Nice location in the middle of the city and with parking floors in the hotel. The room was nice, the beds were a little uncomfortable. Breakfast options were really good, nice buffet and good options for vegans. The reception was very helpful and well informed about everything.

Varmistakaa jatkossa ettĂ€ oven edusta on hyvin hiekoitettu/suolattu ettĂ€ ajo sinne on vaivatonta. Tero

Perushotellihuone. Sopivasti tilaa, myös kylppÀrissÀ. Suihkukaappi hyvÀ, muu lattia pysyi kuivana. Huone hiljainen. Tyynyt pieniÀ ja paksuja, myös se lisÀtyyny. NÀkymÀ ainakin huoneiden 321, 323, 325 ikkunasta on betonikÀytÀvÀ metrin pÀÀssÀ, siinÀ sitten vartija tepasteli pariin otteeseen aamun aikana. Aamiainen tavanomainen valikoimaltaan, kaikki kyllÀkin hyvin maistuvaa, paitsi pekoni. PöydÀt sijoiteltu tilaan aika ahtaasti.

Hotel near the inner city, but 5walking minutes to the turku cathedral. The room was clean and the receptionists were kind aswell. Had a perfect stay for 3 nights. We had to leave at 3:30h am and we could even order (take away) breakfast, got a sandwich and apple and snacks, we could also take a coffe/tea. Wpuld definitely come again

Yövyimme superiorhuoneessa. Ei mielestÀni ollut superior tasoa. SÀnky natisi niin ettÀ tuskin uskalsi kÀÀntyÀ. KeskellÀ huonetta oli jokin ihmeellinen pylvÀs, jonka takana oli nojatuoli. Huone oli ahdas ja tukkoinen. Aamupala oli ihan hyvÀ. Lasten leikkipaikka voisi olla vÀhÀn kauempana aamiasalueesta. Hotellin sijainti on hyvÀ.

The hotel is average. Standard on the rooms are just OK. Staff is nice and helpful. Best thing about the hotel is breakfast, wich was extraordinary!

Great hotel in many ways. We enjoyed breakfast a lot, great selection and quality of the dishes I've ever seen (I travel a lot). Another great thing is the availability of charging your electric car while packed in the hotel garage.

Rooms are clean but as many customers said nothing special, actually with baby crib not much space left :) A lot of kids ant there is a play corner on the second floor which is really thoughtful! Great location, but we were traveling with the van which is 2 meteres high so it was hard to find parking near by, and taking all the stuff to the room and out with 4 children was quite challenging. Choices of breakfast is amaizing I even found what to give to my 11 months old :)))

I loved service! Customer service was amaizing and really helpful. Little to much noise for me but overall good place to stay with family(all cool for kids, there is a play room) or in my case for busines.

Around 20 minute walk from Kupittaa train station. Standard rooms, nice and clean but nothing special. Breakfast was amazing with lots of choices. The entrance was quite unwelcoming (reception is in 2nd floor) but having a Lidl directly in the building was very convenient.

  • 4/5 Henri L. 8 months ago on Google

It's clean and functional, if not very inspiring. Hairdryer was a joke, faint warm air. Breakfast was terrifyingly crowded, many people without masks, no one keeping any space at the buffet. Coffee was truly awful. Staff were pleasant, I'd stay again but probably skip breakfast next time. [edit to answer reply]: We were pretty much forced to take the slot we did as we were told by reception that it was better than our first choice. You really need to put up more signs to encourage distancing and mask wearing - it's irresponsible not to! How about 'queue-here' distance marks for the food? I was pushed aside at various places by non-mask-wearing people more than once. And maybe, just maybe more than a single juice dispenser for a hundred people? Same goes for the single coffee point.

A good hotel for the price in central Turku. The restaurant is nice and spacy and the food has always left me satisfied. Breakfast among the best I've had on my work travels. Sauna and gym are available as well. If I must complain about anything it is the early closing time of the restaurant, at least during these testing times. Other than their native Finnish they also speak Swedish an English.

Ihan mukava hotelli. YstÀvÀllistÀ palvelua. Pieni miinus huoneista, joissa kaikki viereisten ovien aukomiset tuntuivat ja kuuluivat. Huoneet remontoitu ja olivat viihtyisiÀ. HyvÀ aamupala, tarpeeksi tilaa. Plussaa lÀmpimÀstÀ autohallista (Aimopark), johon sai hotellista alennuksen. Tosi keskeinen sijainti.

Ok for staying a few nights. Room was a bit on a smaller side and view was to same level parking deck, but otherwise it did the job. Service was friendly.

Neat rooms, excellent breakfast and friendly service. Good location and easy to access garage by car. The pricing information of the parking should be more clearly stated on the website.

I was here for about 40 days on a business trip from February to the end of March 2017, a very good hotel - friendly and responsive staff. By the way, the reception staff on several occasions were kind enough to accept a shipment from DHL in my name and deliver it to me in a timely manner. The hotel is in the center of Turku, and most public buses leave from the nearby main square. During the week it is calm without many visitors, but on Friday night until Sunday at noon it is full. What I often remember is the great breakfast - a great variety of food and drinks, and most importantly for me - the great espresso. There was a young man who prepared breakfast with great care. Every morning when he was at work, he would come up with a combination of salmon bites and other fish and put them on two or three plates. Since I am a fan of fish dishes, I tried them with interest and I was amazed by their taste. I went to him and congratulated him on the great bites. He was very happy that what he has invented is appreciated. For those who are interested, there is Lidl at the entrance of the hotel, grocery store as well as all over Europe. The rooms were cleaned extremely well daily. I recommend everyone who has a business in Turku not to miss this hotel.

