One of the best attractions of dehradun. This place is like mini grand canyon from USA, a small nature trail where you would be walking in river stream surrounded by mountain cave. A beautiful unique spot to visit with friends and family. They give rental lockers and flip flop if haven't carried with you. Rental charges are 10/- and entry fees is 35/- per person. Parking spaces available outside the place and some food stalls.

A nice experience. Clean and chilled water just makes your visit more refreshing. A must try. A few things to note:- 1. You can buy tickets from the gate. It's not expensive. 2. You can leave your shoes in your car and bring your own slippers. Or else you can rent slippers from nearby homes. for 10 โ‚น. 3. The rocks can be slippery, so perform caution. 4. Don't stay long until the evening/ dark especially if you are someone commuting through public transport. The place is quite remote. 5. The most annoying thing about the place is the crowd. Try to visit the place during working days. 6. There are changing rooms, but they are paid. Most of them are owned by the eateries, so they won't charge you if you buy something to eat.

This place is overcrowded and water level has no specific meter to check. Also huge risk of flash floods. Its suggested to take your own slippers or take one from the nearby shops if you don't carry one at minimal charges. You need to watch your step and the flow of water is not static. People went till end of the cave by due to heavy flow and high level I avoided it but the scenic view is good and since it's a cave so the place if cool inside. Here also you will be charged an amount while you enter the cave

Quite a great experience. I strongly believe everyone should enjoy this amazing water canal . U can easily get slippers on rent with 20 rs only and they charge 35 rs for entry. Kindly visit around 3 or 4 pm. You can face traffic problems as the road is quite narrow so kindly park the car somewhere on the main road . And quite a walkable distance between the main road and the robbers cave . Have fun guys.

This is an amazing place to visit early mornings like 7 am, so you donโ€™t get many people and get to click many photos !! There is not too much water , you can walk in it. The entrance is 35 rupees only per person. If you donโ€™t have slippers they give you on rent for 10 rupees . So better if you have space carry slippers . You can get Maggie and momos inside . Come with family or friends and enjoy the nature :) There is ample amount of space for parking of bikes and cars .

These naturally made caves are a awesome piece of nature art. Good place to explore and spend some time. Just remember to carry extra pair of clothes if you wish to enjoy in water. Water level is more in initial part then lowers down to your ankles. Multiple food options before entering the premises.

An amazing place but too crowded so you can't enjoy the place that social media shows you! Better you reach early in the morning when it opens and yes do come in slippers, chappals or sandals ... Don't come in shoes or else you'll end up paying 50-60rs to keep them in shops and yes avoid bringing the big backpacks and even if you do come with them, there are few people standing on the way and they'll do a favour of keeping your bags at their place with some 10-20rs per bag and it's safe. Robber's cave counter guy doesn't believe in online payment so keep some cash handy. Don't come back half way, complete the 2-3km water way and you're definitely going to enjoy the way. The ending place is very boring but the water way till the end is amazing.

A gorgeous place in dehradun, consisting of natural valley and flowing water. You have to walk through the water and through the valley till a waterfall comes. Along the way the views are absolutely beautiful. Also there is a quick snack shop in the way. The 1 star that I have deducted is just for the ridiculous sleeper that we have to wear, we can't go in our shoes or our own sleeper/sandals. The sleeper that they provide is absolutely pathetic and it was sliding in the water, its quite dangerous I feel as one can slip and can fall on the rocks. I don't understand why we can't take our much better shoes/sandals with us, lots of us even have waterproof shoes. Though apart from this its a must go place, it really beautiful.

The cave itself is a marvel of nature, with stunning rock formations and a river flowing through it. It's easy to see why it was once used as a hideout by a group of robbers. The park surrounding the cave is well-maintained and offers plenty of opportunities for hiking and exploring the beautiful natural surroundings. What I appreciated most about my visit was the knowledgeable and friendly staff. They provided a wealth of information about the history and geology of the cave and were happy to answer any questions I had. Overall, I highly recommend a visit to Robber's Cave if you're in Dehradun. It's a unique and beautiful place with a rich history, and the perfect spot for a peaceful getaway from the city.

I simply loved this place. One should definitely visit this place everyone including kids, young and elderly will enjoy. It's a cave with running water which you have to cross. Water would be near a feet deep, recommend to take slippers and shorts, one can get slippers on rent as well. Ticket is for Rs.35/- per person and only cash.

Awsome experience. Entry fee is Rs 35/- per person. Only cash allowed. Best for summer to dive in cold water. Beautiful surrounding. The outside area is fully covered with shops where you can eat, chill and enjoy. You can buy slippers on rent for rs 10/- to go into the water. Rs 50/- for car parking. Overall I think it's best for Summers to chill in water. Also on the weekend it's very crowded. Other than that just chilling and enjoying the view.

It's a good place to relax on weekends. It has a waterfall as well. Just there are some tourists who misbehave sometimes but there are also security local personal who takes action on time. Overall it is a great place to relax having good food outlets outside the cave. You can also get slippers on rent for just rupees 10. It have a entry fee of rupees 35 and you will also get some photographers inside the cave who can provide you some good pics stating there own prices(which are a bit high). In all it's a good relaxing place.

One of the most beautiful cave ever!! Rapids inside the cave makes you feel energized. PS: Don't go with sleepers that aren't comfortable in water instead walk barefoot, it will be an amazing experience.

Awesome! Simply fantastic. No words to describe this natural beauty. Just visit this place to experience the natural beauty. Ideal for a day trip from Dehradun. Sufficient number of hotels to have a variety of foods. Avoid winter as the water may get too cold.

