Lovely place. One of the nicest resorts in Udaipur. The entire place was like heaven. Nice staff and very attentive. The rooms are very good and spacious with all the required facilities. The rooms are divided into blocks. The Queen's block is especially good with nice pool balconies. They have electric buggy service for transfers. The hotel staff is helpful and the service is quick. The lounge area and fine dining area are lovely. There are 3 swimming pools. The Queen's block pool is huge. Nearby attractions are baahubali hills. Transportation is easily available as it is on the outskirts of the city. The hotel staff can arrange a cab or auto for you. Overall, highly recommended.

The property is very nice and beautiful. The services are very poor. If you want tea in the evening, you need to order it in the afternoon. No towels in the room after room service, and upon ordering in the room, they will be available in two hours or may be later. No one to carry your luggage, and upon asking they say that they have less staff.. A beautiful resort without adequate services is of NO USE

Housekeeping was so callous and apathetic. Bathroom had bad drainage so the water used to be collected on the floor as if a pool, frequently complained but the response was lethargic. Food and the waiters were friendly and attentive, cared to our requests, food was awesome from day 1. No grievances to the food and waiters. Location was good. But the premises had less radiating lights, in night it used to feel as if the lights were out. Only the main building was the point of attraction at the night. H

Positives: good surrounding, pool has a good view. Rooms are clean. Well maintained lawn. Good decor. Negatives: not at all kid friendly. Kids play area doesn't exist. Baby cot not provided. Buffet dinner was cold, finished items not refilled despite multiple reminders. Landline in room not working. Television non functional. So overall an average experience. Not a 4 star property as shown and so obviously over priced. And with the price the horse ride available in the hotel should be complementary. Especially when your kids play area is not functional. Also all trainees working the reception who have no idea. Needs improvement. Also the road to the resort is all broken.

Great place to be for a cosy date or a good time with the family as well. So well made and truly peaceful. This place is one of a kind. A little digital marketing should do wonders for this place and put this on the Udaipur's bucket list for must-visit places (I can help with the marketing) :P The food here is also good but a bit costly and also the service is something that I didn't really like. The staff should really know what they sell, which they currently don't. Overall a thumbs up but definitely some room to get to perfection. Kudos Team RR! ❤

We stayed for 2 nights at the property. The property is well maintained and good. The staff is quite helpful, humble and courteous. Food is good. Must visit this place. And Manager Govind was very humble and kind.

The resort is a beauty. Nicely maintained outdoors. Beautifully landscaped gardens with Bamboo, Amla and mango trees. The rooms have sheen but lack soul. The staff and service follow the rulebook, but need training in hospitality. The resort is royal, but the guests are not treated royally.

Lovely property, meticulously maintained grounds, friendly staff. As a westerner, it was very very difficult to get easy service. Everything was a process. The room was nice, but also smaller than expected. The bathroom light switches made no sense and the shower did not drain properly, thus leaving the floor of the bathroom soaking wet after a fast shower. The location is far from town, which is nice for a secluded feel, but every Tuk Tuk ride or taxi was more expensive and took about 10 minutes to get to town. WiFi was also terrible.

We stayed for 3 nights at the property. The property is well maintained and good. The staff is quite helpful, humble and courteous. Food is good, Breakfast spread is also good. The road approach to hotel are extremely in bad shape. Parking is outside the property. Vehicles get dusty if kept overnight so the hotel should have arrangements to clean each vehicle in the morning.

The Royal Retreat Resort It' really wonderful place to enjoy the weekned. The hosting & the cooperation of all staff members is very helpful. I have celebrated my Birthday & New Year 2023 party. This resort has left the best impressions, Hospitable hosts, delicious dishes, wide wine list & beautiful presentation of DJ. I strongly recommend to everyone! I would like to come back here again and again.

Amazing Resort of Udaipur. One of the best resort in Udaipur. The entire place was like heaven. Nice staff and very attentive. The rooms are very good and spacious with all the required facilities. All the amenities were antique including bed, cupboards, lamps and the best part was a pleasant view from the window in udaipur’s chilly winter. It was heaven! They have electric car service for transfers. The hotel staff is helpful and the service is quick. The lounge area and dining area are very attractive. There are 3 swimming pools. Transportation facilities are easily available as it is on the outskirts of the city around 6kms. The hotel staff can arrange a cab or auto for you. Overall, highly recommended. A great royal hotel with all the facilities. 🐎 Riding facility is also available here. Only one thing is missing that there is no any specific area for child activity or no any children gaming activity. Although A highly recommended hotel to enjoy the hospitality at its best.

We booked our trip for 3 nights we had worst experience. We asked for housekeeping to clean our room . We surprised when we came back from outside they did not changed bad sheet or not ever replaced the towel . The quality of service was very poor they used same bad sheet and same towel . Food was ok we supposed to get breakfast and dinner but I would say they need more improvement and experience staffs on board . I never suggest any one to come here . There is lot other resorts around here but please don't go there .

