The Hotel is situated at a perfect location where you are not that far from the Mall Road (around 200-300 metres) and still you are away from the crowd and the noise of Mall road. The balcony rooms are awesome and the views is even more so. I loved the fact that there are trees going right through the property, this shows the respect for nature. The staff at the hotel was super nice and any request was fulfilled within a minute or two and the staff is always there for you. The food was awesome, starting from breakfast and the room orders. The owners are real nice and honest people, I had paid some amount in advance and during check out I mistakenly paid the whole amount again, later I contacted the owners and let them know the situation, they returned me the extra amount within a day after making sure the genuineness of the case. Thanks a lot Mango tree courtyard, Mussoorie for making our stay awesome and memorable.

A beautiful heritage property, nestled inside a crowded part of the city. It comes as a pleasant surprise when one enters the gates. Strangely, there is very little sound of traffic, etc inside. A friendly helpful staff, very tasty and healthy cuisine, beautifully clean rooms with attached clean washrooms, well ventilated and with all comforts one can ask for. The best thing here are the beautifully laid out gardens, huge trees in every courtyard and the tastefully and comfortably furnished rooms! The building is 125 + years old and has a lovely blue and white colour facade. The owners and Staff are helpful, friendly and cheerful. Food is outstanding! There are facilities for massage, etc too. A friendly golden retriever called Pablo completes the home - away - from - home feeling. We loved our stay here and would definitely recommend this resort to everyone.

This has been one of my worst experience ever staying at a hotel and I am well travelled across the world. The hotel did not have water in the bathroom for 2 days out of the 3 that I stayed with family. They had some problem with the motor and when it was working, none of the employees were willing to switch it on to fill up the tank. I had to personally go searching for staff in the hotel and for the most part, they were missing. I personally complained to the owner but she did not have the decency to call back with a resolution. BTW, the owner stays in the premises I believe with all the amenities. The pics uploaded on the travel sites and apps are misleading. The property needs serious renovation. Paint is chipping and furniture is old and dirty. I saw one of the guests almost toppling over from a chair and another guest complained about the same problem. Some of the lights in my room were blinking. I had booked 3 rooms. TV didn't work in 2 rooms. Ac did not work in 1 room. They only have Netflix on offer. There is no room service. You have to go down to the dining room every time. Day 1- I ordered dinner and checked in 2 hours later on the status. The person at the other end had forgotten about my order and kept on checking if I had actually booked dinner. It took them another hour to get dinner ready. The options for breakfast and dinner are very few. We literally ended up having the same food for the 3 days we stayed there. The servings of food were so small that most of the time, few people in my family of 7 did not get servings. Everything comes in small bowls. It seems the staff has been given instructions to scrounge on food, water, electricity. We had to remind multiple times to place enough cutlery, water etc on the dining table. Water taste is horrible. They could have kept bottled water in the room instead of water in old whiskey and wine bottles. When you are paying Rs.5500 for a room (comparable to 4/5 star rates) you expect basic toiletries in the bathroom like brush, toothpaste etc. Which were missing. The place does not have any generator backup and experiences frequent power cuts. The staff does not bother to clean the room. Have to remind them. Water, coffee, tea etc in the room does not get replenished. Even after reminding, they bring one bottle of water in a room with 2/3 occupants. While checking out, I again pointed out the issues to the manager. But he was willing to acknowledge the lack of water issue. He refused to acknowledge that there's any other issue in the property. He was also reluctant to give me a proper GST invoice although the amount charged by him included tax. Finally he gave me the bill when I insisted for it. Overall, this place is one of the most unprofessionally run establishments I have stayed so far and would never recommend this property to anyone.

Mango Tree Courtyard, Best place to stay in Dehradun, its quite, calm, peaceful, full of greenery, hospitality is wonderful, food is also good I specially liked the omlette toast in breakfast. What I heard is that it's a 125+ years old property converted into a stay.

One of the best experience, I didn't feel unsafe at all. The staff were courteous and smiling always. Food was amazing, light usage of spices, less oil used (I must say fresh and healthy food) While booking the stay I selected wrong dates, but the front desk manager helped me go through the process and showed me room options that I can go for, frankly all the rooms were amazing. I selected the best for myself at a decent price. Being a solo traveler I look for quite places with less traffic noise ( though the hotel is in the city but I did not hear traffic noises) that is because there set up is fantastic. I surely be visiting you again!! Thank you for the an excellent service πŸ˜‡ Regards, Ritika

I couldn't possibly believe that a property such as Mango Tree Courtyard could exist in a busy market place within the city. Aesthetically done, this property is vibrant with colors and greenery - you have to see it to believe it. To me it was a home away from home. The food ensures you over-eat, yes I did! The staff is friendly and very courteous. And that's not all - I was welcomed by the host's furry baby :) Amazing experience and I think I am running out of words to describe how happy I am. My heart is full :) Thank you!

