customer service. Maybe they are still using pager. Try sending postcard for reservations.

Worst Housekeeping I have ever seen in recent times. Calling again and again for clearing the used utensils, provide water and fresh towels. Pathetic Experience. Though this is repeated stay but this time it’s really bad stay.

We were travelling to Dehradun to attend the marriage ceremony of our nephew in January,2023. We were booked to stay in Hotel Madhuban by the host. Our travel plans , however, compelled us to reach Dehradun earlier than the dates on which the booking were made for the marriage ceremony. We, therefore, contacted Hotel Madhuban from Kolkata, and requested for booking of a room with a request to switch us to one of the pre-booked rooms for marriage party on the slated dates. The hotel authorities were very accommodating and not only did they willingly book us on prior dates but also offered discounts. On arrival we found the staff at front desk extremely accommodating and we checked in within no time. We were given a room on the same floor in which the pre-bookings were done and the lady at the desk informed us that we can continue our stay in the same room for the purpose of attending the marriage ceremony. This was a big plus. The room was clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. Every staff member we encountered, from the valet to the check- in to the cleaning staff, to the bar and to the restaurant ,were delightful and eager to help. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. The service was exceptional as well. Overall, we had a great experience with the Hotel Madhuban. We highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Dehradun.

The room had a bad odor, even after requesting the staff to spray the bathroom. The staff is not responsive. I requested for a dental kit and did not receive it till I checked out. The rooms are spacious but no heating. The lighting is weird with one central switch for lamps. They were not helpful to weigh our luggage either.

An luxury hotel that is past it's due date and crumbling at the edges. The hotel needs to upgrade it's rooms, furniture and fittings. Food was bland. The breakfast buffet needs to be reinvented totally. Otherwise it is a fairly good hotel with nice facilities, good service and wonderful location on Rajpur Road.
