Went for my Mother's final rituals Pooja. Ghat is near to the railway Track. Maintainance is okay. Can be maintained well. Cleanliness must be maintained by the municipal Authorities. People are playing in the water. We can find many Poojari's here who'll perform the final rituals. You've to first ask the Poojari's about the money or else after completion of the Pooja they'll demand more. Our old poojari had collected 1700 rupees from us.

We took tickets from the counter itself and was asked to wait for 10 to 15mins ⌛. 4. The good point in the boating was they don't wait for the boat 🚢 to be full may be it's because being operated by AP Gov tourism, we were like 12 members and boat capacity was 40+ but they just started the ride. 5. We can see two bridges 🌉 old and new both having railway tracks in and out, while going under them it was really good and saw trains 🚂 coming and going it's was scenic view 🪟, can see the pictures. 6. They'll take about 20mins ride and will drop you at the bank of the river 🏞️. Worth visiting and please maintain the Ghat clean and clear it's our individual's duty. Thanks 🙏

This ghat is located nearby 1.8 km from railway station, which is beside banks of sacred River Godavari. At this ghat from 4 am there will priests for doing last wishes or last rituals to our relatives who passed away. For devotees there were also showers for who were not doing bath at River Godavari. For last rites we have to carry ashes. We have to bargain with pujaris or priests, which they have packages starting from 2000rs,3000rs,5000. But we can bargain till it comes to 1000rs. Because of bad weather, today they arrived late at 7 am,but usual time is 4am. Only few priests available today, then they charged me finally 1500.🙏🙏🙏🙏

You need to buy ticket for Godavari boat ride. Ticket 50 INR per one person minimum 10 people. If you pay 500 INR there is no minimum people required you can enjoy with family ,couple or friends group without bother number of people. Ride takes approximately 25 miniuts riding through both the railway bridges.

Very famous Godavari Ghat. River view is fantastic 😍. opposite to there is famous Hindu temple Sri Venugopala swamy temple,which must a visit. It's near Anjaneeya swami Temple. You could have basic things needed. We have taken in Krishna River, no bathroom, no cloths changing rooms. The steps of the are good in condition .

Is there anyone who doesnt love Godavari. Going to the ghat and sitting for a while gives peace. And my sincere request to everyone, please do not throw any plastics or any garbage in the river. I have seen lot of garbage in the river. Anyone at the ghat can also see lot of plastic bottles, covers. Till the time we keep it clean we can visit the ghat and sit. The difficult thing is parking, changing rooms and washrooms.

Views of the river and the bridges on both sides is a fantastic from the ghat.The river is so big as it reminds me the song " vedamla gochinche godavari.... kottukoni poyee koti lingalu veereshalingam okadu migile...". and the meaning of it is .. How big the river is and literally it doesn't matter how many lingams (humans) are born and died here as everything is empty in this universe as you have to leave all your achievements and failures when time comes and the river will be still flowing...

River Godavari looks gorgeous at Rajahmundry with a span of more than 2.5 KMs and three attractive bridges. Beautiful ghats on the river banks are buzzing with a whole range of activities, from meditation to rag picking.

Somebody recommended this Tiffin center. It's a takeaway point as well as attached restaurant. Food is not as good as I expected it to be.

It's a AP tourism operated boating area. Price is reasonable and is an amazing experience for children especially. Boat driver asks for tip in the middle of the ride which is a bit inconvenient

Maily used for pitru karma rituals. Need further maintenance. Some people are using as toilet at night times, which should be restricted immediately.

Spend few minutes at bank of 'Mom' Godavari. The water flow will remove disappointments and fulfil our hearts with peace. People believes that Goddess Ganga stay here in the form of new river together with Lord Shiva.
