WENT TO TOUR ON 12 08 2017 VERY MUCH DISSAPPOINTING THERE IS LACK OF CO ORDINATION BETWEEN THIS TOURISM AND THE TWO BOATS. I HAVE BEEN PROMISED TO SHOW PERANTALAPALLI, WHICH WAS NOT BEEN DONE AND THEY ARE NOT EVEN BOTHERED TO RESPOND TO WHATSAPP MESSAGE VERY SORRY STATE OF SERVICE THE BLUNDER I HAVE DONE BY SELECTING THIS TOURISM. BOAT CONDITION IS ALSO PATHETIC. DUE TO RAIN WE GOT WET FROM KILLURU TO BHADRACHALAM ALL OTHER TOURSIMS WERE SHOWING ALL THE POINTS WHERE AS ONLY YOUR TEAM IS NOT ATTENDING PROPERLY

I witnessed the beauty and serenity of the river Godavari in the Punnami tours and personally I feel that the travels you opt doesn't make any difference. All the boats provided - they are by AP tourism or by any private tours are one and the same. All boats destroy the calmness of the place by their horrible loudspeakers and unwanted programs. In order to go to the boarding point, one has to take a bus journey from Rajahmundry which will be arranged by the travels. The journey is horrible with no proper roads and dust filled atmosphere. Once we reach the boarding point, we can witness the true nature with mountains, land and water all in its true form.Instead of witnessing the usual high rise buildings and tower's, you can witness the beautiful mountains covered by lush green trees; also witness the wide sparkling and green waters and the broad valley's. The quality of food or comfort offered on boat isn't anything to boast about, but the nature you witness will always be something you'll remember throughout your life. :)

Giving single star because of following: -Poor parking at office.. you will have to travel 40km+ at boat pickup for parking vehicle. -Poor hygiene around office...trash everywhere -Poor coordination at office...never know what they are up to... confusion everywhere. officials are not that helpful. -The boat is overcrowded, filthy. The food in boat is not that tasty and have not clue of cooking standards... the store house is poorly maintained. -The management at hut are another confused lot.. they give you the tent slip but you will have to go through each tent to find yours. -The tents are all filled with spiders, cockroaches. have holes in the tent..its stinky..no trash boxes seen.. all trash you will find everywhere. The washrooms are stinky..not maintained properly... have not seen any cleaning people. -food is poor at hut camp.. no cleanliness..will taste mud while eating.. not tasty too. Some positives -Booking was easy -The boat has good entertainment -Boat management is ok but they could have managed it better. -River Godavari was magnificent and equally awesome hills -The concept of Hut in between forest was good. -The entertainment/host group was at their best.. big thumps up for them. 27 Dec Upgrading the review for a nice response from the Owner

Another very good temple in Samalkot

I don't know why..but I love this temple a lot.. I spent my childhood near by this temple.. This Temple once had old walls..doors etc.. but now it is completely remodelled..Now the interior looks beautiful.. This Temple spreads over large extent..By visiting this temple..one can pray to as many as 10 Hindu Gods..u can find tortoises here..

we travelled papikondalu night stay journey in vasista punnami boat. good entertainment and quality food and good service. We are stay at papikondalu bamboo huts. Very good picnic spot and very enchanting and early morning sunrise very beautifully there and beside water stream and very enjoyable tour.

Expected Eco/info tour of these prestigious and significant place, unfortunately it's ruined by this Boat operator with nuisance and unbearable movie songs. I have more @#$%^& vocabulary to use but can't here on the post.Godavari river info, Historic and Mythological know about should have been shared. So called family entertainment is limited to nonsense of dances and movie songs. The loudness of speakers is way too much to handle. Terrible experience at its peak! Long live India 🇮🇳 Unfortunately Losing its importance due to idiots like these

Utter worst experience, they charged 30000 for 4 adults and 2 kids , promised Ertiga car but they gave old Tavera .. the car has many issues and Broke down twice , all our plans got delayed .. they say lunch included but they ask us to go to hotel and eat (of course they pay) but it’s time waste

