I am sharing this review for there kamla nagar spark mall branch. I have ordered masal dosa for delivery and on receiving food , I found some type of worm inside sambar. When I complaint about this they asked that we receive food from base kitchen in Ashok vihar and we only deliver from spark mall branch.

The south indian is great here ... Pretty authentic! The place great food and nice chutney! But with the kind of money they charge, they should be more investing in interior, the place has been same for decades and has visible cracks and all. The place desperately need renovation. Else youngsters are a big no. The food is good, overpriced with old feels. Try the Mysore dosa , idli, uttpam, dahi vada. North Indian is not authenticate and way too over priced. Worse thing is they didn't give the thali (northindian) that we wanted. I think they wanted us to buy everything separately and pay a bomb. We felt quite cheated why did they mention thali in menu when they can't deliver.

Good restaurant with South Indian and north India cuisine.. Food is tasty and many varieties of dosas, idli northern thalis available there. Good behavior of staff and Hygienic place.

It's a very nice south Indian cuisine restaurant to visit with families. The service is super fast and the food quality is always good. Dinner time on holidays is rush time for this restaurant so you might have to wait for 5-10 minutes but since the service is super fast that waiting will not be a lot. I will definitely visit again.

Food is great and they are very authentic with their chutney and sambar. But the price is not worth it. Its bit expensive. But you can try it once. Also in our area sagar ratna is famously for rishtas. People went to sagar ratna for seeing girl or boy or their family.

A well known south Indian restaurant with best taste of dosa and idli. Nice and beautiful atmosphere. Must visit this outlet to try the authentic taste of their dosa and idli. I recommend you to try Achari Paneer tikka . Overall a perfect place to visit with family and friends.

Great place for both South Indian and North Indian foods, me with my family visiting here from many years. The essence of perfect customer service and amazing flavour of spices in sambar is major part i liked the most... I ordered the original butter masala dosa. Always the great taste. Amazing service. Helpful staff.

While on a visit to Delhi I visited the restaurant. The location is nice . Took idli , dosa and wada . Idli RS 160( 2 pieces), dosa RS 215/, wada 195/ (4 pieces , surprisingly) seem overpriced. Though the taste was excellent 👍🏽. The same is offered at a lower price at other South Indian restaurants, I was told. Anyways worth visiting though rates are high.

We had bfast on Sunday and enjoyed the flavours, but what has disappointed me over the years is that sagar ratna has not introduced any new dishes over the years, say like curry and appam. Also the prices have gone through the roof. For non vegetarian, it's never a choice for lunch or dinner as there is no option and prices are touching the same levels. You can charge premium upto an extent for location/ambience etc but this is going way beyond Taste wise, I would say that this place is back to its best. Good South Indian flavours. Mild spices which suits all age groups

The food is amazing. South Indian food is really awesome. You can try north indian food too. I visited Ashok Vihar branch...there, table recommendation is must. During peak hours, it’s always full. We tried desserts too..they were amazing but too sweet.

Had the best experience here. I visited the CP branch but it wasn't good enough but here I loved every bit of it. We ordered rava masala dosa but it was very crispy and hard to eat, so we requested to replace it with a softer one and to my surprise they agreed. Great hospitality!

The food quality as well as service post covid is pathetic. Looks like they serve the left out food. On the day of Raksha Bandhan I came here to have lunch. And perhaps the worst choice. The food was absolutely stinking and unhygienic. Plz dont have this food here. It's not old sagar Ratna anymore. U will risk your health.

I am writing this review after being their customer for more than 15 years. With time their charm has vanished. Dine in food tastes bitter in comparison to delivered food at home.

The exclusive thali was good, the Madras Masala Dosa, Masala Dosa and Rava dosa were average.

Nice food. Authentic South Indian cusine. Good service, clean environment. But some shortcomings too. 1. AC not working. Heavy sweating in this weather. 2. I asked them to pack the used chutneys, instead of throwing which was in good quantity. I was told that they will throw it but not pack. Ridiculous rules.

