Not very easy to access. Ola can drop you at departures but they can't pick you up from arrivals. Thanks to arrogant taxi union. Better to book ola this will save u money, only thing you have to walk for some distance. Rest airport is awesome. If you have time and you are with your conveyance then explore the open air restaurants around. They are lit.

One of the new small and beautiful airport located very near to city center. The area has been now developing into new satellite town called Naya Raipur meaning new Raipur including government offices with great plan. The front have got good parking space along with beautification with garden and different kind of statues. Inside it has got plenty of seating, toilets, few shops and eateries and in addition a spa. Inside also beautification has been done with indoor plants and statues maintained by mostly Jindal steel. There are eight gates, four each in ground (No. 1 to 4) and first floor (No. 5 to 8). The first floor four gates are connected with aerobridge. Overall the airport is cute, neat and clean giving pleasant atmosphere for the travelers...

Arrival Process: Upon touchdown, our aircraft reached the gate quickly, and we disembarked soon after. The process flowed effortlessly, allowing us to proceed with ease. Bravo! Departure Procedure: From check-in until reaching the departure lounge, the whole procedure moved briskly, thanks to efficient handling by airline personnel. We applaud the way they managed the crowds during peak hours, ensuring everything ran smoothly. Security checks also proved expeditious, taking just a few minutes before letting us pass through, enabling us to reach our designated boarding gates speedily. Accolades! Shopping Opportunities: Sadly, here comes the worst part of our otherwise satisfying journey. The range of available items to purchase left much to be desired. Primarily consisting of tea and snack vendors, one could barely find anything remotely interesting to peruse or buy. If only they expanded the selection or introduced a wider variety of items. Sad... Seating Arrangements: To address comfort, we must acknowledge that although the overall availability of seats appeared sufficient, the quality of those chairs remained less desirable. Finding oneself sitting on hard and uncomfortable furniture might leave long-awaited travelers feeling tired or even sore from enduring long wait times before flights. Surely, upgrading these units to more accommodating and ergonomic designs would elevate customer satisfaction levels. Conclusion: Overall, the Swami Vivekananda Airport presents something of a mixed bag for travelers passing through Raipur. On the plus side, cleanliness prevails, arrival procedures run efficiently, and departures move along rapidly without delays. A small but beautiful airport. Need some upgrades in term of food courts, otherwise it's good. It has a large parking area, you can take four wheeler taxi as well as bike taxi easily from the parking. Green environment in it's surrounding adds to it's beauty. Direct flight to amritsar or jammu should be started.

It is a nice and compact airport. The major drawback is the availability of food variety and price. It is exorbitantly high for no reason. It is usually calm and less populated than any bigger airport in India.

The airport is better than my expectations, all the basic facilities are available here. Although it does not have luxurious facilities, it is good to see all the basic facilities at Raipur airport. Plenty of parking space with sufficient space at pick up and drop area.

Great airport. It tops the rank as the best airport in our country. Due to its small size it's very easy to access everything.you can get a boarding pass easily and security check up doesn't take a lot of time. I once boarded my flight to delhi 10 min before departure time 😁😁😁.

This is only International Airport in the state of Chhattisgarh, situated at capital city Raipur. I visited there on 12/08/2023 to take the flight towards Kolkata.

The distance between the raipur railway station to this airport is around 16 km. The name of this airport is Swami Vivekananda Raipur Airport, which has a great Exterior infrastructure. Compared to that the interior area is small, through very easy to access and understand. From the arrival gate, one has to pass through the secure right in front and various gates are mostly upstairs.. As standard escalators and lift is available. Only thing is there are less food outlets in the airport. Other than that the airport is quick and easy to understand and access. 1st timers will not face much hassles.

Managed by the Airports Authority of India, it has a simple check-in process. Efficient staff enables quick turn around time even for the delayed flights. A little less sitting space near the gates compared to the footfall, especially during the weekend. An airport lounge would be a good add-on. Quite close to the city(~16 km from rly station) and one could easily commute using auto as well.

Chattisgarh has only one airport at Raipur of international standard.Still it is not fully functional for international aircraft. Security is very tight there and it's a very neat and clean airport and works very systematically. Washrooms are also very well maintained.

Nice Airport will give 4 star out of 5. Little bit less Amenities, Roads to the airport are poor and less developed. Very Far from Raipur Main city. Streets lights and Well Roads are needed. Hard to find public Transport from here, better to go with the private Vehicle. You can find flight for mainly all major cities.

If compare to the most airport's in India this one is good at everything just need more shop at duty free area if you are inside the airport then you don't have much option to eat , drink or buy something other wise airport facility and management is good and experience is over all is also good..

I arrived for the first time, so I can't say much about the place. But the first impression was good and it is quite a small airport only IndiGo & Vistara operates from Delhi to Raipur. I couldn't find any information centre and there were a lot of taxi guys outside the airport. I asked one of the ground staff about the bus service to the city but there was no facility according to her. But OLA cabs work here it is cheaper than the taxis. There is an ola pickup point outside the airport. Hope it helps you.

It's a huge place with lots of amenities and services available. Innumerable eateries, multiple stores to purchase gifts of all kinds, ready to help staff of the airport and various airlines.. all in all you get a great experience.

Raipur airport has developed few years ago. It was previously called Manna is located in new premises. It looks very modern and it has lot of facilities. You have accessible entrance for ventures and also parking with the Cafe Food Court there our specialities also for pick up and it has recently been converted into an international airport for which the runway is in development. Must visit if you are in Raipur because you can also visit the Park which is in airport.

Good number of operating flight from Raipur to other states... Small but we'll maintained and cleaned airport.. Foods options are very less, only one small restaurant is available, where no main course available... Sitting facilities at airport is not so good, When you have to wait for long duration no comfortable seats available. No private lounges available. Only reserved lounge available.

There is a criminal underutilization of the resources here, the facilities are bare minimum, taxi services are one or two, aesthetics is pathetic and almost no beautification is done. The food stalls are handful and those too are unreasonable. The main atrium feels so lifeless. I think a capital airport should be much better than this.

The new terminal is just beautiful, we have been seeing and enjoyed the old airport building for many years. It feels amazing to have such an amazing terminal.