Robbers Cave is also known as Gucchu Pani. It's quite popular in Dehradun. Thousands of tourists visit on a daily basis. The entry ticket is Rs.35, slipper is on rent for rs.10, lockers and clothes can be taken on rent. The water flows between two cliffs. Walking into the water stream is fun and adventurous. We need to be a bit careful while exploring the cave. My family had a great time there. It was really a thrill to visit Robbers Cave. The natural beauty of this place is breathtaking. Must visit place in Dehradun. I would advise not to visit it in peak season because of the rush. I had gone there in October and we explored it well.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting this picturesque location, and I must say, the natural beauty here is truly awe-inspiring. Nestled in the heart of Dehradoon, However, my experience was somewhat marred by the state of the small cafeteria on-site. Unfortunately, I found it to be quite dirty, with unclean tables and floors. This detracted from the overall experience, as I had hoped for a more pleasant dining environment to complement the stunning surroundings. Another issue that warrants attention is the prevalence of smoking and drinking in public areas. It was disheartening to witness many individuals openly smoking and drinking, which not only detracts from the family-friendly atmosphere but also raises concerns about public health and safety. this place as a natural attraction, I also believe that local government authorities should step in to ensure that rules and regulations are enforced. Their intervention is essential in preserving the sanctity of this beautiful location and ensuring it remains a safe and enjoyable destination for all. In conclusion, while the natural beauty of this place is undeniably its greatest asset, there are critical issues that need addressing, particularly regarding cafeteria cleanliness and the need for stricter adherence to no-smoking and no-drinking policies. With the right improvements and government support,

I liked that place a lot. It is a very nice place. You can go there with your family, friends or loved ones. If you like living in nature you'll definitely like this place. Entry tickets costs around 35 rupees each person. Talking about facilities- You can take lockers on rent to keep your things in them before going in water. You can also get sleepers on rent for going in water and on the same spot can keep your shoes there safely. There are proper changing rooms and using them costs only 10 rupees per person. It has many shops around it where you can have food and snacks. There are toilets also both for male and female both charge 10 rupees each person. There are many more facilities there.

Never visit in rainy season. The cave get overflowed with water, but the management takes their full charge at 35 rs per head. You just get to enter the gate and can't go into the cave. So don't plan this place in rainy season. Apart from this, their is a random place near the river to chill and enjoy the view.

Beautiful place near Dehradun, with a stream flowing from the cave. It is in the cantonment area. Sometimes during the rains, the water flow increases suddenly and washes away tourists. So be careful while visiting this place, especially with children. The main problem here is the parking. If you are travelling here on a weekend or some holiday or vacation season, then it's better to park your car above and then go down walking otherwise you will be stuck for like an hour waiting to reach down in your car.

A must visit place if you're travelling to Dehradun for holidays, a beautiful waterfall at the end of the cave, water was a bit on the colder side, I had visited in the evening and enjoyed the beautiful cave. Note - if you're travelling with your vehicle then it would be great as public vehicles like cabs and private autos are hard to find.

A nice place to explore. You will have to walk through the water, so it's recommended that you wear slippers and shorts. However, in case you don't own slippers, you can rent one , which is available at the entrance. It's a picturesque location and it's fun to explore. You should also not miss the amazing stalls and shops located within the robbers cave premises.

Delightful experience. Ticket cost 35rs and if you donโ€™t wanna go bare foot or you are wearing footwear with low friction thereโ€™s a vendor just outside the cave which lends slipper. Itโ€™s a decent long cave, water flows from the end of the cave and thereโ€™s little water dropping from the sides of the wall.

Wonderful place to visit in dehradun. Must visit once in a while. Entry tickets you can buy offline. Closing time is 5' o clock so the best place to visit is at noon. One thing I want to include which you must have before visiting here is slippers of good quality which will not slip on slippery stones and a track paint or shorts because you need to go in running water. All of the above was a fun experience I visited with my family. Car parking is also there which is under construction as of now so dust is everywhere.

Natural cave formation with naturally flowing water stream. Road leading to this place and the place itself is very crowded in summers, especially on weekends, as it is visited by both tourists and locals. One should definitely experience walking inside of the cave through flowing water.

  • 2/5 Debanjan G. 10 months ago on Google
Totally disappointed. First of all its a natural beauty. So i don't know why some people are there with a ticket counter and we need to a ticket of 35 for each. If ticket system is there then there should be some management of crowd. Huge amount of people enter the cave together. There is no fun in such a crowd.

Amazing experience in this hot summer. It's memorable visit. Specially for kids wonderful place. Please take extra clothes. Wear slippers, must have waterproof bag for your phone security. Locker facility available there, changing room is also there. Ticket price is only 35โ‚น. It's 8 km from Dehradun railway station. Roads are narrow that's why slow moving traffic. Please take extra time in your hand

Awesome experience. Recommended for tracking lovers. Going on further above, we couldn't due to time constraints but some visitors suggested we go further. The first part might be crowded but when you start climbing you won't see much public there. We only went up to the 3rd canteen, there is one at every 100 or so mtrs, you can have snacks and tea. The pics are of the second one.

Beautiful cave with shallow water flowing throughout. It has a small waterfall at the end. You are required to rent out slippers in order to enter the cave although you should be able to walk barefoot as well - could be a nice little acupressure session. Entry fee is Rs.35 per person. The place has a few eateries and a paid toilet.
