Allison is creating a sensory pathway, what a great contribution to our already beautiful park. We can't wait to experience it! Thank you Allison

As a person who loves parks, this is a perfect place. When I was just a mere toddler, my mom would take me to this park and I always enjoyed my time there even up until now. Once you arrive, there is an option to go either left or right. If you go left, you will go to the well what I would say the more nature orientated place. If you go right, you will find a park with a nice playground and a place where many people hold birthday parties. I hiked around and I found a small stream/creak type place. If you go to the right side of the park, walk down the trail and go into the forest when you see a trail leading to it, keep going and where there is two more paths, go to the left a little bit and look at the woods and you will see a hidden path with no concrete path nearby. Cool place and it's my favorite hidden gem about this park. This is a park I think anyone can enjoy!

Super cool playground area. Modern, fun, creative playground equipment. So awesome that they have the entire playground area underneath coverings to block the sunlight and rain. Very nice! 😁👍👍

Nice place for a walk or run. Few shelters for group party next to kids playground. Connects lake benson and south garner greenway trail to make it a 2.2 mile loop with lake benson or 3.2 mile walk including south garner parkway that connects to timber drive. South garner parkway is a mile long but fully shaded to walk on a sunny day. Lot of parking spaces to park.

Shelter rental is a very reasonable price for residents. Great playgrounds both with equipment and natural. Convenient to restroom facilities and parking. Lots of great trails for exercise.

I love walking at this park. Wide paved path throughout. Very scenic and it goes around the shaded playground , past 4 pavilions, past the Nature center , and past the sewage treatment station ( only bad part is the smell 🤨sometimes) . It also has a trail that goes to the YMCA . It also connects to Lake Benson .

This was a super fun experience! We came here with a few friends and had a picnic. The playground is awesome, and so are the trails. Great place to go for a fun day!

Best place to take a walk and enjoy the beautiful nature scenes! Sometimes, there are deer walking around peacefully, and they'll stop and look at you for a few moments before going back to eating and minding their business. The people on the trails are the absolute friendliest and I really appreciate how the bathrooms, playgrounds, and trails are kept clean and tidy year round!

Love, love, love this nature center. Friendly and helpful staff. In town for a couple months and so happy we found this gem. Our 3 year old requests to come here every day. Fun bin of woodland puppets, coloring stations, tons of nature focused books, etc. Beautiful park! Great play areas. Awesome trails. Favorite park and nature center we’ve been to in the Raleigh area.

Good area to walk along with a park and greenway. I have seen plenty of deer up close while walking- whether morning or evening.

We had a wonderful visit. 24 of us used the Maple pavilion. It was close to the play ground for the kids so Mom's could sit in the shade. Only problem was the grill bottom was half rotted thru so we could only use half of it. Other wise it was perfect for us

Great little paradise tucked away in Garner. Plenty of activities and hiking trails for the family. 2 playgrounds with one being "natural" type equipment. Nature center has limited hours but worth it even with it's small size on the outside. Great way to engage the outdoors with your kids and this place is great for it.

We have been coming to this park for years. It has great walking trails, a visitors center that offers fun activities and educational opportunities throughout the year, picnic tables, an open field, and a pretty cool playground. We were a little bummed when they got rid of the wooden nature playground but understandable that it was becoming a hazard. The really big slide down the hill is still there though and that was probably the best part of that playground anyways! Overall a great place to take your family and have a nice day out.

We visited this park for the first time this past weekend and fell in love! It is beautiful! Lots of little trails, paved and unpaved. Very lush! I can't wait for the playgrounds and programs to open back up so we can take our daughter. The paved trail goes over to Lake Benson as well. Another first visit for us! Lots of fun and learning opportunities!

One of my favorite parks in the area. They've got a playground, paved paths, and unpaved trails. I love the scenery, and it's always clean and inviting when I come.

Beautiful park with a small nature center and natural style playground. Nice shelters and public restrooms available. Walking trails throughout the park. Could use a little sprucing up as some of the play areas are pretty worn out.

Love White Tail Park as a place for walking and bike riding as well as nature sightings. It's huge and you can spend hours with family, friends, romantic partners in viewing so much that the park has to offer.

Took a walk around dusk and was amazed at the layout and amenities of the park. Plenty of shelters in two separate sections, a few large fields, a play ground and a green-ways. Perfect for biking, walking, or bringing your kids to explore.

Really nice here. Good bathroom facilities. A couple of trails and it connects with Lake Benson park as well. My son and I played frisbee for a while there today.

Love bringing my daughter to this park, just clean and upscale for a public park. Have trail to hike on, and a learning center, a big playground and a indoor restroom. Would definitely recommend this park for child's birthday parties or any kind of play or fun for children. And also for adults to jog and run.

😐 We visited this park to walk the nature trails. The trails are called Hillard Creek Trails. If you want to walk in the middle of the woods this is a good trail. The downside is that trail blazes are missing so you can easily get lost. The trail is pretty much single file. Based on appearance I...

👍👍 Fantastic soccer fields! Very easy to find without much traffic. Lots of parking, as they do not seem to over schedule these fields. They do really drain well too. Very nice fields. If you happen to be on the edge, you get some shade. And then a playground and bathrooms up on the hill. Conven...

👍👍 Sarah was really fun and informative, she made us really good drinks and we were on her biggest tour which was a lot of fun. She was really informative! I highly recommend the tour and cocktails. We had the Carolina mule, aged old fashioned, local blossom, and downtown sour. Enjoyed the hospitality!...
