It's a small station. Adjacent to this Station Godavari River is there. Beautiful location. Always water will be available. Good facilities are available in this station. River has a Pushkar Ghat. Ghat is beautifully constructed.

Standing in the subway station, I began to appreciate the place — almost to enjoy it. First of all, I looked at the lighting: a row of meager light bulbs, unscreened, yellow, and coated with filth, stretched toward the black mouth of the tunnel, as though it were a bolt hole in an abandoned coal mine. Then I lingered, with zest, on the walls and ceilings: lavatory tiles which had been white about fifty years ago, and were now encrusted with soot, coated with the remains of a dirty liquid which might be either atmospheric humidity mingled with smog or the result of a perfunctory attempt to clean them with cold water; and, above them, gloomy vaulting from which dingy paint was peeling off like scabs from an old wound, sick black paint leaving a leprous white undersurface.

Very small station.very few train stop here but good to look......

A very small station just beside the river godavari. Very less trains stop here.passenger count is not much.however it is well maintained and very clean.moreover there is greenery all around..the entire station is filled with small trees.

The Godavari Railway Station area is a Historical place to visit. It also had Underground subway. It is one of the Tourist place, near to main road. The train track connected to station looks quite good, and the train goes through river Godavari , the view is awesome . Make sure that the station has two train routes, All main station trains are not connected to this station. Only passenger trains stops here.

Small station with 2 platforms. But it's the station I've been using since my childhood days, so many memories are linked with this little place. It's right on the Godavari river bank and the view of the train cruising through the new bridge and coming towards you is a sight to behold and if you are on that same train crossing the bridge it's even more better. The station is a victim of poor maintenance and so it doesn't look great but I feel due to its size it's kinda cute , the platforms are covered in dry leaves, and the premises are messy with poor road leading out and bushes around. Like many parks in the town, the little park in front of this station is left to be a waste land. Pure negligence and irresponsibility by Municipal corporation and the railways. Only some trains like passenger trains and few express trains stop here though many other trains pass through this station.

Very bad station master.. Maintenance Is worst here..

Few express trains halt here when they don’t get clearance towards Rajahmundry. Just a two platform station.