Only one Day, winter-time and corona-time but the room was clean and have all what you need for a quiet remote working Day. Because near to the reaver, I suppose it is a nice plays to be during summer-time.

Lovely hotel crew had upgraded our family room without asking, nice surprise! Rooms were fresh. Only issue was the busy road behind our window with traffic noise early in the morning but that’s life in the city.

The hotel is a decent budget hotel . It is located very comfortably . It is just of the Aura river & is less than 500 m away from the Turku cathedral . It is well connected by bus . The rooms are clean , bathrooms are decent . It has a restaurant which serves an elaborate breakfast spread .The staff was nice , helping & spoke fluent English .

The hotel is ok,rooms could be a little cleaner (I found a piece cut from a fingernail) and the mattresses aren't super comfortable but it's normal for a hotel.Breakfast is good, but there could be more coffee varieties. (Only normal coffee at the machine).People working here are very kind and helpful.

Budget friendly, that's all. Breakfast is included and it's really good. Rooms are small. The sofa bed is not at all comfortable. Mattress is just ok. Julia is situated at the central of Turku so easy connectivity. But their parking is NOT FREE. There is no room service and for late check-out, you need to pay per hour.

Met expectations but never exceeded them. The room was clean enough and large enough but a little tight for two. You won't be tempted to linger. Everything needed was there but nothing which would cause delight. The real bathtub was a pleasant surprise. The location is very good. Staff is a mixed bag. I had a maintainance guy come into my room in the afternoon despite the locked door and after my telling housekeeping that I didn't need anything. The front desk called to apologize when they realized their mistake. Irritating, but things happen sometimes and they did promptly apologize. Ok. Windows are sealed, so no fresh air, but the temperature is fine. Insanely expensive minibar, but there's a grocery store on the ground floor. Breakfast has everything you'd want and of acceptable but not exceptional quality. Nothing is bad, but nothing is great, either. A few little tweaks and it could be fabulous, but instead...meh.

Room was not bad, had to wait until 3pm for my room and parking cost over 20 euros

It is a room, breakfast you do not want to miss. Everything is clean, feels fresh, just a good place to sleep in. Location is spot on. Elevator is tacky and stupid. It wants to make sure you take the stairs. Fun unless you are an amputee dying to go to the bathroom

Good and quiet room. Good view. Good services. Good breakfast. Simple & chic interior design. Clean. There are lots of good restaurants close by maybe 1-5 mins walking distance from the hotel. There is a bus station downstairs (just in front of the hotel). Bust number 1 goes to Turku airport from this station. And it takes only around 20-25 minutes. I like Scandic hotels in general. Because almost all of my stays in Scandic hotels in Finland have been good so far.

We booked the hotel 3 months in advance. From the beginning we asked an early check in because we had an important event at 15pm, so their normal check in hours wouldn't work for us. We were of course also willing to pay half a day more or the 15euros fee for early check in. All they answered via email was that they could not promise anything but that they would do their best to accomodate us. Upon further request to have more concrete answers they replied: "Please contact us closer to the stay as we would be more informative about the matter." I checked again with them 1 week before the trip and they answered that they could not guarantee a check in earlier than 15 because the hotel was FULLY BOOKED. At that point our booking became non refundable and we couldn't do nothing but try to go to the hotel early and wait to see if they could do something to let us in in advance. At the reception we explained the situation and the background to the lady that served us. She looked completely indifferent and even bothered by our questions like "could you help us know when the room would be ready or ask the cleaning service to clean our room first?" Or "could you switch our assigned room with the first room that get cleaned?" NOTHING. She did not even check or blink. The answer was: we cannot know these things, we cannot ask the cleaning service and changing assigned rooms is too complicated, we can't do that, we don t know when your room will be ready. After an hour waiting we decide to talk to a second receptionist and guess what: she checked with the cleaning service what they could do and she checked if there was any other way we could get a room. In fact she found a cancellation and moved us to that room (not very difficult to do after all now!). Awfully bad service. Stressed us up for nothing. Not coming back for sure.

We had a superior plus room with a sauna. The room was huge, with lots a seating, a separate bedroom and proper desks for working. The downside with this room (211) was having the bed board along the corridor wall - we woke up to the first neighbour slamming their door shut, which shook the whole wall and the bed board along with it. And this continued until each and every neighbour had had their breakfast, after which they returned to their rooms to, apparently, drag furniture along the floor. Yes, this hotel either has really poor noise insulation or our room just had really poor noise insulation, either way not very fitting for superior plus room. The view from our second floor window was a grey building, but this is to be expected from a downtown hotel. The huge upside of the location is having access to a R-Kioski and a Lidl grocery store without even stepping outside. The service was friendly and we could leave our bicycles in the adjacent parking garage, where they were safe and sound over the night.

Super freundliche Rezeption mit Parkaus. Very friendly reception and good, easy parking. Well housekeeping is not good at all. My used dirty glasses have not been swapped once. How can he/she not have seen it the last 6 day's??? And breakfast, for one two nights ok but every day the same dry bread rolls, the eggs are aways cold and scrambled egg is just some yellow paste swimming in water,,, brrr

Entrance is outdated and but the room was in a good condition. Good selection of breakfast (similar to other Scandic line hotels).

Giving this hotel 5 stars because of the amazing breakfast. As a vegan it’s not often that I feel excited about hotel breakfast. But this one is all you would ever want and more: fresh carrot&sea buckthorn juice, smoothies, yummy chia pudding, plenty of plant based protein, hummus and pea spread and so much more fresh delicious things to choose from. Loved every bite!
