There are a few things broken - like some of the games, and some of the Finlayson English audio, but other than that it's an incredible day out! you definitely need a around 30min-1 hour per exhibit, so can happily spend an entire day there. The café is nice, selling a variety of hot and cold food, with a huge number of tables (bringing own lunch not permitted - as we found out!).

I went to see Vaprikis Knights exhibition. There were very nice illustrations of different eras knights armour types. Also the info boards was really interesting and comprehensive.

Its a great museum and very cheap, feels like a bargain. You need a lot of time to go around it, at least 3 hours is recommended to fully see all of it. Has a restaurant and nice staff. This Museum Centre offers about a dozen different exhibitions of widely varied topics which will appeal to anyone basically. We only allowed about 4 hours to spend there, which wasn’t nearly enough to see and read everything. I would say a full day is needed to enjoy the whole place. Student discount available!

Excellent set of museums which has to be visited when you are in Tampere and have some spare time. You need reserve approx 3 hours to take a look some history of Tampere (and Finland if course), craft, land etc.

Our group set out to find the Finland Hockey Hall of Fame. We were in Finland to work the Global Series games for the NHL and were happy to find it was in the same town. The whole complex was really cool. Multiple museums in the same place, we were able to check out hockey, textiles, animals, and games. Unfortunately we ran out of time. I could have spent a whole day here investigating the different floors. Would love to return some day.

The museum surprised me with all the things it had. It had lot of different themes which all I found atleast pretty interesting. You could even play a lot of the retro ganes in there, such as Boulder Dash! Definitely a recommend for this place, compares to Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias in Valencia, Spain.

If in Tampere and want to learn more about winter war, definitely worth to visit. They have really good and interactive exhibition and you can learn a lot about their history.

Wow! This place is huge and they have so many museums. We really liked Post museum, Game museum and Stone museum. One thing was not good – they didn't have satisfying vegan options for lunch. We needed to go to another place to eat although other visitors could eat at this building. This was quite disappointing :(

We spent a full 4 hours not including lunch break (which was also very nice). And we all want to return. From the fairy tale exhibition that relates stories back to Finnish history to a gaming experience to the Hockey Fame of hall to the Natural Museum.
