I’ve driven by Piper’s Tavern 100 times and I’ve always wondered how it was. I’m so glad I stopped and tried it out! Amazing French Onion Soup. Seriously. Cold beer and a great Bloody Mary. The show stopper was the Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich. Tender beef, mushrooms, onions and gooey cheese, on the perfect roll. But the best part is this savory, rich beef gravy it comes with. I don’t know who sold their soul to make that gravy but it was worth it! Ask for extra on the side. You’ll thank me.

Great atmosphere, my wife and I came during trivia night unexpectedly. It was fun to watch other patrons participate and to try and guess our own answers. The service and food were great. Our server, Richard, was awesome.

Pizzaaaaaa!!! You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. I love their variety but I must say I am in love with the pizza.

This restaurant is fantastic! They have been around for 22 years now and it shows in their staff, libations, and the delicious food. Pricing is very fair on everything in their menu. The facility is clean and it is so refreshing when the waitstaff all seems like they want to be there. Overall this is one of the best American bar food and more places in Raleigh. We will be going back soon!

Pipers Tavern is an incredible place to go eat. The scenery is awesome, the staff are incredible, and the food is delicious. I had the potato skins and crab cakes and it was some of the best I've had. For dessert, our table ordered the hot fudge sundae and creme brulee, they were both outstanding and I certainly had a wonderful time dining tonight. Will definitely come again!

My wife’s salad was very fresh. I had a personal pizza and the green pepper was remarkably fresh. The pizza crust was a little cracker-like for my taste. Grill cheese is not on the menu, but they were able make one for my son. It’s one of the best grill cheese sandwiches I’ve had anywhere. The French fries were good. The sweet tea was good.

Great restaurant, great food! The manager personally went around and welcomed diners which I thought was a nice touch. The only reason I gave it 3 stars is the fact that they attach 3.5 % to your bill if you use your credit card without making you aware of it.

We were seated next to the back door where people were continually were coming and going out. It was a very warm day and the opening made it very uncomfortable. Service was very poor. Server never offered to refill drinks until she brought over the check. Thought that this was a highly rated restaurant, ovusly we were very disappointed. Will not recommend or be back.

We hit up Piper's about once a month. Normally no issues and if there is, they are quick to make it right. Staff are always super friendly and the food is always great. Go with the Cuban and Chicken Francese and you won't be disappointed. And 3 kids easily split a large pizza, with some left over for the adults.

The food is always amazing and delicious. The staff is so welcoming and on point every time. Interior innice and love the outdoors seating available. Clean. And quick service from ordering to our food always hot. We will continue to come and bring more of our family and friends ❤️.

I love this place! It's a one of a kind tavern/restaurant with GREAT food, awesome live music, & a full bar. The vibe is friendly & the servers take good care of you. Hats off to the chef owners - they're equally adept at making sesami-crusted tuna & the best philly cheese steak sandwich I've ever had.

I've enjoyed every meal I've had. Especially liked the red snapper special. Busy but pleasant atmosphere. Friendly staff. Nice variety on the menu.

Been eating(and drinking) here since it was Manchesters. Always a great experience, from food to service! My family of 4 dined last night, 2 beers and 4 meals for 80 bucks, which was an unexpected surprise, considering we spend 50 at CFA on 4 meals. Anyway, we had a party of 12, all meals came correct and timely. Waitress was proactive and attentive during the entire evening. Another great night at Pipers, thank you!

Delicious lunch on patio. Excellent service. Reasonably priced and large portions. The personal pizza had perfectly crisped crust. I would recommend.

I haven't had a taco salad anywhere lately so it was the special salad today. It was really good and loaded and the side sauce was delicious! My husband had Buffalo sauce burger and also really like it.

Sat out on the deck last night and enjoyed our dinner. I ordered the chef's salad. Wow, the meat (turkey, roast beef, ham and bacon) was excellent quality, the lettuce was crisp and other ingredients were tasty. Lots left over for lunch today, as well.

Greeted and seated quickly. Server was friendly and helpful! Food was great. Wide variety of options. We went on trivia night and had a good laugh. It felt like a neighborhood hang out with everyone so friendly. We felt welcome and part of the fun. We had a great time and look forward to eating there again.

First time eating here and was not disappointed about anything. Service and Food were excellent. My daughter and I shared an appetizer of crab dip and pita chips. Then shared a cheese steak sandwich and finished off sharing a brownie sundae. For us that was plenty of food! The desert was huge. It was a must share with someone else size! You might prefer your own sandwich if your really hungry. The crab dip was hot and delicious as was the sandwich. Lots of other things on the menu if like to try like their French Onion Soup and the Reuben sandwich. Lots of covered outdoor seating which was great on this not too hot overcast day!

The pretzel appetizer was really good. The fries were great, but I asked for my burger well done and it was not just pink, but a little bit of blood was still present. It was sent back and came back correct. I was only able to eat a little less than half of it at that point, but the flavor was good. They were fairly busy and our waiter wasn't extremely attentive, but it wasn't a bad experience.

I had the Ruben, and it was one of the top 5 I have ever had. This is my signature sandwich and I order all the time. They got it right. Very tender, just the right amount of kraut and cheese. I will try the Cuban next time; I hear that is the best. Great service. Very friendly and attentive. Definitely be back.

Quick fast service... excellent server. We were well cared for. The place was very busy for a Tuesday evening, but the food came quickly and was very good.

Fish and chips was delicious, Mac n cheese was ok, patty melt also very good! Loved sitting outside. Cute place. Want to try again, also good service!

We went at night time with the night time kitchen menu. We got an app, I got a soda, he got a Jack & coke (or a marg, can't remember), 2 "entrees" + a side of fries each. Our bill was $69. Our waitress was nice and the food was decent but after tip I spent $85 (for 2 people) on like a Tuesday, since everything was sold as separates. For me that's a stretch, prob won't be back.

Had a great first date at Piper's! From the company I was in, to the waitress, and of course, the Irish Beef Boxty, everything was amazing. The atmosphere was absolutely perfect and the food and service was wonderful. I had not been to Piper's before, but I can guarantee I will be back as often as I can be! What a wonderful place!

I used to frequent this place and loved it but moved farther away and haven't been here for a few months. Went tonight and the food and service was excellent even though super busy trivia night. Some new staff but still excellent!!

First time here, looks like our type of place. Everything was phenomenal! Jonas is an excellent bartender, attentive, and knows you by name. My wife had the fish and chips, and I had the Chicken francaise. Just delicious and I definitely could not recommend a place much more highly. We live 40 minutes away and it's upsetting that we can't come more often!

I ordered the chicken parm and was satisfied. It was a big enough portion and it was delicious. My only complaint is that it was cold outside and we were sitting out front in the tents and the fire pit ran out of gas or something and no one cared to replace it. We found it as a form of " alright guys, it's time to leave"
