I had high hopes for this restaurant and its gluten free menu. This was my last meal in Belfast before moving on. The staff was unfriendly to the point of rude. I entered an almost empty restaurant and was asked if I had a reservation. When I said no, the young woman acted as though I had committed a mortal sin and was asked to wait. I understand that lunch on a Sunday can be busy, but there was only 1 table occupied and when I left almost an hour later the restaurant was less than half full. My server was rude. When I tried to ask questions about how the food was prepared he made it very obvious that he just wanted me to order. Example: when I asked about how the hake was prepared he responded "it's fish" Oh duh. The hake was the most expensive dish on the menu. The portion was more like an appetizer. It was excellent and well prepared, but small. I left hungry and very disappointed.

Came across this restaurant from googling Vegan Belfast and was pleasantly surprised at their extensive menu. The air con was a welcome relief and not too cold which was great. Lots of live plants and nice music at a good volume. Our server, Anna, was extremely attentive. She carried the cutlery over in a wicker tray and laid them out nicely (instead of the usual dump and run) and was very good at topping up the bottle of water. The napkins were actual linen rather than paper which was nice. The table perhaps needs replaced due to damage (pictured). Think the wall also needed a good clean and repaint as well as the canvas artwork repaired (also pictured). Usually I wouldn’t be so fussy but I think if you’re associated with Michelin, there needs to be a bit of a higher standard and they’re easy fixes. The food was lovely, came out very quickly! We both had the celeriac burgers which were nice but think they could have had tomatoes and/or gherkin in it but it was a bit one dimensional with just the celeriac for me. The brownie was nice too. I appreciated that it was real vanilla ice cream (can tell with little black dots throughout). **there is a 10% gratuity added to every table automatically** There is a very good gluten free menu also. All in all, worth checking out.

I'll start by saying that we had a lovely meal accompanied by great service. The atmosphere was good without being too loud which suits me well! Now to the food. I went out on a limb with my starter and choose the tofu as I had never had it before and I do like to try new things. I now know that tofu is not for me! Nothing to do with the cooking of it, I find the texture disagreeable and I don't need it in my life. If you don't try different things then you won't know! Moving on to the main. I had the crispy pork and this was right up my street! The mustard sauce was full flavoured without being overpowering and there was plenty of it which pleased me no end. Gnocchi were light and fluffy and choucroute (french sauerkraut) was a welcome addition. I didn't know what it was until I saw it on the plate! Also, the slices of morteau sausage ( french smoked sausage) added another dimension to the dish. The pork itself was like an escalope or schnitzel and was top notch! For me this dish really hit the spot! To finish I had poached pineapple in cardamom syrup with coconut sorbet. For me this was light and refreshing and the perfect way to finish a meal. My wife had the sticky toffee pudding. She confirmed that it was up there with the best she's had. I don't know as she refused to share it! If you have read this review and you're into your food then I would say give Home a go, you will not be disappointed. I will definitely go back, although I will start with the goat cheese and leave the tofu to the vegans! Thanks!

First time visiting Belfast and while searching for a place with good vegan food, we ran into Home. The restaurant is listed on the Michelin website (no stars). They offer a vegetarian and a vegan menu among meat and fish dishes. The place is full of life and noisy when full. Service was very nice. We ordered a parsnip soup and sourdough bread for starters. The soup was delicious and creamy, the bread was warm and the olive tapenade delicious. As mains, we went for a rigatoni with tomato confit and green salsa (mint and basil) and a salt and pepper tofu on a bed of mango cole slaw. Both dishes were fresh and vibrant. The star of the night was dessert, a coconut and pineapple sticky rice that was to die for... Creamy and sweet with the tanginess of the fruit. Also ordered 3 bottles of water, a pint of Guinness and a mint tea. We paid £ 70 which included a 10% service charge. What an amazing value for the quality of food we were served! A must visit. Enjoy!!!

A must in Belfast. One of the best roasted chicken I had in my life!! The whole meal was so delicious. Mashed potatoes vegetables and such a delicious sauce on the side... no words for that. Also very good vegetarian options.

A fine new restaurant added to Belfast’s city centre value for money fine dining menu. Catering for all tastes literally, with attentive service and quality food paired with a nice selection of well chosen wines offered by knowledgeable staff. A great lunch experience.

The whole meal was way too good to be true. I totally understand why Home is a Michelin restaurant. The Thursday 3-course menu was genuinely incredible. I highly recommend the Seared Squid, the Braised Duck Ragu and the Chocolat Fondant. All the flavor combinations were harmonious and perfectly well-executed. Last but not least, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Well done!

Visited as a group of four for a business lunch on a Monday. Service was pretty mixed. Some of the staff were very friendly and others not so energetic. Waited quite a while to get a drinks order. The burger was tasty but not worth the £17 in my opinion - it was lacking volume. Will probably head somewhere else next time.

Had dinner here and it was excellent. From we went in we were greeted with a smile and shown to our table. There was no rush to get us a drink and we were given time to look at the menu and decide. Water was provided and we did not have to ask for it. We had nibbles and main. The nibbles we had to start with were chili olives and hummus, both were excellent. My partner had cod as main and I had a bhaji burger. The cod was excellent, cooked to perfection. I found the burger a bit dry but that was soon put right with the addition of some sauce. The staff were attentive, helpful and polite. There was a comfortable atmosphere which overall made for a brilliant evening and experience. The loos too were spotless. If you have it tried it you will not be disappointed.