Very quaint and minimalistic property present in a converted heritage building. The pleasing decor & bright open spaces makes it feel really welcoming. Staff was really great & we even got an upgrade in our booking. Good options for breakfast that is also included in the room booking. Lunch & dinner are also available at extra cost. It is at a walkable distance from clock tower & Paltan bazaar making it super convenient for anyone visiting those places. It is also per friendly and had a beautiful courtyard.

It was a beautiful property, well maintained. Staffs are very humble and cooperative. Morning breaking was so delicious serve with a pinch of love. Although I can say that it was totally a homely feeling for me. Hope to visit it again in near future ☺.

A period family run boutique hotel with 14 rooms. Well kept, very friendly service and most importantly, pet friendly - bring along your dogs and cats - but please pick up after them... Highly recommended...

Absolutely delightful place! Located in the middle of a bustling city, this place is an oasis. Once you enter you feel like you are transported to a quiet haven. The staff is readily available to help with anything, the bungalow is beautifully decorated, the rooms are comfortable, spacious and pretty. All the rooms are named after different species of mango – loved the cute details like this!

We visited here along with our pet dog and all of us had a grand time. The spaces are very well curated and create a cozy, comfortable atmosphere. The rooms have something soothing about them and deliver a good night's rest. The food is fresh and wholesome and cooked in a heartful way. Same goes for all the friendly faces in the team. It all comes together in a way that makes you want to keep extending your stay. Definitely coming back for a longer time!

The premise is just BEAUTIFUL! Very clean, comfortable, spacious and actually home like. Was reminded of old times with sprawling courtyard with big trees etc. Would love to visit only to stay at the place once more, probably fir a longer duration.

One of the best cottages/hotels you’ll ever visit… It wouldn’t hurt to say that one could visit Dehradun just to stay at Mango Tree Courtyard. Breathtaking ambience and interior, excellent services and amenities, warm and loving staff with sumptuous food as the cherry on top. Special mention to Arjun, the one of manages literally everything, the cook lady and other helpers who are genuinely helping and friendly.. this makes you content as a traveler and ofcourse, recommend properties like these to others! πŸ˜‡

The perfect Homestay experience. Simply loved it. Clean rooms, great food, peaceful vibes and the best thing was the ground floor rooms were cool enough even in peak summer and we didn't feel the need to switch on the AC. Great host and super friendly staff. Enjoyed every bit of it. Also, a beautiful property with great location.

Excellent place to stay in Dehradun. The rooms are nicely kept with ambience of vintage homes, that would remind you if your grandparents home. It is indeed having mango trees in the Courtyard! We were blessed to see and pluck mangoes from the trees itself with our kids. Now about the rooms, which were cleaned and very well maintained. The staff is very very courteous. Finally the food that was the best part of our stay. They have their open kitchen where you can actually go and see the preparation of delicious home cooked food. Yes, it is same as you and your mom cooks for you. Not the spicy food of restaurants! And they ask you what you really want to have as your meal. You just wish it and get it cooked... Thank you Bharti and her colleagues for making our family stay comfortable...

Please go ahead with your booking without doubt if you are travelling to Dehradun. Its a beautifully decorated property that feels like home. The host and staff are really sweet. If you are someone who enjoys the company of pets you will love hanging out with Pablo at the property. The food is great and the taste of what ever we had was on point (Nothing more nothing less). Overall it was a great experience.

Beautiful homestay in the heart of Dehradun. The staff is very attentive and make you feel right at home. The food is amazing, soulful and made with a lot of love.

Mango Tree is one of the best homestay I have ever experienced. The interiors, hospitality, food and warmth - all are on point. The rooms are very artistically decorated, so is the garden & lobby area and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. Their homemade personalized food for breakfast/lunch/dinner made my stay very memorable. The only downside is the location - it's located right in the middle of a busy market area of Dehradun, would have preferred a lil secluded area. Still, my go to place whenever in Dehradun.

The same warm feeling of a home - on a holiday! A stay at Mango Tree Courtyard is an experience which is simply beyond words to express. Me and my husband wanted a quick 4 night trip, so we visited Dehradun and stayed at this boutique gem. The rooms here are beautiful, food is delicious, and spaces throughout the hotel is done tastefully with soothing lights and greenery all around. From the moment we arrived to the time we left we felt that we were part of a lovely family which included the owners and staff. I highly recommend this property to anybody who wants to come to Dehradun!
