Though the Place offers good Fish. But be careful if you are visiting for the First Time.You’ll likely get conned with various tricks you wouldn’t know. I went there to buy 2 kg Fish after Cutting & Cleaning. I was handed over the pcs that had eggs & the eggs almost weighed 1 Kg & I suppose because he knew that this is my first time he didn’t let me see the pcs & put in a bag & weighed it I called up to clear this thing so he said you should’ve looked into this before but while buying I specifically mentioned him that I’m buying it for the first time & I do not a thing about buying a fish. Guess I forgot we live by the new definition of “Trust” nowadays.

I bought Magur fish from here. After eating those magur we gat little bit loose motion but pathetic is my daughter got I'll she started vomiting, loose motion high fever. She hospitalised and still she is under doctor's treatment.

Variety of fishes available but all fishes are kept in deep ice. I think i can not get live fishes like Ruhu, Katla (Live) in Raipur. Otherwise price is also good.

Fish with Amonia and Formalin chemicals. Looks like fresh but very bad for health. You can see the decayed prawns and Hilsa with spoiled heads and sometime without eyes.But unfortunately there is no other options in Raipur for seafood. Check always for the quality otherwise easily will get cheated. Most of the time flesh of the fish will be pinkish while cooking because of the chemicals , otherwise it has to be milky white. If you keep the fish in the fridge you can experience the spoilage due to the chemicals. Be very careful.
