We are so happy that we stumbled upon this place!! It serves 100% plant based food, with traditional west African dishes and others. The owner, Ben Asamani, is a Ghanaian chef who has been incredibly successful with his restaurant in London, England. This past year he decided that he wanted to share his tasty vegan food with his fellow countrymen here in Accra. Tatale has only been open for about about a month, but already they have an amazing vegan menu and a few very loyal customers. We ordered the Tatale Gardens shared plate for two and absolutely loved it. We were so pleased to find this option which allowed us to try so many different dishes. The service was wonderful, our waiter Joshua talked to us about his own journey towards veganism as s Ghanaian and was able to tell us all about the menu, and the owner’s vision. It was so nice to have the opportunity to try local dishes as a vegan. Such s wonderful experience! I really hope more people discover this place and that their success grows. Important note!! The location here on google maps is wrong! It’s just a little bit further down the same street. Thank you, Tatale!

Great place for a quick delicious vegan bite! The reason why this is not a 5 stars is because the location is not well taken care of. There are no restrooms and seating is very limited. The food was good though. It arrived quickly and as expected. There’s a wide variety of different dishes, many GF options, spicy or not spicy and nuts or nuts free. A very good menu. The portions are huge and we’ll prepared. Taste is balanced and simply delicious. I would go back for the taste a good value.

We went for lunch, and it was great! We ordered and then went yo trader Joes right across the street (FYI: My Vegan doesn’t have restrooms) By the time, we came back food was served on our table. Fried rice, mushroom coconut noodles and eggplant dish was awesome. Thai Tea was also really good. Service is good and the parking is easily accessible in the parking lot.

Food is decent and portions are hearty but the service leaves something to be desired. They don't seem happy to be there nor do they seem happy to have you there. I've been about 3-4 times and all the times the service was lukewarm at best. It's set up to be cafeteria service style for takeout orders so they literally just have to scoop the food into your container and check you out. It should only take 5 minutes. But every time I've gone, it takes 20+ minutes even with one or two people in line. On one occasion, the lady behind the food counter was cleaning some spoons or something for about 10 minutes with her back turned without ever acknowledging that there were people waiting in line. A young man came from the back, didn't acknowledge customers, spoke to the lady and went right on back. I finally said something and when the lady was good and ready, she turned around to help us like we were bothering her. Another time I went, I asked the young lady if I could see what all they were serving so I could choose. The young lady opened the lid on the first pan, didn't say what it was until I asked her. Then I had ask her to open each subsequent lid each time and had to ask her what it was each time. It was like pulling teeth. I gave it a few chances thinking it was a one time thing but it's definitely just the energy there. I don't want to spend money where I feel like a bother, just not my jam. If the service was better, I'd probably go back more frequently but not worth it.

I reviewed EL a few weeks to over a month ago. It was so tasty. I unfortunately must amend my review to include DO NOT PATRONIZE AFTER 5pm AS THE FOOD IS TERRIBLE. It is not very fresh; meaning what is left over from earlier in the day must go! They close at 7 or 8 p.m. I cannot recall, but the later one goes, the worse the food is. I have not experienced this on one occasion, but at least five or more. For example, the vegetables and proteins were fried out from sitting in the heat. The service even have me mac and cheese (cashew) which had been sitting in something like a crock pot on the side. More importantly, the same cook is not always in operation. Last week the tofu chicken salad was way too sweet but the cashew mac and cheese was excellent; but this past Thursday it was dry and improperly seasoned. In essence, consistency is the key. This is true with most restaurants. I don't think I will ever go back on a Thursday and definitely not a few hours before closing. More so, my husband told me he cannot tolerate the food as it is not seasoned well. He prefers my vegan cooking and is a serious carnivore! BUT he said, "If they have some good vegetables, bring me a plate of those. I know I can trust your judgement on getting something good" Not the case on Thursday. I was not going to take him anything! This was very unfortunate and disappointing. I am going to still visit EL since it is the only natural vegan restaurant in the area but sincerely hoping they can improve in some key areas I have mentioned.

The Orange Chicken was very tasty! Nice thin batter. And the sweet tangy sauce was perfect! Came with a side of brown rice! Pad Thai was nicely done. I love that it's so creamy and not dry like the others I've tried! Last but definitely not the least the Wild mushroom noodle in coconut soup! The rice noodles were nicely cooked, It's hot and sour and creamy goodness! 😊 Tofu was nice and soft with combination of mushrooms and bean sprouts and the lemongrass it smelled and tasted so good! Hits the spot on this gloomy and cold day! Oh and the Thai Iced tea with soy milk is 👍👍👍. Attentive staff. Very good service! We usually just order for delivery but i think dining in was the key! 😋😋😋

Every time that I try a new Thai restaurant, I ask for a Pad Thai. The rationale is that if that staple of Thai cuisine is not well prepared, there is little else to look for in that place. Interestingly, the menu showed the dish prominently, calling it their signature dish. And, boy, they delivered! The flavor was so well balanced, and the noodles were rightly cooked, and with the right moisture, not the mess of sticky overcooked noodles you get some times. The accompanying Chinese eggplant was well prepared, too. 10/10. The same goes for the "fish" dish my wife had. Finally, the mango with sticky rice was sublime. The service was excellent. The seating is ok though.