Location- peaceful. Away from city. Travelibg at night can be a issue even if have own vehicle as roads are small and through forest. Rooms- nice antic feel. The resort itself is a museum. Service- not satisfied. Wifi was not working at all. daily bathroom toiletries not maintained properly. In room green tea not available. Breakfast- sumptuous. Satisfactory. Swimming pool- good Overall- 3.5 star experience.

Came for a wedding - was really impressed by the fully vegan menu. The team are well intentioned but sometimes things need requesting twice, but that happens anywhere. Overall a brilliant experience!

The location of resort is very nice. The property is very good depending on the room you get. There are some old rooms which must have been built initially. Then there are room along side garden and pool which are very good. Then there are many rooms in building called queens block which gives you feel like other hotels. If you get the right place room your experience shall be very enhancing. Food is ok. Breakfast is very good. Their restaurants is beautiful and brekfast is well arranged and full of options We faced a lot of trouble in hotel staff coordination and their sync with each other. They have us inconvenience by shifting of rooms and not able to take single ended decision about their own property, no aware of repair work going on in their own property. But still a recommended property and very well built and maintained . Choose to go on Friday rather than saturday if you are going on weekend as on Saturday most guest continue and you may not get the better room which can make your stay more worthy.

The property is great but not well maintained. We found dirty washrooms . Food is good. Overall it's a okay experience. Only if the place was well maintained including the pool it could have been an exotic experience. Needs revamping.

Just Royal, Cooperative staff, wonderful locations, Quality is 10 times higher in comparison. Two days are very short for this place. Well maintained property, very spacious, There is more to say about this place, but I can't describe in words you just visit and feel like 👑 KING ❤️ QUEEN👑.

Had a Good stay with decent facilities. However the resort is located outside the city and connected by a single road which may be frightening especially at night. Room service was poor to say the least, took almost an hour to provide tea. Also they wanted us to pay cash instantly for the tea. Very unprofessional. You will find better hotels with great Hospitality for this price.

Amazing location to stay! So beautiful and well maintained! It is so huge, so many things to explore! Peaceful environment, feels like home! Staff is also very polite and well-behaved, especially the girl named Pooja(from chandigarh)! That girl is so sweet and welcoming! The only thing is room charges are really high! Food is also very expensive! Taste and cost both can be improved!

The place is very beautiful. It is a great place for a get away. We went into its restaurant and to my surprise, it was not that good of an experience. The food was delicious but the service was SLOW. I mean dead slow. Most of the times there were nobody in the counter or waiters to ask questions. The attitude of waiters was bad too. It was the Chef who saved the place. Do visit but take a buffer and order first and then explore.

Property is quite Beautiful with a lot of taste of nature & Rajasthan’s culture & royalty. It’s a huge property so don’t miss any corner of the property. It’s art gallery is also nice where locals make quite beautiful stuffs out of wood & stones. Drawback was it’s gym where maximum of the equipments were not in condition to use & even there was no one over there to look after it. Suggestion: try to compare the prices before planning your visit here as I got this booking at 8.5k/day but few days before new year their prices went high upto 44k/day.

Nice resort, in the outskirts of Udaipur, seems in jungle, serene place, surrounded with nature's. Service are also good. Plenty of amenities.

The royal retreat resort and spa at udaipur Good place to do parties and family get together. They have such a amazing Venus for different types of functions. Service was good Food was average Value for money for sure. Don’t like them check out process. They said we need to check out 10 am when we check in told them we will checking out 12 pm they said ok. At 10 30 one guy came out of our room and literally he checked out us feel like they throw us. Such bad experiences. Need to learn some basic meaner. Room they need to renovate soon. Was room need lots of work.

It has a palatial look to it.. rooms are nice and spacious. But management is quite off. Room service is slow. All over, for the money you pay, they need to pick up the service.

Location is excellent, nicely maintained property. Only drawback is its house keeping service needs to be improved a lot. The response time is 1 hr. The food quality is good, but rates are high. The rooms are big, spacious, but with little ventilation. The room door is not safe. We could feel that the priority was extended to the party organisers in restaurants rather than for the residents. Overall the our stay was good. But bext tine will definitely explore more options.

Glass House restaurant is a good attraction. Food is reasonable. Collection of artifacts and collectibles is great. Vintage Rolls Royce is worth seeing.

Food is not up to mark. No taste in food. Parking facility. Swimming pool was not clean. Damaged pool at queen's block. We were about 180 people on office trip. Middle big pool plastic flower were there at the bottom and at bottom screw bolts were there. Green fungus at side walls of swimming pool. Rooms were good spacious. Overall, average. Cab facility for inter transfer of rooms and resort. Bar and other areas were good for photo clicks.

This hasbeen an overall good experience, though the service and food experience can be improved . The location is a bit far from city and the root to this destination is not clear. You cant reach without taking help of google maps. A bit scary root at night. Some services are still under construction and not offered to guests. Food price are a bit expensive but can be paid seeing the property. Entire property is developed as a handicraft display. If you like it you can buy it.

I did not stay at the Retreat but visited it a couple of times as my friends were staying there. Rooms are good but do not afford the comfort of sitting. These are nice rooms to sleep in. They don't offer a view and place where you can call your friends for a chat.
