As someone who loves Renaissance Art, this whole museum was definitely my place. The mansion was an art itself and there were so many great pieces dating back to 14-15th century. You will definitely need a couple of hours to visit the place. However, I wish they have some more information about the mansion like what room it used to be, etc. I tried to ask the staffs there but they also had no idea 😅 otherwise great place!

Sinebrychoff Art Museum was founded by Nikolai Petrovich Sinebryukhov or Sinebrychoff in Finnish (1788-1848), he was the Russian peasant from the Vladimir region in Central Russia who, together with his brothers, moved to the Great Duchy of Finland and opened several breweries. In 1819, he opened his most famous brewery in Siomenlinna (Sweaborg) Fortress. In 1842 he has built another brewery in Helsinki and a Palace at Bulevardi 40, where he founded the Museum of Fine Arts. Today, it is known as Sinebrychoff Art Musem. Sinebrukhov Art Museum, Helsinki, Finland 🇫🇮. February 18, 2022.

The house floor is closed, and I'm not sure that the current exhibition is worth the price unless you are really into European masters.

Nice museum depicts the big mansion usual living of XIX century. The exhibition is interesting full of daily life items and furniture. The place is well taken care and also nearby the Kamppi metro station in downtown.

Nice collection of art! The permanent collection is a mix of various styles and the temporary art was of a modern Finnish artist and was cool as well. There is also a big and detailed collectie of miniaturs.

Personally I really enjoy this cozy space where exhibitions so many fine arts, which are allowed to be observed closely. All in all, it’s quite an unique art museum to explore. Definitely will revisit soon.

An extraordinarily attractive museum in downtown Helsinki. Strong recommendation. The building itself is old, in Finland's perspective, and hosts both a permanent exhibition upstairs and varying exhibitions on the first floor.

(Translated by Google) The museum currently houses the Tiepolo Venice in the North exhibition. It will continue until January 10, 2021. I liked Trojan Horse the most in a series of three paintings. There’s all sorts of fun in the museum shop; worth a look! Admission to the upstairs home museum is free. You will receive a stamp card at the box office and 3 stamps from the state art museums (Ateneum Kiasma and Sinebrychoff) as a gift. This offer is valid until 10 January 2021. (Original) Parhaillaan museossa on Tiepolo Venetsia Pohjolassa -näyttely. Se jatkuu 10.1.2021 asti. Pidin eniten kolmen maalauksen sarjasta Troijan hevonen. Museokaupassa on kaikenlaista kivaa; kannattaa käydä katsomassa! Yläkerran kotimuseoon on maksuton sisäänpääsy. Kassalta saatte leimakortin ja kolmella leimalla valtion taidemuseoista (Ateneum Kiasma ja Sinebrychoff) saatte lahjaksi 3 muistivihkoa.Tämä tarjous on voimassa 10.1.2021 asti.

A museum showing a collection of classical European art, with some examples of Rembrandt and other masters. Unfortunately during our visit the second floor house museum part was closed, however we still had to buy a full price ticket, which was a bit disappointing as the rest of the museum/collection is not very big. I also hoped to get a better overview of the house and Sinebrychoff family.

Sinebrychoffin taidemuseossa on esillä norjalaisen Peder Balken Arktisen lumo-näyttely tammikuulle asti. Joulukuussa myös esillä joulukattauksia kotimuseossa.

An art museum with an exceptional collection. The museum is located in a magnificent town house from the 19th century, every detail of which is meticulously designed. In addition to paintings, a charming collection of craft is integrated into the place. All of these together create a unique home visiting experience and take us to another period in time... Please note that entrance to the first floor is free!

Nice collection, unfortunately the 2 nd floor, that is the most particular part of the museum, was closed because of renovations. I discovered it only after the end of the tour still paying the full price of 16 €. Also it wasn’t written anywhere on the website or neither at the entrance before the visit. Suggesting to visit it only after the end of the renovations.

The museum on the second floor exhibits old European art and home to Finland's most valuable collection of paintings. Splendid and gorgeous by its interior and paintings. The first floor of the museum is an exhibition area of Renaissance paintings.

Definitely quite a different museum in Helsinki. You'll encounter more central European collection. We ran into a temporary Japanese woodblock print exhibition which was absolutely gorgeous and very different. There could be more information on the rooms, paintings, and furniture (however we didn't use the audio tour using QR code, conventional info could be useful still). Overall worth a visit.

I like Sinebrychoff museum for it's cosy atmosphere and because it always offer something unique for art lovers. Now it's a small exhibition of Japanese drawings that capture your gaze and hypnotize you.

A gorgeous, underappreaciated gem for lovers of old art. The home museum was incredible, the collection has names such as Kauffmann, Boucher & Rembrandt, and the To Rome exhibition was amazing. The museum is also perfectly sized: not too big and not too small.

Upea, ainutlaatuinen Peder Balke, Arktisen lumo -taidenäyttely.

Sai paljon uutta tietoa. Se oli tosi hyvä. Kerrosten välillä pääsi liikkumaan hissillä. Henkilökunta oli kohteliasta ja löytyi huumorin tajuakin. Näyttely oli hyvä. Tilat avarat. Hieno paikka.

(Translated by Google) Favorite Museum in Helsinki. A charming time travel to art and the history of the Sinebrychoff family. High-quality and informative changing exhibitions as well as an impressive upstairs art collection in a nicely furnished home museum. Numerous musical performances have also been enjoyed before the corona in the upstairs ballroom. In addition, the museum has a charming museum shop flooded with beautiful products inspired by the collections of the Sinebrychoff Museum. (Original) Lempimuseo Helsingissä. Ennen koronaa on nautittu myös lukuisista musiikkiesityksistä yläkerran juhlasalissa. Museolla lisäksi viehättävä museokauppa tulvillaan kauniita tuotteita Sinebrychoffin museon kokoelmien inspiroimina.