Coming back from a trip of Vaishno Devi and Pahalgam i craved for good homely south indian dosa which will satiate me and fill me. I was very relived to find a Sagar Ratna close by. Not only was my Rawa dosa served crisp with varieties of chutney but also the service is so good. The staff is polite, place is spacious very hygenic.

Loved the food and vibe.The staff were very responsive and kind.We tried panner tikka ,rava and masala dosas which were really tasty and yummy.Tried podi idlis too but didn’t like them much.Only bad part was the waiting time which is around 20-25 min so be prepared.

I had very very horrible experience in sagar ratna ashok vihar.Manager was rude and degrade me and my husband when we ask him to give us box for pack my food and which I did many times and today he shouted on us and said that he will not give container and which is normal in every restaurant.In every restaurant we are provided with take away container . Those both manager standing there were laughing on us as we only asked them to give container and before many times boys there packed for us. They told lie that they did not pack and not give container.This was disgusting behavior by manager. Kindly take action on it.

The food was good . But the customer Service was not so good. Service on the table was good. But the people who was taking food order from table was rude and impolite. The restaurant was not busy so I ask them that I want to sit on the other side but that supervisor replied in a very rude and unprofessional way and didn't allow me. But after some time one other customer arrive there then he allowed him to sit there. Zero customer service, no atticad , not felt welcome there.

Just visited the Ashok Vihar branch. Totally unprofessional staff. The waiter spilled boiling sambhar on me and after complaining, he started blaming us only . Neither the manager turned up nor any senior person. They all were covering up the waiter and no one bothered if I was burnt or injured or anything. A brand like sagar ratna should see the quality of people they are hiring and the service they are providing.

this is one of the most favourite place of many people who like to have authentic South Indian food. they are good at hospitality you may have to wait for a few minutes if the restaurant is full but you get free parking here with the assistance of the guard outside. dahi vada is one of the signature dish they offer you must try they also offers some fusion dosa's one can try.

Sagar ratna has it's own taste and that's how they made a goodwill. The staff of this place is the most respectful. They'll serve you very fast. You finish a sambhar bowl and the next plate will be there filled of sambhar bowl in front of you, you don't need to tell them that please get me chutney sambhar or anything They'll serve you before you tell it to them, this the level of service they provide which I loved a lot. Coming to the taste it's everyone's personal choice but the person who like south Indian will lick his/her fingers while eating this 3 chutney's they give you of which I loved green chutney and white chutney green chutney was above expectations 12 on 10 I'll give it to green chutney and same is the case with white chutney. Sambhar is very very good dosa is damn good. Overall I would give 11/10 to them 1 extra for service they provide.

Very bad service, I ordered onion dosa. They filled raw onion and when we questioned they told us that it will be raw and they are following practices by Sagar Ratna and even denied to return. I visited multiple South Indian restaurant and onion dosa is my favourite. Never experienced such a issue as everyone use fried onion or tell their customers in advance. This is the last time I am going over there.

one of the best places for eating south Indian and north Indian food with family. The service is really quick and the quality is superb. This is a pure veg restaurant and dahi vada is one of their signature dishes.

Worst south indian food. Being a south indian i know what a fake south Indian food they provide.born a south Indian in mumbai n settled in delhi n also a good cook myslf. I have tired food almost everywhere. Sagar ratna is sooooo over rated n looters. They are fooling delhi people by providing them such low graded tasteless south indian food. Their sambhar is soooooooo watery. The quantity of food is so less n so expensive. I mean i have seen a size of dosa so small n so expensive in anyother restaurants in delhi. Leave alone the price. You can think its so expensive so it would be great in taste n quantity . Poor taste n quantity miniature. Pls boycott sagar ratna n go to neivdyam n other south indian joints atleast it will fill your stomach n heart