One of the best vegan restaurants in Accra, if not the best. First of all the atmosphere is inviting, relaxing with soothing music in the background, soft candles on each table. The service is quick and very friendly. Now for the best part - THE FOOD. Absolutely mouth watering delicious and very tasty. There has to be a better word than delicious but I cant think of it. The portions are plenty, you will be full when you finish. They a good assortment of juice, smoothies and teas. If you are true vegan as I am. You must visit this place.

A bit noisy inside, but they serve everything super fast. Their biryani is not what I expected but it’s very delicious, the grilled chicken is very tender and packed with curry flavor Also tried their fried chicken burger- the chicken patty has a thick layer of yellow curry batter, have to admit their curry is top notch

Unfortunately we had a horrible experience with the owner. We were so excited to try this place out as my husband and I recently have been enjoying vegan food. My husband ordered the Briyani, which he enjoyed, and I ordered the Spicy Ramen (mild). I’ve ordered that kind of ramen before (other places) and this one had no spice nor flavor to it. It was VERY bland. I was shocked but also wasn’t enjoying it at all, after only 3 bites. I called to ask if they may have give me the wrong soup, but they said that’s how it always tastes. They offered to replace my ramen as long as I brought it back. I was back at the restaurant in 10 mins and the owner/“head chef” came out to talk to us and he refused to replace my meal. He was extremely rude (caused an awkward altercation with 6 other customers in the restaurant) saying he has never had anyone return a dish before, nor has he ever ever heard of anyone doing that to a restaurant. I was shocked only because I’ve managed several restaurants/kitchens before, and I know how many times dishes get returned back to the kitchen DAILY. He was being extremely rude, didn’t want to speak to a woman, and was rudely giving me his back and interrupting any time I tried to speak. After a few mins, I knew the kind of individual this was and it wasn’t going to be worth my energy. I politely asked for a refund (at that point I didn’t trust him preparing any other dish for me lol) and ensured him this is not the outcome we desired. I simply wanted to enjoy my $21 meal (I also ordered a Thai Tea), so I was happy even ordering something cheaper than what I had originally paid. But unfortunately the owner was so rude & disrespectful, that we were over it. We asked for the refund and to our surprise, they did (only for my dish, we weren’t asking for a full refund). We won’t ever go there again. Not because the food was bad, but merely because of the attitude of the owner. We don’t want to support a business where the owner is rude to his customers and claims he doesn’t want to speak to women. And lastly, they gave us our meal in a USED Trader Joe’s bag!! 🤦🏽‍♀️ Thumbs down overall.

Wow, great food, generous portions and fair prices too! We really enjoyed our first time here. Don't let the vegan label worry you, the food is delicious, spiced just right. The tofu and "chicken" were both really tasty. I loved the eggplant pad-thai special and the yellow curry noodles had a great flavor. We will definitely be back to try some of the other dishes.

This was my 1st time trying vegan Ghanaian food and I cannot believe it took me this long. Every single meal was top notch! The restaurant is in a somewhat quiet residential area and with the bright purple neon signs infront of it, you can't miss it. The staff were very friendly and I even had the opportunity to meet the ever so lovely owner who has been vegan for most of his life and happens to also have another restaurant in London. Covid 19 safety measures were in place and hand sanitizers were also available. For our starters, we went for the 'Kosayi' and Kebab. The Kosayi (Kose) took some getting used to as I'm very familiar with the original taste and texture. I tried it with the sour cream and it was heaven. It complemented it perfectly. The Kebab was quite great too. Grilled veggies with sweet potatoes and tofu. All my favourite things. I wish there were more tofu chunks though. Now my main meal. This is the meal that's made me decide to be vegan for the month of July. I'm so glad I chose the chickpea curry with brown rice because that's going to be my order anytime I'm there. The curry tasted and smelt amazing and the brown rice was way better than I expected. I was extremely pleased with my experience and will definitely be going back.

Being vegan, organic and tasty is one thing, but being all these things and have a great variety of items is another. There's nothing wrong with Itadaki Zen, but also nothing too special. Everything on the menu looks good enough to eat, but none of the dishes was popping out or seeming particularly interesting or delicious. It's not exceptionally expensive, but not cheap either, as essentially you're just eating vegetables with rice/noodles. Very light dishes that definitely won't make you feel stuffed. Gluten free and nut free options available.

Went there for dinner. The staff were really friendly and accommodating, and the atmosphere was nice. However, the food itself wasn’t really unique in any way. It wasn’t bad, it was good, but that’s it nothing more. The idea of the place is really nice but I hope they improve their food. It felt like stuff I could have easily done at home, and the prices were too much for the quantity and size. I ordered a sesame pudding and expected it would be the size of my palm at least, but it was so tiny like it was a sample. I would be interested to go back only if they improve their food quality and taste.

I got the kale bone, collards, Mac & cheese, cornbread, & tropical drink. The kale bone a flavor/ texture that remind me of stuffing mixed with soy with gravy of top. Not bad at all but I’m not a stuffing kind of person so I wouldn’t get it again. The collards was your typical collards & I did enjoy that. The Mac & cheese was the BEST vegan Mac & cheese I have ever tasted & I have tried a few. The cornbread was dry. I took one bite & trashed it. The tropical drink have hibiscus in it & it’s delicious. The customer service is welcoming & friendly. The place does have a slight Odor like it’s a older building.

