I must recount the astonishingly appalling experience during my brother's wedding at Hotel Gulmohar Grand Una. Despite its name "Gulmohar Grand", this hotel was far from grand and proved to be an enormous disappointment. We decided to host my brother's wedding here, driven by false promises from Mr. Neeraj, the hotel general manager. He unabashedly claimed that they were seasoned experts in orchestrating weddings, but our trust was misplaced. We were required to pay the full amount upfront, which we later regretted as it left us trapped. Upon arrival, our suite was a disaster - dirty, foul-smelling, and malfunctioning and so were most of the rooms. The entire hotel was unclean, with trash and dirt piling up in the lobby. It took almost half a day for them to clean the rooms which was embarrassing. We asked for staff to help guests find their rooms, but none were provided. The decorations, despite assurances remained neglected and outdated. On the Tilak and Sumoth day, we were herded into a room ill-suited for a Havan- a small closed room with only one AC for more than 50 people. They claimed to have a chimney for Havan in the room which was covered. The Havan room had bees and an overlooked beehive which bit our guests disrupting our sacred rituals. The Mehndi hall had a filthy music section, and when we complained, the hotel staff told us to manage it ourselves. Pagdi for the Baratis was missing. The hired band was terrible. The Milani Haar we paid for was missing. The DJ setup with an LED screen was disappointing. The Phoolo Ki Chadar was poorly executed, with 90% green leaves instead of roses. The wedding night arrangement was a torment. After dinner during Jaimaal ceremony, the hotel staff kept pestering us for Shagun, robbing us of a peaceful meal. Within 30 mins of giving away Shagun, the entire hotel became deserted, with no staff or guards available to support us for the wedding event. It was a nightmare. The wedding ceremony in the Mandap hall was marred by problems. Chimney they mentioned was a facade, and the AC stopped working after two hours. Power fluctuations forced us to rely on the cameraman's lights. The hotel general manager, Mr. Neeraj, displayed incompetence and indifference to our concerns. His attitude changed from "You are family, we are to help" to "Who cares" and arrogance once he received complete advance payment. Despite requests for a preview of the final wedding setup with decoration specific to our needs, for which we had paid an additional amount, we received subpar decorations with minor modifications to the hotel's previous setup. The use of weathered fake flowers and a general lack of finesse in execution resulted in a dispiriting sight as the Mandap bore the scars of neglect. The entire delivery of the wedding setup was subpar workmanship and a mere change of curtains by Vishal, decoration incharge. Despite our requests, we were denied access to any hotel staff's contact details for support during the wedding night. Our sole means of communication was Mr. Neeraj, who conspicuously absented himself on the day of the wedding. After an entire night of futile calls to Mr. Neeraj with teary eyes, it was not until morning 6:30am we were provided with a chef's contact no. to address our plea for basic necessities, such as water. Mr Vijay, the operations head was extremely rude after receiving full payment. He was scarcely available and not contactable too. It's unclear whether this was the hotel's first wedding, if their staff was incompetent, or if management was careless. They ruined our experience and showed no understanding of how to manage a wedding. If you're contemplating hosting an event here, DO NOT. It was a haunting experience. A Plea to the Hotel Owner: Sir, your hotel has great potential, but the staff is ruining its reputation. They ask for money even after full payment and ill treat when denied. Consider removing Mr. Neeraj and Vijay and reevaluating your partnership with Mr. Vishal. Your staff is tarnishing your hotel's reputation.

This place is good for kids and family members. You can see different films with family and there after can take lunch and dinner there in the best restaurant inside the hotel. There is sufficient parking space for standing and this is situated on the main road leading to Una via Nangal township. Services rendered by the staff are excellent.So everyone tries to stay there for lunch dinner etc while going to Himachal Pradesh.

Good hotel on the highway. Nice and spacious rooms with amenities. Parking lot can hold many cars at a time. However, since the occupancy was low, hence buffet for breakfast was not available, though it was served alacarte.

Very good food at reasonable rates. Nice clean washrooms and great place to take a halt and stopover if you are traveling between Himachal and Chandigarh or Delhi . . Menu is basic but good clean tasty North Indian food

I recently hosted my sister's wedding at Gulmohar Grand, and it was an exceptional experience. The hotel's ambiance was elegant, creating a perfect backdrop for the celebration. The entire staff contributed to the success of the event, and I can confidently recommend Gulmohar Grand for any special occasion.

For movie parking they let you park at backside of hotel, which is very inconvinient to family and kids, we have to come on foot all round the hotel to again come to front side of hotel for movie entry. it's better to park alongside of road nearby.

A good food hub at Una, Himachal Pradesh, a 10 minutes drive from the Himachal -Punjab border. Clean and spacious interiors with almost four to five shops including Barista. Service is by self. South Indian, English, and North Indian food available. Restrooms are neat and maintained. Enough parking space on the roadside and more at the back. Movie hall present in the same building. Coundn't find another such place anywhere nearby. A good pitstop spot for travellers to Himachal hill stations.

I had my marriage function here in nov 2023. Their standard decoration of the stage is extremely bad so I decided to spend a reasonable amount on it with their in-house vendor. I guess that was the biggest mistake. I wasted 85000, got nothing to show, decorator wasn’t even available at the event day. Please hire someone from outside if you can. Although management at Gulmohar will try to scare you for choosing that option but trust me it’ll be better from what they’ll promise.

Very very bad dealing if you go for movie they ask to park backside even front space is empty which is far away and you have to come lot to reach theatre if you come for any function they ask again to park backside every time bad service so what is use of front parking I ask to talk with manager he told me this parking is for food court only then I reply if I have to go food court then to theatre then he ask then u have to park backside very rude dealing don’t come for movie here una rajhans cinema is much much better

Air curtain did not stop the flies which were all over the hall. It was difficult to eat. Central air conditioning did not cool the area near glass windows.

