One of the best resort I have visited till now. The receptionists were really helpful and friendly. Great staff who knew how to serve the customer. The room was well equipped and the service was excellent. From the balcony, we could view the beauty of hills and feel the cool breeze. The location of our room was absolutely perfect. I must say the location of the resort is at best place. Our stay at the hotel was just for one day one night even though overall hospitality was excellent.

We came as family, stayed for a week. This could be a 5-star hotel, but it's run like a 3-star one. Amazing surroundings, great location and nice architecture. Staff is always friendly (good atmosphere among them), but not trained. Requests take a long time, service and cleaning is not done thoroughly. The structure is not as great as it was 2 years ago, but still very decent. The main house is loud (you hear every single door slam). Management is very kind and friendly, but also overwhelmed. They are understaffed. Food will be a disappointment. We got bloaty from every single meal. Dreaded it after some time and ordered only the simplest kind. It's too remote to get other food in walking distance. Even here: highly friendly and forthcoming staff. To sum up: they could be so much more but need investment into staff, training and efficiency. If you can ignore that, you'll enjoy a great view, atmosphere, friendly staff and beautiful surroundings.

We Stayed here in May 2023. The property is exceptionally good including the interiors and exteriors, park/ garden, and the view of the mountains from the room. The location is completely surrounded by nature which we love the most. The rooms are spacious with all the functional amenities. The cultural program along with tea & snacks is enjoyable. The staff are fantastic, so courteous and attentive. They did a great job from assisting each and everything. Very easy check-in and Food was amazing. The fresh pineapple juice was very good and there were some fun desserts at the buffet.

Resort is situated on top of a hill. Road to resort is very narrow. Parking space is situated in a lower level. You have to climb the hill after parking the car. But they provide wallet parking facility which i came to know only after climbing the hill. Isolated from all your busy life you can enjoy your vacation in a calm and quiet atmosphere. At first there is some confusion regarding the category of my room. Categories mentioned in website and actual categories are different. But they came to my room and explained it very well and offered me upgrade options. Their hospitality was exceptional. Food was little bit expensive but quantity and quality was good. Morning breakfast was one of the best in Kerala i had. Clean and spacious pool was there, but they are not providing any towels near the pool. Changing room is situated on the backside of the pool which is very difficult to find due to busy grass around the pool. Overall i had a very good experience here and surely recommend for families.

Such a nice place to stay.... With a beautiful ambience and the nature`s beauty. I visited the place last day with my friends. The food was delicious, service was excellent and the overall feeling was wonderful. Kudos to the management and staffs for running this in such a neat and organized way and that is the reason why I am giving 5 stars. Congrats again and keep up the good work!!!

The surroundings of the hotel are beautiful. The food was delicious the cooking lessons were amazing, and the boy who taught them was very nice and polite. The road leading to the hotel was in very bad condition. The cleaning staff kept slamming the doors during the day, it was terrible.

The stay was amazing. We were only here for a day but enjoyed it so much. They also have ayurvedic massage services in house which we couldn't explore due to lack of time. The rooms were awesome, they are not those lavish types but they are decent which are elevated by the view outside the balcony. The service was nice and quick. We ordered for food at the room and other requests which were serviced nicely. The location is beautiful and serene, the view outside the rooms and hotel is heavenly. Definitely would recommend staying here.

I was treated to an offroading experience in my efforts to reach this place.. But the destination was indeed worth it.. The entire hotel complex is integrated so well with the surrounding forest, that at times we feel we are not in a man-made structure.. Definitely one for the nature enthusiasts.. The walkway near the reception area leading to the restaurant was particularly gorgeous, with flowering plants dangling from the ceiling.. But structural beauty is only part of the story.. It has to be complemented with good service as well, and it was certainly the case with this place.. Service was excellent 👌🏻. The breakfast buffet was the best I have tried in a long while, with plenty of options for natives and foreigners alike.. Overall, I had a great time here.. Looking forward to staying here again..

We loved the place. Would love to visit again for sure. Ambience is so amazing. Food quality was great. I stayed there only for one day but it was amazing been there. Bonfire, culinary demonstration was so good.

It was lovely experience staying in Mountain courtyard. Though we had very less time for the hotel, even then we enjoyed it to the fullest. Dinner and breakfast buffet was mouthwatering. Very courteous staff, Jasmine helped me personally for arranging things for my baby. Very delicious food. Evening campfire and music 🎶 was the icing on the top for making good memories. Beautiful greenery and flowers make perfect background for ur pictures. Definitely recommend the property.

Excellent resort with most beautiful views as is set in a jungle. The staff are excellent and very welcoming. The welcome drink, is something I haven't had before ,as it had the most exquisite taste and very refreshing. The resort is set in most beautiful greenery with so much nature around you. A mini lake, an Amphitheatre, lovely coffee unit all set in such divine atmosphere. The staff are all so so amazing , always at hand. Beautiful flowers surround everywhere especially the The Lady Shoe Flower hanging throughout.

