Dr Douglas and her Technician, Stephanie, went above and beyond for me! After a few years, I have finally found the right fit within the practice!! If needing extra care, which includes more than just your routine check-up, I highly suggest you get on Dr Douglas’ schedule. She will do her best to get to the root of the problem and make sure that there is some kind of solution. Stephanie demonstrates both kindness and caring which helps while testing is being performed. Both show much professionalism in their work and truly treat you as a patient and not just a number. Their hard work and kindness are greatly appreciated!!

Let me just start out by saying I am very picky and critical when it comes to "doctors" offices. This was my first visit to McPherson's and what a fabulous experience! From the moment I walked through the door I knew I struck gold. They operate like a well oiled machine all the while keeping that "personal touch" which to me is so important. Everyone I came in contact with was super friendly and very helpful. I saw Dr. Kimberly Douglas this visit and she was terrific - bubbly, thorough, and answered all my questions. I'd also like to add a special shout out to the wonderfully kind and very, very patient woman who helped me select my glasses :). If I could give McPherson Family Eye Care 10 stars, I would. Don't hesitate to make that appointment - I highly recommend!

This office visit was for post right eye cataract surgery. From the time of checking in to the time of checking out, things went smoothly. Employees are pleasant and the office has a clean environment. Appointment was on time and the exam was very thorough. Dr. Samantha McPherson is kind and an expert in her field. When selecting new glasses Chaz went above and beyond to be helpful, a definite asset to the practice. This medical practice is an A+. You won't go wrong here.

I have been going to McPherson Family Eye Care for several years and have always been very pleased. Yesterday was no exception. Dr. Warr is wonderful! Jillian met with me to do some testing and is very friendly and very thorough. Theresa helped me pick out beautiful eyeglasses and sunglasses. She took her time with me and I left the office very happy that my new glasses look great. I will never go anywhere else for my eye care needs.

My husband & I are new patients of Dr. Murphy's. We both have had wonderful experiences so far. Everyone was extremely nice & professional. We are truly greatful that this practice was able to get my husband in so quickly to treat his eye injury. The staff seemed genuinely concerned for his well being & comfort.

I saw Dr. Samantha McPherson and it was the most pleasant visit ever! All the staff were extremely warm and friendly. Dr. McPherson took her time answering my questions after a thorough evaluation. I even left with new contact lenses after over 20 years without wearing them. I feel like I’ve been given new eyes! I highly recommend this family owned and run business. The care they provide is stellar and I appreciate how much they care. (Side note, my child has been seeing Dr. Warr at this location for a couple years and she’s amazing too!)

You will get the very best eye care with Dr. Murphy and her assistant. They are attentive and professional. The facility is very nice, spacious and clean. The only reason I did not give them 5 stars is because I felt the check in could be so much better. It is not very welcoming or friendly.

Dr. Douglas is our Ophthalmologist and I appreciate the attention and care she provides. We had an alarming eye issue with my 104 year old mother. Dr Douglas was very proficient, reassuring and explained everything in detail. The entire staff is professional, friendly and makes you feel comfortable.

Absolutely Great Experience! This is my regular eye doctor; but, called the office very late in the day with something in my eye. Emergency! Dr. McPherson stayed past closing and took his time. Very thorough and detailed. Searched for foreign debris. Looked for damage. Talked me through the necessary eye drops and the plan for the next few days. This is a practice that still understands customer service! Need an eye doctor, this is the place to go!

Had my first appointment here yesterday. Staff is absolutely amazing, from being greeted, throughout the appointment, and Dr. Murphy is phenomenal. Staff is kind, polite, and very easy to talk to. I've never gotten so much information about my prescription as she talked through it and the rationale as to why she was prescribing is not the kind of transparency I had come to expect during an eye exam visit, but was very nice to get. I'm looking forward to my next appointment here next year as the experience as a patient has been exceptional, bar none.

My family has been going to McPherson for about six years and the service and eye care is always great. They have a nice selection of premium frames and itemized lenses so be mindful if you are on a budget.