Grand toh hai All good, All major things are good. We did our brunch and then Barista above is good for cold coffee's and Latte. I recommend trying brrrista blast or cappuccino

It's by the highway in Una. In one part the hotel is built and in the adjacent part a running food court has been developed. The food court has options from KFC, Pizza hut, Vango, Costa coffee, Barista and few others. Nice place not so cozy but vibrat colourful, clean, well maintained and most importantly large enough to accomodate 70-80 people at a time so it would look crowded, clean washrooms, good ambience. Overall a nice experience for both purposes short stay or using the food court while on the way. Must try filter coffee from Vango or other varieties from Costa coffee. Separate parking options for food court and hotel, large enough to park even few buses.

Very good spot to rest or have some food in Chandigarh una highway . Alot options are there like kfc , vango where you can get good dosa and Indian food as well , barista etc . Recommended

Good spot to stop at the highway. Spacious parking. At the road level you will get a big food court with lot of options but they also have a restaurant at one level below the road level which offer a veg. Thali at ₹ 175. The thali is delicious with sufficient quantity for one person. Clean toilets at the basement as its a Hotel property

Booked room via MMT room upgradationwas offered aince base vat was twin beded . Neeraj And Harsh upgraded to Executive as we were staying as transit couple . Thanks

Vero poor experience with hotel staff. If you want to get away for a weekend or holiday just don't book this hotel if you don't want to spoil your mood. Staff is too unprofessional and doesn't stand up to their commitment even after taking advance. This sort of behavior is not expected from any hotel.

Construction activity going on cant even sleep or talk so much bad noise. Bad stay, staff is rude. They demand extra money after committing to a price. Food is also not tasty. Never visit this place.

We stayed here for a night. The hotel is great and rooms are also nice and clean. Washrooms are clean. We booked a deluxe room. At first room’s AC was not working. We complained them and it took 1 hr to change our room at 10 pm. I also find the prices are quite high. Overall stay was good.

location is great.. service is average but improving day by day. team is humble and flexible.. Food is okay.. rooms had a little issues of smell but overall good stay.. location wise its great.

The location is good. The best place you can find while traveling Nangal-Una. The hotel is very clean and the service is good. The only issue is that it needs management's attention towards maintaining the property. Washroom was sparkling clean but had a broken tap, a malfunctioning shower, and many such small issues. The food was well prepared and well presented. The staff was very nice and polite but little bit inexperienced.

First premium food complex and movie theater in Una town. Ample parking place and its right on the main road. However, they need to have more food outlet such as Subway and Haldirams, etc. Most current brands are premium ones and not suitable place like Una. Also, the place is far from Una main town which is a disadvantage.

A great place at Una, Himachal Pradesh to rest and recharge while driving. There are several restaurants like KFC, Costa Coffee, Pizza Hut etc. Facilities are well maintained. There is also movie theatre at the location.

Ultimate place to halt on a long trip. Costa, Vangoo and others are good. Had awesome coffee in Costa. It was a good experience but the wash was not up to the mark, no soap in dispensers, hand drier was not working properly, very bad. All over 👌okay.

I put my review 1 hour before regarding the issue which was happened to me yesterday, and after few minutes I received a call from the manager of the grand gulmohar, and he was apologized for the incident, and gave me 100% surety that the same incident will never happen again. I wish each and every one will receive best customer service. Thanks

We went for movie, everything was perfect, but the guy sitting at ticket counter ( with blue turbon ) was very rude with us, he doesn't know how to talk and deal with the customers. These people think they can service without the customers but it is totally wrong, they should learn how to provide best customer service in today's competitive world, sorry to say but I will never go again to watch any movie over there.

A very good property which is located ideally on the highway. Rooms are very comfortable and well equipped. Hotel restaurant food is very good, had dinner and breakfast here. They also have a food court and cinema in the complex. A petrol pump across the road is ideal for refuelling. The hotel also has a banquet on ground floor and on the terrace

Room suits are spacious and very silent. My kids enjoyed the restorent food . Which was very tasty

We stopped at this place on our way to Dharamshala as we were hungry and wanted to freshen up. Location 4/5 Food 3/5 (we ate dosa and gol gappas which were OK) Barista here is good 4/5 Washrooms were not clean 1/5

Decent place to stay in the area, it’s a new property. Rooms are clean and it’s one of the better properties in the area. Their own restaurant is pretty ok but there is Menon / Manan Restaurant around which serves great Indian cuisine.

Infrastructure is good. However they need to improve their dine in service. They serve us roti without wrapping it in silver foil. This makes it unhygienic. Also there I conveyed the Manager to better strictly manage the service part.

The Gulmohar Golden Luxury Hotel. This is the best and prime location of the hotel here, This hotel is a luxury style hotel above five star rating. Here we have all the facilities which are available in a big luxury hotel like in a big city hotel. The book of this hotel is very good and the cleanliness of every room is so nice and tidy and the hotel is very well maintained and the building is so nice don't ask! Hotel rooms are available here at very cheap prices.

I booked their Premium Room but when we arrive it was not ready. TV was not working, they had to recharge the account. There was Water leakage in washroom. Smelly place provided for driver stay. Food was good quality and service provided by staff was great. They should work on fixing their washrooms bidet (jet spray). It was even fault in common washrooms next to restaurant.

The best hotel in Una, no doubt! The service is quick. The staff is so polite and considerate and always helpful! They also gave us an upgrade which was really appreciated. The rooms are good, clean and tidy. Would love to visit again!
