The place is fantastically planned. Each section is manned by an adult co-ordinating the section. The layout/design is 10/10 and the staff are brilliant, however They charge €14.50 for a 3 year old (& €10 per adult😓), however our 3 year old did not get to use it the way older kids did. She didn’t get to run and play in the supermarket/ drive the cars the way she would have liked to, kids are told how to do each thing... no room for their own imagination/self learning.... it’s ‘controlled’ fun. Definitely not for 3 years old, would recommend for the 4/5 years of age. lots of waiting in queues. Small groups in each session so waiting time can be long. Thankfully she was patient for some of it but she got tired and so we tried to leave and come back later after a rest but you can’t do that. So we paid €34.50 for 2 hours and couldn’t go back after she had a rest 😓 some sections don’t allow her participate, she wanted to do the postman (with our help), but that was only for 5+ years. There’s no area where kids her age can just run and play, I was surprised they didn’t have an area where young kids could just run up and down a slide and play on their own.

A lot of activities closed, a lot of them opened only in very limited time. Fir example: theatre closed, court closed, pharmacy closed… One shouldnt pay the entire amount for the ticket when they work 50%. It is visible that young people conducting the activities are not well trained, look very tired and gloomy… I have visited this place 10 years ago and the difference is huge… dissapointing

We love KidZania, my son is 5 and loves the sense of independence and responsibility, while the activities are educational and fun! The design of the city is high quality and kept clean, you do feel immersed in it. We can’t wait to come back again.

Most of the people that work there don't speak English, fellt ashamed since Portugal is one the country's that most people speak English. My daughter only speaks English and she was excluded in most of the things ..they said parents weren't allowed to enter and translate for them....

Very nice place to spend with your kids. The kids can experience how to do dofferent jobs so each stand from the location has scheduled activities. Better inform before you get in there from flyers or from kidzania webpage. The experience is very nice but should be properly organized for each family aside

Wonderful fun for kids! The only thing which I can't understand is why do parents must go and can't interact?!? This should be done by a employee or allow parents to interact. Either way the kids had loads of fun. It is expensive though. And shame on not accepting the money from kidsania at the gift shop, as their entire experience is about teaching kids about money, society and so on...(which then they don't accept!) but then imposing on parents to buy photos and gifts with euros. Whereas the 4 hour slot has been well paid for and as parents we were obliged to pay more and more!

Amazing for kids, but all activities take around 30 minutes, considering average waiting time in queues of 10-15 minutes and activities 15-20 minutes. It's usually really crowded and waiting times are long in the most popular activities (TAP, Radio, TV, firemen, INEM, driver's license, etc). It's impossible to do all activities in one shift (4hours). You need to plan in advance

My wife was looking for something for our daugthers in order to spend some time on our Easter holidays. So, she found this incredible place, that provides for all the kids an amazing experience concerning a "Real Live". Save and earn money and also discover various professions in a creative, funny and safe place.

My daughter had great fun, but the space is supposed to open at 10h, it was late just a couple of minutes, however, when we got in, several activities were still not open and ready to receive the children and after 30 min they were still not ready, some activities were not running, lack of staff and as it is done in sessions even the number of children sometimes was not enough for some activities to run. The toilets did not have toilet paper and most of the food stalls were closed, so for a session that runs between 10h and 14h I would say a place to eat is fundamental, only pizza hut and McDonald's were opened and did not appear to have enough food ready, as I asked for 2 slices and had to wait 15 minutes for the 2nd one. Overall the experience was not good and very expensive tickets for that!!!

I booked my child's birthday party here and had an overall pleasant experience. The cite itself is quite impressive, with lots of options for kids of all ages. I was somewhat disappointed to find that many of the shops were closed on the day we attended and that the time wasn't managed well for those that were open; our group did not have the opportunity to attend all of the scheduled activities. The activities that were open had extremely long lines due to the limited number of options. While the staff was extremely courteous and helpful, our group felt pressured to move out of the party room where the children were eating and singing happy birthday after only about 35 minutes. I believe that had there been more staff members present we would have been fewer issues with time, lines, and pressure...so I hope to see that in the future.