I'm so grateful that there is a black owned restaurant that has healthy food. I have been supporting Everlasting Life Vegan restaurant since 2007, and they are my favorite restaurant. Granted, they may have their challenges and struggles, but they still provide a healthy alternative way of eating. I enjoy supporting Everlasting Life. And I pray that they will flourish and grow in a greater capacity. -Anita Britt

Can be a real good alternative depending on the day you go and who cooks. There is no consistency with the production of food as far as taste (some days the food is either over seasoned or not seasoned enough). First rule of vegan cooking is season well and this does not mean salt or pepper; nor does it mean over powering with other seasonings. There should be a very good balance. Not a fan of their desserts at all. The cashew mac and cheese is usually good. The brown rice and any of the meats containing a gravy are delicious as well. Often times, the chicken patties are dry (unfortunately, in the three years I have patronized the eatery, I have only had a good order at least two or three times that I recall, so I don't order them anymore. Never go two - three hours before closing. The food is not refreshed and quality is not great. Some days I enjoy, and others I am not impressed. When on a Daniel fast, it definitely helps to eat here to add variety and get out of a boring eating routine, but ask about ingredients to be safe. Overall, it is definitely a great substitute for those wanting to get away from meat, dairy, etc. for a time or even transition over to a vegan diet. It could be sooooo much better if there was consistency with the preparation of the food and much more variety should be offered, especially for the price.

I went to the store because the pictures looked really good online. However, when I went inside everything looked dry as hell. Not to mention all the tops that go on top of the food to stay warm was crusty and had food all over the place. It showed me nobody cleans!!! Ew. Like it takes a couple mins to wipe down your station and keep it clean. Disappointed because I’ma new vegan and they are down the street from me. Won’t return.

Craving Tacos?Thai?Italian?Chinese? This place has it all! And get this....ALL of the dishes were delicious. My sister(vegan) just moved to Pasadena and on the last day of my visit I wanted to take her to the best vegan spot around since she always compromises and suffers through(i mean picks) places were we can both eat at (I am a hardcore carnivore). We tried 4 dishes: -[GET THIS!!] Soy Beef Crispy Tacos: 11/10. The cheese sauce was creamy, soy beef was well seasoned and delicious, crispy shell was perfect and fresh lettuce was surprisingly complementary -Orange Chicken: 9/10. Comes with yummy brown rice! Has quite the unique orangy tangy taste. Took me a couple bites before I was addicted. -Pad See You w/ Tofu: 10/10. Really dense flavor but it was good. -[GET THIS!!] Carbonara Soy Chicken Pasta: 11/10. Creamy and tastes like a fettuccine alfredo!! Fake bacon also tasted good. Mushrooms gave the dish a nice flavor. I would never have thought of giving a vegan place 5 stars and then I ate here.

Food was delicious! I have recently transitioned to pescatarian lifestyle. I was looking for a good vegan asain restaurant. So good! Try their pad Thai ew with soy beef and their orange chicken. I was so surprised how they replicated meat! I knocked off a star becuase I ordered their veggie dumplings but I was not a fan of. No worries everyone has their own likes and dislikes. I will be ordering again soon and can't wait to try other items! I wish they carried sesseame bread. Thank you "my vegan" for giving me asian cuisine back in my life!

Clean and friendly atmosphere. On a Friday night, make reservations. Less than a 5 min wait on other days/times. The menu is long and there are Thai, American, and Mexican dishes on the menu. The food is superb. Soy chicken is delicious. Their cashew cheese is pretty good too. They have some staple Thai dishes and some interesting ones as well. The combo meals are a great value.

I was expecting a great meal based on others reviews, but my high expectations were exceeded. This is surely one of the finest restaurants in Ghana. Ben, the owner/chef, has run a very popular vegan restaurant in London for 18 years and opened this restaurant last year to give back to his country. The preparation of my meal was fantastic -- on par with any of the great restaurants I have been fortunate enough to experience throughout Europe and North America. My dining was further elevated by the warm, sincere service. I look forward to returning whenever I travel to Accra again!

5 stars for Farmacy because of their amazing customer service assistance last night. When Deliveroo failed to deliver my burger after waiting an hour, I called up the restaurant and explained the issue to them. They happily accepted a new order from me after the kitchen was already closed and it got to me quickly! My absolute favorite vegan burger around and they even included free fries for the inconvenience which wasn't even their fault! Thanks Farmacy.

We booked the Alchemy Room for a small celebration of our wedding. It couldnt be more perfect. The food was incredible and so much of it that everyone was full through the half of it. The waiters and waitresses assigned to the room were very friendly and made sure we were taken care of at all times. It’s difficult to dine with other people when you’re gluten and lactose free but Farmacy made it not only possible but a memorable experience. I would recommend this place to anybody. The room is gorgeous as well. And OMG the pancakes! Thank you Farmacy!

Lovely vegan restaurant! I love how it doesn’t really say “vegan” anywhere on the menu and it’s a very fancy looking restaurant. It would be a lovely experience for someone hesitant to try plant-based food. It’s one of the best vegan places I’ve eaten in, 100% recommended. You can tell it’s healthy and you actually feel very well after (no heavy stomach or lethargy). Will defo visit again!

Took my bf here for lunch. What a great experience we had. Staff were friendly when i called to ammend the table booking. Restaurant is designed well and nice and clean (which is imperative during covid). I have to shout out Nola she was amazing, great help with food n cocktail suggestions, which was delicious. My bf has already recommended Farmacy to his brother and we will be returning 100%.

