Mami
is
shining
example
of
why
you
want
to
go
to
a
restaurant
and
let
them
guide
you
to
culinary
excellence.
My
first
visit
to
a
famous
Turku
establishment
and
it
was
well
worth
the
reputation.
The
four
course
menu
was
tempting,
but
I
also
wanted
to
have
the
Vorschmack,
that
was
not
included,
but
was
available
a
la
carte.
Luckily
there
was
flexibility
to
include
this
into
the
selection
and
off
we
went.
The
fennel
soup
starter
and
paired
white
wine
was
phenomenal
duo.
Sometimes
you
can
see
that
a
dish
and
wine
work
like
siblings
in
accentuating
each
other,
but
here
they
worked
like
one
was
able
to
read
the
others
mind.
Best
duo
I've
had
in
years.
The
blini
with
roe,
sourcream
and
red
onion
was
great,
a
simple
dish
where
there's
no
room
to
hide,
but
fluffy
blini
with
perfectly
crispy
outside
was
just
wonderful.
The
Vorschmack
was
my
first
ever
and
although
relatively
simple
in
composition,
was
something
I
really
wanted
to
have
in
a
place
where
everything
is
made
to
high
quality.
It
was
excellent
and
kept
in
the
theme
started
by
the
blinis
as
"buildable
dish".
All
really
tasty
dishes
with
well
paired
wines
creating
excellent
coherent
menu.
Then
there
was
the
dessert.
My
word,
how
great
a
finale
it
was!
The
berry
parfait
with
white
chocolate
fudge
was
phenomenal,
a
star
of
the
visit!
The
Service
was
really
friendly
and
knowledgeable
and
I
can
easily
see
why
Mami
has
it's
reputation
as
stellar
Turku
establishment
and
well
deserved!
