One of the most serene places, around Wardha. A perfect stop to relax amidst the melody of nature. The dam altogether adds to the beauty, as steady water streams through the rocks. You can very well spend a full day, just carry food and water along. Though the place has few stalls set by the villagers, a good meal will always have to be carried by us. Also take care that you don't tread into deep waters, the incidents happened in the past don't really fascinate the place. Plus, be aware that we don't litter around the water stream or the forest area. If you find wrappers or anything of litter sort, make sure to pick it up. Let's make the place even more serene, by being a little more conscious.

I recently had the opportunity to visit Panchadhara Dam in Ridhora, and it was an experience that left me impressed. The dam, located in the beautiful landscape of Ridhora, serves as an important water resource for the region while also offering a serene and picturesque environment for visitors. The first thing that struck me upon arrival was the sheer size and scale of the dam. It stands tall and majestic, surrounded by lush greenery and rolling hills, creating a stunning backdrop. The engineering marvel of the dam is evident, with its sturdy structure and well-maintained facilities. The dam's construction not only aids in water storage and irrigation but also adds to the charm of the region. The reservoir formed by the dam is a sight to behold. The crystal-clear waters glisten under the sunlight, creating a soothing and tranquil atmosphere. The panoramic views from the dam are breathtaking, allowing visitors to take in the beauty of the surrounding landscape. It's a perfect spot for nature enthusiasts, photographers, and anyone seeking a peaceful retreat. For those looking for recreational activities, Panchadhara Dam offers a range of options. Boating on the reservoir is a popular choice, providing an opportunity to explore the expansive waters and take in the panoramic views from a different perspective. Fishing is also allowed, making it an ideal spot for angling enthusiasts. Additionally, there are well-maintained walking trails and picnic areas, allowing visitors to enjoy a leisurely stroll or have a pleasant outdoor lunch amidst nature. The amenities at Panchadhara Dam are commendable. The visitor facilities are clean and well-maintained, with ample parking spaces and restroom facilities. There are also a few small shops and eateries nearby, offering refreshments and local delicacies. The overall cleanliness and upkeep of the area contribute to a positive visitor experience. One aspect that could be improved is the availability of information. While the dam itself is well signposted, I found limited information available about its history, significance, and ecological impact. Providing visitors with educational displays or guided tours would enhance the experience and deepen our understanding of the dam's importance. Overall, my visit to Panchadhara Dam in Ridhora was a memorable one. The combination of natural beauty, recreational opportunities, and the impressive engineering feat of the dam itself make it a must-visit destination for both locals and tourists. Whether you seek a serene escape or a chance to connect with nature, Panchadhara Dam delivers on its promise and leaves a lasting impression.

Peaceful and lovely place to spend time with you friends and family. A place you can visit near to Wardha, which close to the nature. Road to reach at Ridhora Dam is also good. You can also get eatables here (provided by the locals). If the Dam water flow is ok then you can also take a bath here. Overall it was good experience, atleast should visit here once.

Guys before you go and visit this place Please be careful, when you step out of the water there is a deep hole in which I almost lost my life and one close to me has lost his life right in front of my eyes and many people have lost their lives before that too. And after the incident with me, he has died there three more times, he has woken up, you can go there for picnic and all but please be careful, Can't tell when it will happen.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ One of the nicest waterfall near Nagpur to visit. The path to waterfall is very easy and it's not that difficult, you can witness magical sunset along with the waterfall at evening. Also avoid going on weekends as there can be little crowd. Go on weekdays in morning or in evenings before dark. W...