I haven't been back to farmacy in a while but as I was in the area, I decided to grab some lunch. My friend and I ordered the lasagne and middle eastern bowl and we were not disappointed! My only critism is that the portions were a tad bit smaller than we would have liked but the quality of the food was great, as was the service. Highly recommended whether vegan or not. Didn't get a chance to try their non alcoholic spirits due to lockdown but can't wait to return.

Had a great time with my friend! I ordered omakase course and my friend ordered the bento box and it truly didn’t disappoint! Had many different dishes and I especially enjoyed the tempura and ramen. I have also ordered a cold sake and came in a iced jar and iced small cup which was adorable and my friend seemed to enjoy her plum wine as she had a second and also ordered yuzu wine which she enjoyed as well. I had a sip and it was fruity and sweet and sooooo tasty! If I come again I would really want to try the yuzu gin tonic! The service was great and friendly. Would come again and recommend!!

Prices have gone up, quality of food has gone down and service is not what it used to be. Add 10% to any expected bill as a service charge is now compulsory. Not the restaurant we all fell in love with.

The food was tasty but $13+ was way overpriced for the skimpy amounts on a veggie plate. Cashier with tats and facial piercings completed the sale then, without washing her hands, took a sauce container, dipped it into a cold salad with her bear-claw fingernails touching the food, then proceeded to eat it from the cup. Had she used a SPOON to scoop and eat the salad, I might return, but knowing hygiene isn't taken seriously, that was my first and last visit.

The people who work here are so lovely and eager to help. The prices are also reasonable and ordering is quick and easy. The atmosphere is very nice and good for families or groups

There was a long piece of steel wool in my food. I called them and told them what happened they honestly didn’t seem to care at all they didn’t apologize at all or seemed concerned. They told me to just contact Uber Eats to get a refund. They also told me to send them pictures but I don't know what that’s going to do since I’m getting a refund from Uber eats? This is a horrible safety concern and they don’t care ! Please be careful if you decide to eat here!

While traveling to see family. We searched high and low to find a place that served vegan food. The GPS directed us here and we are so glad it did. The young man at the counter was very helpful and polite. Everything he suggested looked great. We ordered jerk unchicken(as I call it) over rice, mac and cheese, and greens. Pot roast over rice, strawberry cake and peach sorbet. Everything was delicious. The jerk taste more like Bbq then jerk but very good. I even got my none vegan family and friends eat their food. We will all be back!

This is a great place for vegan lovers. I have 2 complaints though. I think the people serving the food should wear hair caps to protect the food. I also think the customer service could be better. Please add different kinds of beans to the menu.

I ordered the kung pao chicken with soy chicken instead of tofu, which was a nice option available. It came with brown rice. I spooned small portions of the rice into the kung pao chicken bowl and totally loved eating it with the chicken and veggies and the wonderfully flavorful sauce pooled in the bottom of the bowl. I also ordered two vegan egg rolls which were crispy and tasty and came with their own separate little bowl of dipping sauce. Everything was really good and I thoroughly enjoyed the flavors of the food. Lots of people were ordering takeout and delivery so the secret is out. Highly recommend!!

Good spot for decent vegan dishes. While I love a lot of their dishes others can be a hit or miss. Their vegan meet though is amazing, it looks and tastes just like real meat. Along with that, most of their dishes are super flavourful and make you think you are eating non-vegan food. Nice place for a quick well priced vegan dinner! Would recommend

This place has better Thai food compared to our favorite vegan spot in the San Francisco Bay area. We ordered Tom kha soup with noodles and it was so creamy and delicious. Noodles, lemongrass, tofu, and the coconut milk all were so flavorful and tasty. Highly recommend this dish. They even accommodated our Jain dietary restriction of no onion potatoes garlic. Server was a little rude/ignorant but the food itself made our experience a5 ? one

They've been here on Arroyo for quite a few years now and things are very consistent. The food is tasty and reasonably priced. I love the veggie beef jerky with lettuce leaves, the jade rice, yellow curry and you can't go wrong with the pad thai. I love Pasadena My Vegan. I'm glad this place is still running strong!

  • 3/5 James W. 4 years ago on Google
My Vegan is a good alternative for nonvegans. Somehow, Thai flavors meld well with most vegan oriented dishes. It is a healthy and good alternative for a small step. Eagle Rock is one of their latest locations opened. The dining room is small and yet intimate with polished concrete floors and hard seating. The Thai staples of Pad Thai, Pad Sew Eu, various noodle, and soup dishes are accurately done up here. You may not even miss the usual ingredients. There may be some inherent differences in the shrimp, but they there subtle. There are also burgers available here using Beyond Meat substitutes. Yes, the texture is close to the real thing and the flavors are cleverly mimicked in a near scary way. It is an alternative, so it is up to you to accept it yourself.

Pleasantly surprised by this place. Of course it isn't difficult to adapt Asian cuisine to vegan as dairy isn't a big part of everyday meals. I am not a fan of " faux meat". However, I was impressed by the texture of their "vegan meat". We would go back again.

I ordered the spicy eggplant and the My Vegan Dal. I never got the eggplant. And the Dal didn't have lentils in it as described. It was just a giant bowl of quinoa with three giant pieces of broccoli that were impossible to eat. With a side of rice. So just carbs. As a vegan I try hard to make sure I order things with protein (ie lentils). Disappointing experience.