The Boating experience is amazing. Should give it a try atleast once. Definitely worth it. Costs Rs.1250 for adults and Rs.1050 for children. Cost is Rs.200 less if we come by own transportation to Boating point. Advantage of own transportation is, can reach Boating point by 9.30am. If we take their transportation, need to be at a designated point in Rajamundry by 7.30am. Breakfast, lunch and snacks is provided which is adequate and tasty. Explanation provided by the crew about places during the boat ride is great and helpful. Only concern is that it is in telghu. The crew do a good job of keeping people entertained with music, dance and actually involving the tourists as well. Overall great experience. One thing they can avoid is the loud and non stop music and announcements. It actually takes away the actual beauty of the ride. No point in trying to select the best operator since each day boats are assigned by the association depending on the overall bookings. Toilets are not great again irrespective of the boat we get. They can definitely work on making it better.

Great Service for tour, appreciate Punnami Tourism for their services.

Took one day trip, to papi kondalu and back. First the cons: 1) Rude sales person sitting behind the counter 2) The ride was supposed to start between 9-9:30 am but started 30-45 mins late, and then crew hurried thru the stops, I will explain below 3) First stop was at Temple, the crew gave 20 mins to get back. Old people had to rush thru the staircase. Very tedious for them. If they have leg ache the it will be very tedious. The crew suggested to old people to skip, what is the point to skip when they kept it as a selling point 4) On board entertainment was good. The travellers themselves were asked to perform for songs apart from the performing artists. But the bad part was the performers are not paid by the travel guys. They were requesting for tips but the co-travellers were very generous in the tips. This shows the travel agency being only money minded. Also did not like performers pulling people to dance, even if they were not willing. So get ready to perform. Also some dance steps shown between couple was out of limit, not everyone will feel comfortable with those steps. 5) Like the temple the stop at ashram was also for 20 mins, with lot more stairs to climb. Did not get a chance to enjoy the nature's beauty. 6) During getting back the crew had to pick some travellers back, the crew was late, due to late start, and was shouting and threatening the travellers to climb fast on to boat else they will leave them. 7) Food was average, they took 200 for half kg chicken and 200 for half kg fish, which we had ordered separately. Usual meal which is veg includes rice, fryums, fry, kurma, dal, sambar, curd, pickle 8) On return back the crew arranged for tambola game 20 per ticket, around 30-40 people participated, but the winners were given 50 RS each. If you do the math they kept around 550 for themselves and just gave 250 back. 9) They charged us for car parking, but by the time we reached back no one was there looking after the vehicles parked there. 10) Even the crew members were requesting for tips saying that they do not make much. Pros: 1) The sail was good. 2) Got good pics during the return journey. Especially the sunset. Overall: Skip this travels company, if you find other travel company who gives you more time with the nature then go with them. The travel costed 750 per person, but during boarding I figured some got the ticket for 850 and some for just 550. So be sure to bargain.

Horrible travels. They took us to visit an island and Shiva temple on the way and made us walk on the slippery river bank. There I had an accident and fell down and the boat just left us at that place and went back. We were deserted near the Shiva temple and requested another travels to drop us back. We had to pay extra money and they stole my iPhone 6S and some money from my bag which I had kept on the boat. Very horrible experience.

We booked this awesome tour from Punnami Tourism and Travels. We were provided with morning breakfast, lunch and evening snacks and tea. Also, they employed two people to look after our necessities (Food, tea, safety etc…). We are really thankful to them to make our Holiday joyful throughout the day on river Godavari.Moments spent under the foot hill of Papikondalu will remain the most cherished moments in my life

We had a great one day family trip from Rajahmundry to Papikondalu ! The boat service was commendable! Good food, Great hospitality and entertainment. Staff have taken good care of everyone. They were very much supportive. Life jackets we're provided for all.

In the package they will include snacks but there wont be anything except water and boat guys will ask for trip while getting done and they won't satisfy with the amount which you have given, they will expect 500 to 1000Rs. with little loud arguments. Even in the road transport also same trend will be there.

Had been to papikondalu this year and last year too via punnami tourism... Last year, there were some minor issues wrt the information on return boats due to which we reached late night to the hotel and we have informed them the same... This year we had good experience with them... Have plans to travel next year also 😊