I booked the resort after seeing pictures online, to my surprise the rooms were much smaller to what it look like in the pictures. The hotel was nice enough to give us an upgrade to our liking. It was a beautiful resort nestled on an hill amid nature, covered with trees. The service, ambience and food is top notch. Everything one would look for on their holiday. Great experience.

I would like to thank each and every persons for giving such a beautiful hospitality. This is the best resort in Thekkadi with very good ambience inside. You would be stick to the resort rather than going outside that much vibe inside. Climate and views from resort are awesome. Very friendly staffs will assist you for everything. We stayed in this resort from 2nd Nov to 3 Nov 23. The property is well maintained with a good pool, well arranged entertainments to keep the guests engaged. The road to the property for around 300 meters is not so good, else it’s an awesome experience to stay there. The staff is very courteous and mindful. We did have a wonderful stay there and recommend to my friends.

Ohhh wowwwww! The mountain courtyard is a place like heaven. The staff welcomes their guests so lovingly. The hospitality provided by the staff encourages to come and stay all over again. Absolutely surreal! My family and I were here for a sadly short but surely sweet visit. And we had a splendid time. The rooms were immaculate, food was scrumptious and ambiance was serene. The only downside was that we had to leave too soon.

We had an amazing experience and stay at The Mountain Courtyard. They took care of everything and even our requests. Definitely worth every penny. Good breakfast. I should have taken one more day stay to enjoy the property. They also have some cultural program and activities which you can include in you itinerary.

It’s a beautifully located hotel cocooned in a lush green forest surrounded by mountains. The service borders on the pampering and the staff go out of their way to fulfil your every requirement be it food, little amenities in the room, information,….just anything. Any complaint is immediately attended to and you are asked if you are happy and comfortable with the services every now and then. We spent an unprecedented 9 night, and no regrets. It was a peaceful retreat.

We had a wonderful experience at the Mountain courtyard. The staff was very courteous and welcoming. They showed us around the property for the facilities that they have to offer and escorted us to a beautiful room with the view of the lush green forest, all around this property. The ambience of the place is very soothing and calming and made my vacation worthwhile. Its location is only 10 mins away from the market area and 20 mins from Periyar Forest. Thus, it is very well placed. The breakfast buffet had a lot of variety including regional cuisine as well. The rooms were clean and well maintained with a prompt room service. Concluding, it is a place, I will surely recommend.

Stayed for two days as thekkady is a good place to explore and experience. The hotel has very good view from the balcony of the mountain from their forest category group. Not sure about the basic room named tamarind . The room rates are quite high and room service food charges too . The room could have been well lit as found them bit dingy , bathroom is decent sized clean n neat with toiletries and hot water etc . The breakfast is good with variety and tasting well. The service is also fine. The hotel is at quite a uphill level which can be quite a task for the car. Their spice tea welcome drink is very nice and the fresh air and birds chirping with a mountain forest view from a height makes it beautiful and nature experiencing. Only if they could keep their prices reasonable it would be complete value for money . They also had arranged a cultural dance show in evening which was entertaining and worth watching.

If you are in Kerela and visiting Thekkady this is the hotel to be at. The location is bliss and serene. View from the hotel room is just unmatched. I loved the sweet touch of having a bench and table in the gallery of the room to sit and enjoy meals while enjoying the nature surrounding you. The staff is very warm welcoming and they serve some mouth watering meals. Thank you to the complete staff for making our stay a memorable one. We will surely return soon.

The rooms were very comfortable .. it was a jungle view room. The breakfast spread was too good. The property is big enough to spend lot of peaceful and quality time. The resort is situated in a scenic valley and has wide open space that we enjoyed a lot. It is situated away from the crowded city. The food was amazing especially the mutton. The staff was very friendly and professional. They helped us to find a few beautiful destinations which were in the lap of nature and away from crowds. I would definitely consider visit again.

The Mountain Courtyard is a superb property with high quality service, culture and impeccable cleanliness. Rooms are great - spacious, comfortable and clean with view of mountains. Great property. We had a nice 2 day stay. There’s a lot of space to just hang out, go for trekking, enjoy the countryside. It’s not too far from the town, but you will require a vehicle to go. The room size is also good. Bathrooms are big and clean. Of special mention is the food and the service. Everything we had was delicious, and the service was exemplary. The Spice tea we had as welcome drink was so good, that we had it again and again.

We had a very pleasant stay at the Mountain Courtyard. The rooms are spacious, clean and had a decent view of the Cardamom plantation. The morning climate was wonderful. The dinner buffet was extravagant with wide varieties of dishes and cuisines. The staff was very friendly and attitude towards us is commendable.