Delicious!! I ordered the spicy basil noodle with soy chicken. Honestly, this has been one of the best vegan meals I've had! And they really paid attention to the special requests, whereas at other places I sometimes questioned if the special requests were even relayed to the chef. The portion was decent, so I feel this is a pretty good "bang for your buck" - maybe even a steal - for vegan food in the area. I'd probably be full eating just half of the portion they gave me, but it tasted good enough that I'm eating all of it. I haven't tried the other stuff here yet, but it all looks so good that this probably won't be the only time I eat here ... I'm likely coming back even after my "fast" is over :)

I really like this little vegan place. It is mostly a Thai restaurant, but has some vegan burger and sandwich options. I have so far tried their deluxe fried rice, cashew combos, spicy eggplant combos, and pad thai. I like the special pad thai most. A very big portion, solid ingredients, just a little too sweet to my taste. But it can last two meals for me! The fried rice has too much fake meat that I don't like, and it is on the oily side. Th combos are good deal too. I like the basil taste from the spicy eggplant, a good choice as well. Never very crowded, a lot of delivery and take-out I guess. A good place for a quick lunch.

Nice little Café with a Vegan selection of drinks and dishes ideal for a quick bite. The owners are extremely welcoming and the food was delicious. The homemade chutney was a real surprise with a good spicy kick which complemented the wrap and the dahl was creamy and filling. I have had dosa before and it can be quite oily and heavy but this one was light and moist, not over crispy. I had a carrot orange and ginger cold juice but there is a hot drinks choice as well. I need to get back to work my way through the Menu, I have the feeling that I won't be disappointed... 😋

Best place I've been to in London so far. The food is soooo good but the staff is the best part. They are so nice I felt so comfortable working in the cafe all day (with the nice wifi.) I got breakfast and lunch during my time there and they were both fantastic. I got two drinks and two meals for only 10 pounds. Such a great deal and so good and filling. The space is super open plenty of spaces to sit around with friends or plug in your laptop and work for a couple hours. I really hope I can come here more before I leave because it's such a gem.

Will probably come again during my stay! :) Update: My second visit was even better! Make sure you try the seven chef's choices for 16€, it was absolutely delicious! The white house wine is also quite tasty...👍

Delicious homemade bean burger and fries. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Slightly off the beaten track in the old town but that is a plus. Away from the endless restaurant touts asking for your business. 😁👍

The tastiest food we had in Rhodos Town and we are not even vegetarians. We had lunch and we've ordered the 7 dishes - a combination of starters and mains they have on the day. We were served a vegan feta that I wouldn't have known is not the real thing, apparently made in Greece. Highly recommended for foodies. Service is also great. Thanks so much for delighting our taste buds!

Such a great find! We had a wonderful 7 dish veggie/vegan lunch - a complete bargain - that was packed full of flavour, and still with traditional greek style. There is clearly a talented chef behind the scenes.

Very nice place, ambience is good and food is nice. I'd recommend the vegetable risotto. Vegan and vegetarian food. Staff was very kind Covid-19 measures: hand sanitizing gel available, tables cleaned after each client

One of the best vegan meals I've ever had out. Me and a couple of friends got various tapas to share, and it was all so incredible. I would definitely suggest going for the 'chef's choice' of mixed dishes, especially if there are several of you as you get to try lots of different dishes and it ended up being so much food! As it was a vegetarian restaurant, I was not at all expecting all the additional vegan alternatives they had, such as vegan feta, vegan moussaka etc. The staff were lovely, the ambiance was great and it seemed the most popular restaurant in town when I was there. Places like this make me so happy to be vegan and keep me inspired! Thank you!

Perfect place! Delicious food and a very nice staff! We are not vegetarian, but we loved it :) the musaka was the best one we had so far :) wine was very good as well. Worth visiting, a perfect alternative to heavy greel meats :)

Beautiful vegan/vegetarian eatery in the heart of the old town of Rhodes. Great service and the food is super fresh, clean and innovative. Definitely recommend for any vegetarian/vegans looking for a great place to lunch or dine. I had the savour pancakes which were absolutely stunning and the lime-coco cheesecake. You can tell everything uses natural sugars where possible and food was light, filling and delicious.

Love it! Amazing food, kind people, very personal service. Best place for vegan/vegetarian food on the island! I highly recommend the vegan Halloumi, be sure to give it a try! The “Chef’s Choice” is also a great deal - you get to try different menu items and it is definitely filling as a meal. Perfect if you can’t decide!

(Translated by Google) We visited the MAROULI for the first time on this trip. Although you can find enough vegetarian or vegan food in every good Greek restaurant, we were very excited about this 100% vegi concept and we were not disappointed. The pretty little eatery is located in one of the Axis side streets in the old town and, in addition to the terrace, has tables along the way. The service is very friendly. We found it funny that the Greek waiter was able to explain the dishes better in English, because mostly tourists or foreign-speaking locals come to eat. In order to get to know the kitchen, we decided to order a selection consisting of seven mini dishes for € 16 per person. We thought everything was pretty tasty, but we already have our favorites for the next visit: pasta with anthotiro (or mezithra?) And tomatoes, breaded cauliflower with a sweet and sour sauce and the grilled aubergine with tomatoes and veggie feta. I was particularly surprised by the delicious vegan feta. I don't know whether you can still call it feta, but as a soft white cheese it is very tasty and according to the waiter from the Greek company KOLIOS. A small mini-invitation at the end of the dinner would have brought the contemporary concept back to the hospitable Greek soil, but that can be implemented as an improvement. No ouzo, please! We will be back.

