They make my birthday perfect even when 5 min after my reservation I was standing alone because someone live me. Food is amazing I don’t remember when was the last time when I eat something like that. Everything was delicious. People here are amazing. Thank you so much

Loistavaa ruokaa ja sushi oli todella hyvää. 4.6.2023: Brunssi ei kyllä yltänyt lähellekkään sitä tasoa mitä muuten tässä ravintolassa on. Oli pieni pettymys.

Erinomaista ruokaa, söimme Niwatori-menun. Olimme varanneet pöydän kahdeksaksi. Saapuessamme tarjoilija jäykästi:: ”Olettehan huomanneet, että keittiömme menee kiinni yhdeksältä eli sopiiko että tuomme ruoat nopeammalla tahdilla?” Tällä hän loi odotusarvon, että nyt mennäänkin rivakasti. ”Öö joo, toki sopii.” Tästä keskustelusta huolimatta jokaista ruokaa jouduttiin odottamaan älyttömän pitkään, ja lopulta meillä meni yli 2,5 tuntia. Sinällään, meillä ei ollut mihinkään kiire mutta tarjoilijan aloitus ei stemmannut todellisuuden kanssa. Jos hän sen sijaan olisi aloittanut: ”meillä on täällä tupa täynnä, eihän teillä ole kiire mihinkään, sopiihan että mennään vähän hitaammalla tempolla, nauttikaa rauhassa”, ilta olisi mennyt nappiin. Vinkki Claudialle: älä käytä me-passiivia (ollaankos me jo valmiita tilaamaan, mites me maksetaan) Vinkki ravintolalle: pitäkää ihmeessä keittiönne auki pidempään, kysyntää ainakin kesäisessä tiistai-illassa on, ja varmistakaa että kommunikointi salin ja keittiön kanssa toimii. Tärkeimmät komponentit eli ruoka ja miljöö teillä jo hallinnassa.

The tempeh was super salty and I’ve never tasted such salty one ever 🥵 tho friend said his Bao and ice cream with Sichuan chili chips were very satisfying. But still tempeh just ruined my interest in anything else from the restaurant.

During my visit to the restaurant, I had the pleasure of trying their Shaba shabu hotpot, accompanied by spicy tuna tartar and scallops as starters. Both starters were nothing short of delicious, with the spicy tuna tartar and scallops being particularly standout choices. The fine dining atmosphere of the establishment was quite appealing, and we were seated at a hotpot table near the speakers. While the ambiance was cool, I found the music to be slightly too loud for my comfort. Our waitress promptly presented us with the menu and offered us water before taking our order for drinks and starters. We opted for the Masu traditional passion fruit cocktail and a martini. While I wasn't impressed with the martini, I thoroughly enjoyed the passion fruit drink. Upon reviewing the table, there were only chopsticks provided, so we had to ask for a fork and knives to consume the starters. Unfortunately, the waitress left without any utensils or bowls, which made it difficult to eat the scallops. We had to wait a few more minutes before requesting that these tools be brought to us. This was a bit of a letdown, but the quality of the food made up for it. The waitress returned to our table to inquire about the starters, which we signaled were excellent. She dutifully informed us that our hotpot would be arriving shortly. When she brought out the hotpot, she explained what it contained, but her explanation wasn't sufficient for those unfamiliar with the food. Additionally, with two sauce options provided, we were unsure of which sauces to pair with our food. After bringing us the main hotpot sauces, we had to wait another thirty minutes for the broth to boil. It would have been great if the stove was heated beforehand to minimize the wait time. The hotpot's broth, sauces, and meat were all very flavorful, but I found the pricing to be a tad steep. Perhaps an improved introduction to the dish could help guests understand how to enjoy it better. On another note, while the food was fantastic, the presence of the waitress's spit on my face during her explanation of the hotpot wasn't the best experience. Once the broth finally reached boiling temperature, it was worth the wait, and we enjoyed a delicious meal.

Erinomaista palvelua ja mielettömän hyvät ruoat. Vahva suositus kaikille. Suosittelen varaamaan pöydän etukäteen, niin mahtuu varmasti.

The food was ok. We ordered the menu Roku. The menu was SO expensive for the amount of food we got served. we had the miso soup which was good. We had the salmon tartar and there was about a quarter of it, if not less. Then we had one of the buns (which I have to say was pretty good) and we only got one, a tiny piece. Then we had the sushi and we had only three pieces of sushi per person. THREE PIECES. We had the ribs, which were really good and the lamb curry, which unfortunately was missing salt. I left the restaurant still hungry and wishing we got served a little more. Overall the restaurant's environment was nice and the waitresses had good customer service.

