I have visited this place when it was just started for tourist, Gariyaband forest department has came up with this nature camp to promote eco tourism with lovely tented camps, some adventure activities and food facilities for the tourists. It was handed over to private operator to run and operate this beautiful camp and provide good food, it is located quite near to waterfall and surrounded with jungle. We hope good services are provided at the camp to attract more and serious travellers to enjoy this place beyond day picnics. Hidden natural beauty with sufficient wildlife makes it place more meaningful for day visiters, overnight stay is highly recommended for like-minded people who like to do bird watching, nature photography, nature walks and explore village life. More than 120 Bird species are recorded around, with interval sightings of Leopard, Wolf, Jackal, Spotted deers and other small nocturnal wildlife. Large wetland (Tauranga) is just few kms is also good place to spend day with family, enjoy birding and photography. Overall Jatmai forest is highly Recommended for nature lovers.

Nice place overwhelmed because before visiting I was little concerned about reviews but now after I personally experienced it’s best for Nature and Food taste is very good especially dosa and panner chilli must try.

It's a good place, budding area. The food is good, rooms are clean and ambience is great. Slow service, they are a bit lazy kind off, not sure if they do this everytime, but when we visited it was like that. There was no enthusiasm.