Went here for lunch on a Sunday. Even though they didn't take a reservation on the phone we didn't have to wait too long for a table. The ambience of the place is delightful and so is the staff. Very courteous and helpful. When I ordered a wine the staff instead offered me a taster so I could order better! 😬 The breakfast burrito was tasty and so was the red lentil lasagna. I think the portion sizes could be slightly bigger but the taste was appetizing and refreshing. Great menu and drinks! Will definitely visit again!

This place was a big let down - i think all the five-star reviews are from people who don't know how good vegan food tastes like. Also they seem not to know how to keep things stocked, over the course of the evening i've heard no less than five times they ran out of one thing or another. Even the beer i asked about, i was told they haven't had that in months?? This restaurant is what happens when trendiness is more important than food quality - not to mention the small portions - my partner and I had to order three mains and a starter and we still ended up leaving not full. Our first mains we shared, it was a mexican dish and they included FOUR WHOLE tortilla chips for the entire bowl. four... we went through all four in a minute or two and still had a bit left in the bowl, so we asked if we could perhaps get some more, but the waitress proceeded to lose the sense of urgency and by the time she had finished taking someone else's order, we had already finished the plate. one of the cocktails had a very peculiar aftertaste, the desert wasn't all that, tasted like a sponge (was supposed to be cheesecake) and the hot chocolate was rubbish too (seriously how can you screw that up? oh right, vegan cream).. this is what happens when you try to imitate non-vegan dishes as vegan things, just why? and then we ended up getting the bill and it was a bit of a shock how much was spent for how little we received. someone's really trying to cashing in on the vegan crazy - really just one disappointment after another, i won't consider coming back to this place nor recommending it to anyone else.

Extremely expensive and cheap quality ingredients. We went in for the burgers and after ordering and waiting 10mins the waiter came and said they had run out. The little Chinese manager was not helpful and really found zero customer care. The dishes are all extremely overpriced for the size and quality of ingredients. Normally like to promote vegan restaurants but farmacy really take advantage of the fact they are vegan

Excellent table service. Cant wait to go again.

I’ve been to Farmacy two times and I have to say overall, it’s highly overrated. This last time I went, my friend had the breakfast burrito and it looked like something you would get in economy class on a flight. It was small, dry, and disappointing. I ordered the burger that was the first item on the menu and a whopping £16 and it again looked a meal I would get at the airport. Unthoughtful, small, and completely underwhelming. I’m happy to pay high prices for good food, but my meal at Farmacy was nowhere near the prices charged. The staff also were highly absent and didn’t come to check in on our meals. Despite the beautiful decor, the food and service is subpar and won’t be back.

The staff were lovely, and the restaurant itself is beautiful! I was brought a voucher for their High Afternoon Tea (for two), but unfortunately the service and food was disappointing. On arrival we were seated and talked though what we would be eating. There was no Tea on the menu and when I suggested about getting a drink we were informed there was a cocktail included - Great. Time was going by and we notice we had been sitting at the table for 45 minutes now and our glasses had been dry for about 30 minutes. No one came over to offer us a drink or anything, and we had to call someone to ask about the food and the Tea's (this is an afternoon tea). After about 50 minutes our food tower arrived - Yipeee! Our 1st cup of tea (55 minutes after being seated) arrived - Yipeee! Hang On.... What's this? Scones? No, not really, they were like thick dry Biscuits that just crumbled! I saw a lovely macaroon as part of the sweet selection. I go to pick it up and it just melts! The sandwiches had great flavour, but were dry. Once I spoke to the staff they were very accommodating and apologetic, but it shouldn't have happened in the first place. Very disappointing for me! Such a shame!

Nice cocktails but the smoothies and food seemed unimpressive and slightly bland. Crumbly falafel, watery mac n cheese, and an unsatisfying burger with soggy/mushy sweet potato fries. Also had no French toast on the menu when we arrived. Quite expensive considering what you're getting...

  • 2/5 Jacques Van Der W. 3 years ago on Google
The website makes this place look nicer than it is. It’s crowded like a fast food chain. Zero ambiance, untidy. No one even wiped the table between courses. Service is average at best. The worst part? The overpriced food. Everything we ate was average and flavourless. Pad Thai was over cooked and mushy for 16 quid. Mushroom tacos were a joke and bland. Cheesecake was tiny and actually gross for a tenner. Giving vegans a bad name but still cashing in.

I went for my friends birthday, the environment is very nice, and the waiter was nice too. But unfortunately the food was just ok/average, the main course i had was horrible, which I didn't eat and at the end when they asked me how my food was (they had not asked me previously) I told them I didn't like it, the waiter offered me a drink or desert, but I didn't want to eat further after not enjoying the food I had been given so far so asked for main course to just be removed from my bill. He very embarrassingly said they couldn't/wouldn't do that! My friend went to the front desk and made a complaint but they were adamant they would not remove that item from the bill and made things awkward and difficult. In an establishment like this one would expect an immediate apology and OFFER to take the item off the bill without further question. Incredibly poor service, and because of this I would never return, as Farmacy clearly do not care if their customers are happy. It's basically get what you're given or tough. Terrible and actually ruined my friends birthday meal. Totally unacceptable.

I had the big version of the Garden Salad which was advertised as a main dish. The salad was tiny and bland. Not suitable as a main dish. Only 5 thin disks of the advertised garden vegetables. This came with no bread, only leaves and a few seeds costing 13£. Ridiculous. Honestly avoid. The evening Menu is very small and has no option with a decent amount of protein. If you are trying to eat a balanced diet skip this restaurant.