Large variety on offer however majority of the staff seem depressed to be working with children. A vibe was missing. More food sponsors need to get involved as those activities were full all the time.

Good entertainment for kids! Really awesome idea but the queues are really long! They should be able to rotate the timing of “shows” so that the queues are shared over all the spaces

  • 3/5 Timothy T. 8 months ago on Google
The idea is fantastic; however, the implementation could use some improvements. On many occasions we didn't have any children who wanted to be a client, thus could not do the activity. We even asked if a parent could be a client and still "pay" with the kid's money, but the attendant said no.

Such a great experience for the kids! They have all kinds of jobs to do and earn money for it só that they get to spend it in what they need. Its a 4h shift well spent.

The kids had a wonderful time. It was an experience they will never forget! The only thing that let me down was the photos they take at de entrance. You pay 7.50€ for one and 10€ for two, and that is fine, the problem is, the photos didn't had the quality you would expect. They where clearly messed with because they tried to "tan" my kids skin for whatever reason and the pictures where, overall, really dark. I took much much better pics with my phone. The reason why we wanted them to take our picture was for everybody to be in it but it wasn't worth it. Other than that it was really fun!

A great idea but not ideal for tourists! Why? Answer: Everything is in Portuguese! All signs, all descriptions, everything. Non-Portuguese speaking children might get lost, not understand the instructions, etc. Noted, some booth staff do speak some English.

Such a magical place! I was a bit upset that parents can't participate :D The kids spent the whole three hours doing the activities as grownups, learned how hard it is to work and how fast you can spend all your money. The experience was very positive and most important, most employees speak English which made everything so much easier on my kids.

Waiting time is too long for each activity although there are not many kids. Each activity runs more than 20 mins but lots of them can be done in 10-15mins. Animators doesn't seem really happy with what they are doing so don't expect a smile or a good entertainment for kids from them.

Crazy long waiting times for each activity, and for most of them you have to also do a pre-activity training that’s long and boring. A whole lot of lining up and listening for not a lot of fun… we were there for an hour and a half and only got to do two activities before giving up. Also the website doesn’t work so you can’t buy tickets in advance.

My Son was invited there for a friend's birthday party and had a blast. Even came home with his own "drivers license" which he is very chuffed with.

Patricia loved it! She sometimes craves for this particular playtime, and I feel happy to drive her to Kidzania despite her not so adequate age (she over 40 but who cares!!) Staff always let her in and her joy.. OMG.. is something else!!! It really is something to see her on her favourite job.. the air hostess!!!! I'm taking her again next week

From childhood we are mesmerising about aeroplanes and even now also if we listen the sound automatically or head will get turn to locate it. It's a good place for kids to understand the aircraft/ aeroplane ✈️ In better way, they have given the access of entire aircraft (dummy) so that the children will go through it and have more curiousity. Also it is helping them to understand how it works more scientifically. I will say it's a good initiative to educate children.

Awesome! Little big world for the little fellows

Very funny moments with my kids. They loved is how to feel doing grown-up stuff, like work to make money, get a drive license and learn useful things like making hamburger, pizzas, cookies. I strongly recommend taking your kids there.

  • 5/5 James S. 1 year ago on Google
That was awesome, great experience in showing your children the value of money and the pieces behind hard work and reward. As soon as I get home I will be getting my 9 year old and 6 year old out to work. Thanks kidzania

Great place for kids, there's no public transportation, uber probably thenonly option if you don't have car (no taxi stand), be aware admission only good for max 4 hours, some experiences have a really long line up, would suggest plan ahead.

Magic world for kids. 100% fun. World of grownups in miniatur where kids rule...

  • 5/5 Carlos S. 7 years ago on Google
Wonderful place for kids, they love it. Go early and enjoy the full day. After 8 they can go alone. There's a room with free WiFi, sofas and a small cinema room for parents to wait while kids are having fun

  • 4/5 Miguel M. 1 year ago on Google
Good for ages 4 to 13(ish). Many choices, so prepare for a few hours of fun. There's also food inside (just pizza Hut) but prefere to come after eating, to spend all the time in the park playing. Only downside is that parents/kids must chase what is starting and what does not have a queue. A "leave all the planning to us" tour option (even as extra) would be much apreciated.