I have a small, thin, face and she took so much time to present many options. She was so patient with me, since it took me a little while to choose. I was poked in the eye by my toddler and needed an urgent appointment. I was able to get seen immediately and the staff was so friendly and knowledge. They genuinely were concerned and made me feel safe and cared for. I hope I don’t have to go back for another corneal abrasion but, if I do or need anything to do with my eyes they will be my first call. Amazing experience during a very scary time for me! Dr. Murphy was amazing! She was very patient and compassionate. She’s determined to improve my eyesight by ordering the correct lenses for my eyeglasses. My eyesight hasn’t been that great since I’ve had cataract surgeries and a retina surgery. She’s the only one who gives me hope for better vision!

First time at this office, new patient process was easy and staff was extremely friendly. Saw Dr.Douglas who was extremely pleasant, explaining everything very well. Took time to make suggestions and our time didn’t feel rushed at all. Everyone from check in to check out and in between was incredible. Plan to continue to use them as long as their doors are open !

Dr Murphy is an excellent doctor! She is kind, caring and honest….everything I want in an eye doctor. She has been my optimist for 20 years. Her prescriptions for my glasses are always on point. She takes her time to ensure I am getting the best prescription for my eyes. I trust her and vale her opinion on my changing eye condition. She is trustworthy and reliable and I am thankful I found her!

First visit to McPherson Family Eye Care in Wake Forest, NC yesterday (November 30, 2023). All the staff were so kind and helpful. I loved Dr. Murphy, she was also very kind and professional. She took the time to answer all of my questions and listened to my eye concerns. Dr. Murphy checked my eyes and we discussed getting two pair of prescription glasses, one for distance and one for reading. Yasmin worked with us to find just the right glasses I liked and that fit into our budget. I was very pleased with the affordable prices and ordered the two pair of glasses. I had an excellent experience . I felt I received a thorough exam . And I was assisted with selecting my frames. I was not rushed nor talked in to anything. They were there to support my needs and what I wanted.

Pleasant atmosphere, bright and clean. Personnel were very knowledgeable, pleasant,caring and efficient. I was made to feel very comfortable and all tests were explained while they were being performed. I am extremely pleased and comfortable with Dr. Douglas. She is very knowledgeable about glaucoma which I have been diagnosed with. She was very pleasant and direct. I was thankful she the took time to go over my test results and what her plan for my care is going forward.

A wonderful experience!!! I expected it to be waiting for a long time as I did not have an appointment since my daughter's glasses broke unexpectedly. Fortunately, we bought the warranty when getting the glasses!!! Yasmine assisted me & I was in/out in no time! Usually, when any doctor's office is running behind you feel rushed out the door; however, this was Not the case at McPherson Family Eye Care today! I had a fantastic and knowledgeable front desk staff, excellent insurance coordinator and an Efficient, Caring Doctor. Dr. Warr really listened and was patient with my questions. I have been to this specific Doctor twice now, and have nothing but positive comments! Highly recommend. 100%

Amazing experience! I had a red irritated eye and antibiotic drops from primary care provider not helping. I was able to fit in same day for an evaluation of my eye and given drops with steroid and my eye is back to normal now. I truly appreciate that they fit me in being that I am routine patient there and up to date on my eye exams. Thanks for all you help from front desk staff scheduling appointment to check out staff checking me out. Keep up the great work, you all are appreciated!

This experience is always great. The receptionists are very nice the intake technicians are the best! The doctor is always efficient and helpful in understanding our eye care. The only issue I would like to bring up is that the chairs in the pre-exam room slide to easily across the floor.

Hello. I think it could be fabulous to turn a negative experience into a positive one if you would simply text people to let them know you are running behind. I waited almost 40 minutes beyond my appointment time to be seen with no explanation. Given that many people likely live close, having that time to do something more productive than sit there and stew would be welcoming. Just a suggestion. Staff is great otherwise!!