Alkuruoka oli erinomaista. Pääruokia odotettiin yli toista tuntia. Liha oli hyvää mutta kastike liian makea omaan makuun. Viineissä olisi panostettavaa, mielestäni kyykky viiniä ei voi myydä laadukkaan hinnalla. Paikkana oli viihtyisä ja henkilökunta osaavaa.

Ei mitään valittamista. Palvelu, tunnelma ja etenkin ruoka erinomaista.

Loistavia aasialaisia makuja ja hyvä asiakaspalvelu 🫶 Alkoholittomia viinejä löytyi myös.

Masu on kaunis ravintola ja ruoka todella hyvää, mutta pöytävarauksesta huolimatta jouduimme odottamaan ruokaa lähes tunnin. Toki meille kerrottiin se ennakkoon. Kaunis sisustus, mutta tunkkainen ja voimakas käry ei ollut miellyttävää. Haju jäi myös vaatteisiin. Palvelu on hyvää ja asiantuntevaa, henkilökunta osaa suositella ruokia ja juomia. Menun syöjän kannattaa varata kunnolla aikaa, yksittäisistä ruuista tulee myös hyvin kylläiseksi. Hyvät maut ja ruoka kauniisti tarjolla.

Varuous kind of menu to chose. You can tase many small dishes ar menu cours. Some are very goid some not tast for me. Goid choice of wine.

One of the best asian restaurants in Tampere. Everything was amazing. Sushi platter gives you a chance to taste three different type of sushi so it would be a good way to start. Also you should try the buns. They are so soft you will not believe.

The food was very good (vegan menu) but the main course lacked depth. We loved the umami salad. 👌 Our table was a bit dark but it's OK since we didn't complain. Open kitchen is a nice plus.

Nice ambience, attentive and friendly service. Also tasty and imaginative food, starters small in size. The price level too high, e.g. two (2) scallops 14 euros!

I have eaten asian style dinners also @ Farang in Helsinki and @ Michelin star restaurants in Chengdu, China. I found this food to be on par.

A stunning restaurant with a variety of flavors to experiment with. The presentation of dishes is inspiring and makes you want to try more items on the menu. In an honest opinion, the quantity was a tad bit lower than expected. But that’s not what this restaurant is about. You should visit the place if you’re interested in getting surprised, with different flavors, creative combinations and definitely get a taste of Asia. Oh and the staff is wonderful and welcoming. Last but not the least, the desserts are killer.

I can genuinely say this is one of the best Asian restaurants I've ever been to. The food is delicious and the flavours are unlike anything I've had before. The dishes are on the small side but still enough to satisfy. The service was friendly and overall the prices were good for what you're getting. And the atmosphere is great too! There weren't that many people when we were there, and the place had more relaxed seating as well as actual dinner tables. One of the dishes I'd absolutely recommend is the scallops with yuzu foam.

Very nice service. An Asian-fusion style. Food was good, and matched its price. But I had a stomache after the meal.

Massive disappointment here as well. Unable to order different menus in a party of two people was the first minor letdown, next the drink I ordered was apparently forgotten about until I reminded the waiter of this, no apologies from the waiter. These minor things could almost be excused but then the dishes were one disappointment after another, excluding the delicious appetizer. Some main dishes tasted bland while the salmon dish was just plain bad, the ingredients did not work together in our opinion. Cannot recommend this place at all.

No reservation but they found room for us… we ordered the soft shell crab, 2 buns, steak with black bean sauce and the ribs. So much food and So tasty. Highly recommend for all in Tampere. Staff very attentive and knowledgeable 😍

Masu was a big disappointment. Firstly, we didn't like that if You want to take a set menu, You have to order the same set for all the people at the table. And If You want to change any meal, You have to pay extra for every person. Secondly, we ordered macha, neither it looked nor tasted like macha. The tea setup looked nice, but they screwed it up by bringing packaged honey. Waiting time between starters and mains more than 1h. Main courses (ribs and pork) was so sweet that we could not even finish it...:/ Crab starter was a mess. The good things were: sushi tasted good and fresh, Japanese bun was OK, and the best meal was wakame broccoli starter (picture of the bowl with peanuts). Portions size were good also.