Wonderful restaurant that sparked a new obsession with gin brambles 😋. Our party of four came for lunch and were very pleased with the food, drinks and the service--we kept bringing it up the rest of the day. One member of our party has significant dietary restrictions that were taken so seriously the kitchen even made her a special gravy since they didn't have any on offer that were wine-free. We initially thought the place might be a bit stuffy, but our server got our vibe and made us laugh. We loved it.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating (I arrived a little early) but took me to the table to enjoy a drink whilst I waited for friends. The menu was amazing in that it catered for lots of appetite options. The 2 course set menu was very reasonably priced and the quality of the food was exceptional. Tables were nicely spaced and there was a really warm atmosphere. My only niggle was the accessible toilet could do with a wheelchair friendly makeover.

It's an eatery where one can either eat in or take away. It is located in a buzzing area in Ibadan close to the new ultra modern motor park under construction at Challenge. Snacks, rice in variety and chicken, drinks, ice cream readily available. They offer good customer service. Salesforce are welcoming. Good for passengers catching early morning buses or cars to Lagos State for breakfast.

Where to begin... The food was amazing. I had the sea bass, it was great, others in my group had the boeuf bourguignon and pheasant, all the dishes were just... great. I had the rice pudding for dessert, even though i hate prunes. soaking them in whiskey apparently does the trick. The combination was delicious!! The service was so great. The only better service I've had in my life was at a 2 star michelin restaurant. Oh yeah, and did I mention I have coeliac disease? The poor things had to make sure everything was gluten free and be certain there was no cross contamination. And they did so, with no need for other words than "I have coeliac" when I ordered my food. I cannot praise this food and service highly enough. Me and the guys I was having dinner with, we were all amazed, and they have absolutely no interest in gluten free food. The Home kitchen staff being able to make good gluten free food seems to be just a byproduct of them being able to make great food! And how amazing is that?!?

I've been there a couple of times, would give the restaurant 3 or even 4 stars if not for tonight's disappointing dish. I ordered pan fried sea bass, ended up getting fish skin with the thinnest slice of fish meat underneath. It was actually interesting to see how thin one can cut the sea bass. The meal, as a result, tasted nothing like fish but just a fried tastless "something". The unremarkable sauce did not give any flavour to the dish whatsoever. Probably will not be going there ever again

Beautifully paired flavours! The food at Home Restaurant was delicious! They seem to be able to cater to just about any food allergy or dietary requirements which was nice to see. I got the falafel and it was exploding with a variety of flavours all of which complimented each other. The staff there were great and very friendly. Pretty cool vintage decor with various paintings to look at too.

Ate here Tuesday night. Was up from Kildare for a few days and this place was head and shoulders above anywhere we went in terms of food, safety approach, atmosphere and value (and some cool art too!) Thanks very much James and co. for giving us a lovely evening. Would highly recommend a visit.

While Home advertises 25% percent off at the minute they fail to mention a compulsory 10% surcharge on your bill. This includes drink as well as food. Was disgusted to realise thisended up amounting to more than the discount offered. Not sure of the legality of this but will certainly not be back. Very, very reduced menu with not that many options, most people appeared to be eating the burgers. Was really disappointed after revisiting this once loved restaurant.

Our waitress was excellent, the food was delicious and the space has handled the new regulations very well. And on top of all this the price was a steal. Can not recommend highly enough.

Really enjoyed our dinner here. Took advantage of the prix fixe menu and it did not disappoint. Was so tasty. My mum had the gluten free options and was very impressed, especially by the dessert (she's normally only offered pavlova, so a chocolate torte was right up her street). Staff attentive and friendly. Also helpful when we were looking a way to get to the waterfront hall for our next stop. Looking forward to a return visit.

Terrific food, made fresh. It's the first time in my life that I've had house made tortellini! The difference between theirs and everything else that I've had was night and day. Flavors were good, technique was perfect. We came because we noticed the Michelin sign as we were walking to a different restaurant. Home is a Bib Gourmand rated spot instead of starred, but that's ok with me as the prices are much, much better and the service good enough. They have a gluten free menu and lunch combination specials Wednesday through Friday.

Visited this restaurant with a group of friends recently, having no idea what to expect. The service was excellent-helpful, knowledgeable and welcoming. But the food...was EXCEPTIONAL!!! (That's right. I actually needed 3 exclamation points for that!) Its not cheap (the price of alcoholic drinks, even wine with dinner is a bit pricey; cheapest bottle of red was £30.00) but it's not unreasonable for a city centre spot, and the food is worth every penny. Fresh, hot, locally sourced, perfectly prepared with outstanding flavour! I'm actually salivating just thinking about it. Really nice vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free menus available too, which are included as part of the dining options, and not presented as if they were an afterthought. I would highly recommend Home for an exceptional dining experience. It's my new go-to spot for visiting guests and special occasions. It is truly impressive.

Great food & great atmosphere. Restaurant was quite busy but never too loud as to drown out your own conversations. Food was all beautifully presented and the main course was cooked to perfection.

Exceptional food and presentation. The veal was exquisite served with a bean salad and scalloped potato pancake. The chicken was supremely cooked on a bed of delicious quinoa and legumes. Exceptional burger as well. For dessert, the Irish cheese plate was exceptional and so were the pannacotta and the chocolate tart. Highly recommend and will be coming back.

This is popular and for good reason the food was excellent 👌 we had to sit at the bar as there were no seats for 2 available or at least clean when we came in. Shortly after another local couple came in and were seated immediately. The bar stools are quite short so food was at chin height 😄 the decor was very nice. Maybe book ahead to avoid sitting at the bar.

My order was incorrectly taken but the food was so good that I ate it anyway. An apology would have been great though. Gnocchi and salmon mains were really good!
