I was drawn to try Heirloom by the menu and the decor— especially the Taiwanese dishes and the mochi donuts. Upon entering, I should’ve followed my gut instinct in that this was primarily a coffee shop, and not to expect much from the food. The mochi donuts were very dense and not like the light and springy ones reminiscent from Tokyo. The pork belly and fried chicken dishes made me cringe in more ways than one. The sheer amount and preparation of the rice left much to be desired. For Taiwanese comfort food, this was sorely lacking. The best part of the meal were the quail eggs.

The food was delicious! The char sui sandwich was legit. I had the magnolia one cup sake, paired well with my sandwich. They also let me sample Sesame Mayo they made in house. It was all Poppin! Great vibes to hang all day and do work in the shop. They also have a printer if you need to print there. I recommend visiting, the staff rocks!

The atmosphere here is impeccable; really cozy vibes here that I could hang out for a few hours. The customer service here was also great. I cannot rate the drinks here since I got a canned soda. However, for the price I paid, the food did NOT live up to it. I ordered the grilled chicken lunch for $14. Now I wasn’t expecting it to wow me, but I also didn’t expect it to be served in a plastic takeout box. Chicken, rice, and some cabbage for $14 folks. This looks like food I would get from one of those food delivery companies where they cook you meals in advance. Needless to say, way overpriced.

Such a cute cafe! I had a latte and a doughnut. Both were excellent. They also had food, sake and other items on the menu. Parking is convenient in the parking garage next door. Staff was very friendly. Great place to work or relax.

We decided to give this place a try because we're always on the hunt for a new coffee/tea house. The atmosphere was very contemporary and inviting. The coffee and tea options were different, yet excitingly refreshing compared to the regular fare. As a bonus, they just happened to have some gluten free donuts also. I got the Yuzu and the flavor profile was spot on, without being too sweet. This place was a fantastic find and we will definitely be back!

Great place for a quick early morning bite and delicious coffee!! Very clean, friendly and professional staff. The location is kind of tucked away at the end of the street but not hard to find considering it's across from the Amtrak station. Pricing is reasonable and they offer a good selection. I love the decor, it's very unique especially the ceiling. Beautifully crafted furniture and the atmosphere is relaxing. Heirloom was in walking distance of our hotel, Origin. I definitely recommend if you visit Raleigh.

Gorgeous spot with delicious coffee and pastries. Love that it’s Asian owned. Could have spent all day relaxing, chatting, and enjoying hot beverages in this space.

Heirloom is one of the best coffee shops in the triangle. They use coffee from a local small batch roaster and have very talented baristas. Their coffee drinks and tea options are superb and the vibes are immaculate. We also tried the matcha rice crispy and a gluten free mochi donut that were both to die for! We did not try the food but they do have a full kitchen menu. This is a great shop to just go chill for a couple of hours to read a book or get some work done!

I had a great experience getting a small and quick lunch here over the weekend while staying in downtown Raleigh. Heirloom was within walking distance of my hotel and it was quiet in a morning with enough seating and no line. I got an overnight oat, a tea, coffee and egg baguette that came out to be over $30. The food was delicious, particularly the egg baguette that was a bit messy to eat because it was dripping in the delicious spicy chili sauce. I would come here again and try out more items on the menu.

This place was so quaint and lovely. I came because they had a vegan option and interesting options for lattes. They had a variety of vegan chocolates and sweets when you first walk in. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Plenty of seating and very instagramable vibe and decor. Only complaint is th lounge seating needs to be washed. They had lovely outdoor seating too which was nice.

Easily the best coffee you will be able to try in Raleigh, so don’t miss it! We tried the capuchino and they made my personal favorite that wasn’t on the menu, flat withe which is very difficult to find in America (very well done) and they made it perfect! The perfect foam with almond milk, so thank you very much. Wish you the best guys! Also the banana bread was excellent.

We had a wonderful time at this place - nicely decorated, sunny, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was relaxing and cosy. Kids got free desserts that was a pleasant surprise. Very friendly.

I ordered the Taiwanese fried chicken and Lao fog (basically a hot Thai tea) - both were really yummy! Cabbage was just slightly undercooked, but not to the point I had to send it back. +1 for the cute aesthetic and nice ambiance

Cute cafe - they were very welcoming and allowed us to take photos for an engagement session. They made the most beautiful latte art for the couple to have in the photos. I have been wanting to try mochi doughnuts for a long time but they are always sold out at other cafes. I was able to get one here and it was surprisingly dense but good!

Super clean, high design and Japanese influenced cafe in Raleigh’s warehouse district. Good stop for delicious small bites, mochi donuts and other pastries, coffee/drinks including wine by glass or bottle.

This spot is perfect for young professionals, the atmosphere is adequate to work for a couple of hours, network, and enjoy a laid back work day. Also, there’s a printer available for any documents you may need! Teas, coffee, and snacks are available during work hours, I enjoyed a jasmine tea and a relaxing day 😌

A cute cafe with a cosy atmosphere. We came here for brunch but unfortunately their online menu didn't reflect their actual menu at all. The actual menu was a lot more limited. We ended up getting the Taiwanese fried chicken, the char siu pork sandwich and a mochi donut. The sandwich and the donut were great but the chicken was a bit salty.

Nothing but wonderful things to say about this place! I loved everything about my visit to Heirloom. Easy street parking in the area. The first thing that caught my attention was the beautiful architecture on the ceiling, the huge plants, and that bubblegum espresso machine! I had a whole photoshoot in my mind haha. The breakfast sandwich and coffee drinks we had were delicious, unique, and reasonably priced. Staff were friendly and personable. I also enjoyed looking at different Asian food and drink products while we waited. I cannot wait to be a regular here - do yourself a favor and check it out!