We booked the Alchemy room for a private event at Farmacy, for our wedding after our civil ceremony. We were extremely impressed with the staff in organising the event, with Diane always being responsive to answer any questions and accommodating any requests. On the day, the service was great with our own dedicated waiter being on hand throughout. The room itself is beautiful, full of greenery and natural light. The food was a bit pricey for what it is, although was presented beautifully. We’re very happy with how it all went, thank you to all at Farmacy for contributing towards our special day! 😊

Really lovely meal — highly recommend. In terms of Covid-19 precautions: menus via QR code on your smartphone to limit contact, hand sanitiser available; however staff don't wear masks, tables were more spaced out but didn't feel physically distanced in the 2 metre sense. Nevertheless, felt safe and comfortable throughout.

This is one of the best places for a meal on the highway. It's subsidised by the paramilitary command based in the region. Though simple the food really tastes great. The people handling it are courteous. Now I don't exactly know if we stumbled on to a Biryani that is integral to national security or the sentry guarding the place has a serious velvet rope syndrome. Honestly! You can't take pictures of the BIG BOARD visible from the highway that says something about Biryani!!!

We really enjoyed our dinner here, loved the many small dishes especially the croquette! Really lovely flavours! The yuzu gin was delicious! It also felt very safe and secure in terms of COVID (tables a good distances apart and lots of space etc.). Looking forward to returning!

Our night here was gorgeous! I came here with a friend this evening. It was a very understated and modest restaurant. We weren't expecting the food and service to be so fantastic but it really was! Due to covid we had to preorder what kind of meal we were having so we went for the more expensive option and it did not disappoint. Sushi, ramen, tempura, and cheesecake made us so happy! Thank you! 🥰

What an amazing place! Really delicious vegan food! Having been to Japan only a couple of months ago, this really reminded me of small and cosy restaurants there. It's a perfect place for a dinner date. Service was very friendly and efficient. Food is also well priced. Can't wait to be back again!!

We came to Itadaki Zen to celebrate a birthday :) My birthday friend is vegan so we decided to of course come to an all vegan place and Itadaki was the best choice we ever made. The food was absolutely amazing, as well as the place. One of my friends and I are not vegan and we absolutely loved the food :D so did my vegan friend :D I definitely recommend it :) Small , stress free restaurant with amazing food! What else can you ask for ?

back better than ever. You choose the 5 course menu or bento box when you book (either a 6pm or 8pm). We had the 5 course - and in a different location this food was so good I'd suspect it would have wait lists and hype to get in. Here there is nt that. just superbly good food, well thought out veggie flavours, tastes and textures. (And I'm not hyping here - its up there with some great places I was fortunate enough to visit in Japan). So, great food, unglamorous location (but easy to get to being near Kings Cross) and top marks for doing it own thing well. The dining room is plain, but spotlessly clean, and for the covid-concerned tables are well spaced.

Had to order a set menu in advance ( dishes were not written) , when we received the food to the table the waiter didn’t mention any of the dishes and what we are going to eat ... food was OK but nothing special and quite pricey for what we ate...

This place makes amazing sushi, tempura, ramen, and other plant-based delights. The dessert is fab as well, with sesame, matcha, fresh fruit, etc. You can practically taste the energy and intention that the chef put into every bite.

Came here for the Bento box 25£. The food was nice but was extremely overpriced. Also the restaurant was very grimey and unclean. I had a quick look in the kitchen and wished I hadn't. I wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Did not enjoy at all. The two main dishes they had looked like they had been sitting there for days so we decided to at least try the sides, that wasn’t the best decision. The macaroni and cheese had a burned taste, was dry and really bad flavor, the yams didn’t taste fresh so this place would be a no for return.

Great food! Don't let the area for you. I ended up driving past this place twice before I found it but I'm really glad I did! The veggie pot pie with gravy was delicious. The rice was very good as well and the yams were sweet and soft. The portion sizes I felt were very fair as I was not able able to finish it all in one sitting. The only complaint was the city bread, was a bit dry and not sweet enough for my taste. But i did like how it was way too break apart and very crumbly . Worth your time to stop by and give this place a try!

Update: Unfortunately, I learned the hard way that first impressions are not always the best to judge by. The following week we ordered again in hopes we would have the same type of brilliant experience. Sadly, the food was not as satisfying. Summation-if you stick to the Asian food choices you will do fine. We tried other items and the taste failed all around. :( Stick to the Asian food. This restaurant is perfect! About one year ago my son became a vegan. Our tradition is to order delivery on Friday nights. It has been a struggle to find good food for him. There have been more misses than hits. He discovered My Vegan, so we ordered delivery last Friday night. The world of vegan food was opened up for him. For the first time he could choose whatever he wanted from the menu. The food was AMAZING! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for providing such a perfect experience!

It's a My Vegan Restaurant and our server was very nice. The My Vegan Restaurant is higher than it should be for what you get so that's what makes me give it three stars. There are My Vegan Restaurant places to go to in the area.

Being vegan, there’s a lot more choices in LA than most cities. When I moved to Pasadena, one of the first places I went to was My Vegan, and have gone back many many times since. All of there food is so good, their mock-meats are out of this world and even the pricing-to-proportion ratio is awesome. Really can’t go wrong with anything here, and will be trying the breakfast food next. Egg Rolls, Mushroom soup, and fried rice are musts.

This is one of the best Vegan restaurants. Their wings..I can't even explain how delicious. The MAC and Cheese...is so creamy, cheesy and thick. So much flavor in the cabbage. This is the bomb!! I had the vegetarian fried rice with fried tofu.,Amazing! Something in the sauce makes this dish sing! I usually order postmates but my daughter and I were close by and I asked her what she wanted for lunch and she said," noodles, plain noodles, can I have noodles only for lunch!?" So,we had to stop in,right!? The food was amazing as usual. Except for a small misstep,I order the same, everytime because of health restrictions and the lady behind the counter didn't hear the "fried" part of fried tofu,so I had to come back for remake of tofu. It was graciously accepted back for a remake. The only tiny situation that almost made me take a star away, was the tiny bit of unnecessary comment said by the lady," You must remember that you have to say fried,if you want fried otherwise it's all steamed." Kind of condescending but she was still quite friendly with great customer service. I told her,I usually order postmates and it's right, maybe you just didn't hear me." I usually don't like saying this in my reviews but I've been in the food industry for 30yrs as a server and trainer of servers, up to a Le Cordon Bleu chef that mentors chefs. I know what I ordered. But as stated, they were friendly, efficient and good customer service with DELICIOUS FOOD. And remember,if fried tofu is 1$ more than steamed, make that extra dollar. Upsale,we'd appreciate it,especially if you didn't hear me say fried. Can't be lazy in a restaurant. But I will be back, probably in 2days. They offered to remake for free but I paid for it anyways in support of businesses during this time. I suggest you work your way around the menu and try it all. DELICIOUS!!

The Spicy Ramen is bland (not even spicy) and honestly not worth to try. Worst part, I wasn't even trying heckle for free food but I have to pay 40% of what that thing was even though I didn't even touch the stupid thing. Honestly, I rather run out of here than bug for more *free* food. 🙄 Besides that their other food is from decent to really good. But if this was my first impression of this place. I'd walk out as it feels insulting that I have to pay for their science experiment.

absolutely fire. some of the best thai and vegan foods in town. the imitation jerky is bomb, impossible fries - bomb. fish a la creme...so #@$*ing good, crispy outside, soft inside. be warned theyre pretty early phase in their service model - not a lot of tables to sit, only 1-2 servers total and half the room is tables slammed together for deliveries/pickup. despite all that, this spot ranks with Real Food Daily in terms of quality, definitely a must try for all (even the not so vegan eater).

Vegan food on a Sunday night #meatlesssundays ITEM'S ORDERED: Yellow Curry RIPP (Rest in Peace Porky) TASTE: The RIPP comes with broccoli, baby carrots & cole slaw. The "meat" is really aromatic & flavorful. Pretty sweet flavor with savory to balance it out. I ate it with Sriracha which I think it needs. Has a really good, dense meaty chew to it. It's one of those flavors & textures you can just keep on eating. In some ways it's almost too flavorful as I kept thinking it would work well with rice. I'm surprised I actually liked the coleslaw much more than I would. Maybe it's because it's vegan mayo (not as heavy/thick) or the seasoning, it was tasty but maybe just a little bit sweet towards the end. The side of steamed broccoli & baby carrots were just to basic for me. For some reason the broccoli was actually (fridge) cold. Yellow curry is a solid curry dish. It's a very deep tumeric heavy, savory, little sweet flavor that works well with the noodles. Very minimal spice as I've found with other yellow curry. I do wish the noodles were more al dente. SERVICE, LOCATION & PARKING: Postmates order so no real comments on service. Food was very fresh though & did not have to reheat the curry. Everything was packaged well & securely. They are located in a strip mall with its own parking lot. They are pretty much right across the street from the very popular Lucky Boy. Food overall was good & I'd like to check the place out for dine in service in the near future.

1st time there, visit was pleasant. We had Pad Thai, Yellow Curry Noodle and Supreme Fried Rice. They were all good, but the Fried Rice was everyone's favorite.

The food gets real soggy fast. Often they can not understand you due to a language barrier. They mess up the order at times and then lie, plus do not fix the problems. If that happens, they are rude about it all. They also randomly close so if you drove far you will wait too long for them to re-open. They do not package food well. It spilled all over me, the car, my clothes, and everything. Plus, the parking lot gets all crazy too. There is limited seating and no bathroom. After years of coming here, I'm just too fed up now. One or two visits may be fine, but after a while you may notice such issues.

Tom Kah is my favorite soup ever but I rarely see it on menus let alone vegan. I stopped by on a cold rainy day and it hit the spot. Wonderfully warm and sour just like me.

My experience at My Vegan here in Pasadena was amazing. Food quality is amazing, I had the Pad Thai and the Steamed Dumplings. 10/10 and will be returning to try even more of the menu. Service was very attentive. Food was the perfect balance of comfort and healthy.

First time trying this place and I was amazed! Orange chicken was one of the best I tried so far! Highly recommend if you love vegan food and want something new!

Came on on a Saturday night solo. Was seated quickly. Amazing & fast service! The yellow curry noodles were incredible!

I went to dinner with a friend and her mother. It's a small place not that many tables. The service was great I thought! There was a lot of take out orders. The food was delicious! We're figuring out when can we go back again!

My Vegan is so good! The two best items on the menu are the orange chicken and the coconut curry noodle soup. Delicious! (Sorry in the photo I ate all the soup already 😋)
